My sons were super excited about being in the Conestoga Wagon. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and once we settled in, we were warm enough for the night. It was fun to be on a working ranch.

As a working ranch, the cows free roam, which meant "land mines" - so you must watch your step at night. The shared showers needed a good scrubbing. Food is super expensive throughout the whole area. There are not other restaurant options in the near vicinity. The food was good, but an automatic tip was added to the bill which was 1/4 of the whole bill. For that tip, I was able to order with the waitress at the bar, get my own condiments and silverware...the waitress did bring the plates to the table. There was nothing on the listing about additional fees for linen rentals. It would have been helpful to have had a heads up.

Very convenient location, 15 minutes before entering Grand Teton National Park. We lived in a wagon and the views from it were beautiful. There was a heater in the wagon, which we really appreciated because the nights in September were already quite cold. We were given bed linen, towels and there were blankets in the wagon. I read a lot of negative reviews about the showers, I do not agree with them. The shower is normal, not super new, but not terrible either. This is a campsite, after all. Such a shower was enough to comfortably bathe.

The workers in the cafe and the store did not seem at all happy to see people. I do not expect them to jump for joy, but a simple smile and greeting would have been enough. Remember that this is a farm. Sometimes at night we heard dogs and coyotes/wolves screaming. Several times in the morning and at night cows walked near our wagon. Literally behind the wall and they were heard VERY well. So a good night's sleep was always at risk. It wasn't a big problem for us, but it's important to know.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Since we came after the teepees had started to be taken down for the season, we were upgraded to a Covered Wagon and our kids LOVED it! The large bed was very comfortable, but the bunk beds were great for young kids, not so much for our teenager. The bathrooms were decently clean. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay.

Our biggest complaint was the Cafe' (the only place you can get food for miles) was quite expensive. We opted to only eat one meal there because it cost my family of 4 almost $100 for burgers, fries, and waters. Also, we had to continuously go up to the counter to order, get our drinks, etc. It wasn't great service, especially for the price!

Absolutely loved this place! The views of the Tetons are outstanding!!! Beautiful and friendly horses, dogs and cats, herd of cows coming back to the corral in the evening. The cafe has WiFi and a good menu. We slept in a wagon and it was cosy. Light, linens and heater were provided. Here are a few advices: - check in is at the cafe on the left - arrive before dark to enjoy the scenery and get comfortably settled - expect rural/farm setting - the nights were cold in mid September, bring layers, and more blankets or sleeping bags if you can

Only 3 bathrooms but they worked well when we were there No possibility of cooking/reheating food onsite. Really wished there would be at least a microwave

Family of five stayed in a wagon on an active horse ranch. First time experience for us. Almost like glamping but with the outdoor, rugged feeling and atmosphere with great views of the mountains and horses on the property. The wagon had bunk beds and a king bed that were surprisingly comfortable with warm blankets for each bed. The lodge was nice and had nice bathrooms compared to the ones next to the horses.

We had to pay extra for sheets, pillow covers and towels. Our heater inside the wagon did not stay on all the time maybe due to low propane so it was cold throughout the nights while sleeping. Also if you don’t mind waking up at o-dark thirty in the morning because of it being a working horse ranch the ranchers are already up and working the horses so you may or may not get a good nights rest. The community bathrooms and showers were ok but not the cleanest and the shower heads could be changed as the one we used had one stream of water and took longer to rinse off. The on site cafe was pricey and a cup of coffee was $4. Complimentary coffee would’ve been nice and also a microwave to use if you brought your own food.

I think some of these reviews are a little unfair. This isn't glamping, it's not luxurious. It's a ranch, there's a lot of horses, it's what you would expect at a ranch in WY. I didn't have service but some of my friends did but that didn't ruin my time :) I stayed in a tipi with my fiancé and two friends, we had a blast! There are 4 beds that are more like cots. There was a blanket on each bed, but I brought my sleeping bag, pilllow, and some other blankets and slept very well! The tipis were not as cold as I thought they would be for beginning of June. I brought earplugs and I'm glad I did bc I could hear a man snoring in a nearby tipi! My fiancé and I did a horseback ride and it was so fun! The people here were so friendly and helpful. It was a neat experience and I would stay here again.

I saw a lot of people comment on the bathrooms. They could be updated a bit but I didn't run into any problems with them. I was there Friday to Sunday and not once did I see or experience a line/wait of any sort. There are two stalls and 3 shower stalls but one was out of order.

Ask Tailor for some delicious fried potatoes. Or, talk to the sweet check-in and checkout woman about any heater issues, and she is sure to get someone for you in a flash. Waking up to the smell of fresh air and horse manure sounds bad, but it's a 10-steps up from the smog of a big city; the Wyoming cold will humble you, and the fresh air will snap your senses back into reality. The horses whining and the friendly dogs running around remind you of how harmonious the relationship between man and beast can be. A great vacation spot to stay at for certain.

I am very grateful for my stay. Their late-arrival policy is the best thing about staying at the Buffalo Ranch Inn- aside from the potatoes and hot cocoa (Ask for the Cookie Syrup!) Just be careful with the heaters in the wagons: they can certainly leak air. Gratefully, our heater came with instructions and warnings about this exact thing. It did end up leaking air, but everyone who stayed was fine, and the checkout woman was notified and took care of it.

Location was best, a unique and wonderful experience to be in a working ranch. Our group of four adults shared a stage wagon, which was roomy and the beds comfortable enough. It got cold overnight, but the blankets provided and the gas heater were enough to keep warm. The washrooms could use some maintenance, but were all working and I never had to line up to use one. We loved the picturesque lodge activity room, which had a tuned piano for the musician in our group. Relaxing in the terrace with the gorgeous views is a must. We didn’t use the restaurant at all, we carried our food in coolers and enjoyed picnics in the park. I’m so glad I didn’t get discouraged bad the negative comments. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to people who enjoy camping and horses.

Experience of staying in a Conestoga wagon. Enjoyed my horseback ride.

bathroom conditions were unbearable. With the amount of people using them they should definitely be cleaned more often. Also linens provided I expected sheets however just left with an open sleeping bag thrown over plastic covered mattress yet left an envelope to tip. I understand it is a working ranch but, seriously you could be better at bathrooms being kept cleaner.

A real experience. I'm not a horse man but it was really intetesting. Wagon was far more comfortable than expected. The View out of the wagon was a outstanding. We arrived in the dark and were surprised the following morning to find 100 plus horses being readied for the Riders coming at 9:00. Not ideal for a sleep in but very interesting to watch them muster the horses and saddle them up. If you had kids it would be perfect. We stayed two nights and arrive back during daylight in time to see them remuster the horses and take them down the valley to pasture that was a fascinating experience. Location is spot on for traveling around Grand Teton and still very good if you happen to spend a few days there to go to Yellowstone. I started with the comment and finish with it this place was a real experience and we very much enjoyed it.

There are only three showers/toilets and you would have to say it was like an ordinary Australian Caravan Park standard. That might be a real put off for some people but didn't really worry us much at all as we have used similar facilities in Australia.
