This was a return visit for me. We stayed here in 2021 at the same time of year, This time was just as good as last! The Heart Six has the best views in the entier region- you can see the Tetons from the deck that overlooks the river and valley. I love watching the horses being lead down and back from their evening pastures. Staff is friendly and this time around- we had a great experience in the restaurant on site. Grteat burgers with superb onion rings hit the spot after a long day of sight seeing!
There were a number of boards in the decking areas that needed repair. This last winter was a tough one and the ranch needs some spring sprucing up. This was minor though. The rooms are in great shape and they keep the parking areas in good repair.

It was a nice escape, staying in a ranch gave a good feeling of loving outside the city and is nice to have the horses nearby. We also did Horse Riding, but would only recommend to people that haven't ridden before, as it's a quite basic ride. Closets were bigger than most hotels. We arrived after hours and it wasn't a problem, they left us an envelope with keys and clear instructions.
Shower head was lower than it was comfortable (had to lean my back forward) and the restaurant only opened until 6 (i think it was a seasonal thing), and i breakfast wasn't very good.

If you are looking for a no frills homey cabin vibe this place definitely checks the boxes. It was a basecamp for us to check out Grand Teton NP and provided a lovely, warm, comfortable space to get out of the snow storms rolling thru at the time. Literally the most comfortable beds I had ever slept on,and the staff were warm and inviting.....they even helped me dig my buried car out of the snow the next morning, this place is a keeper!! They also had a communal lodge area with games, pool table, etc to relax if you wanted to hang elsewhere than your room. I will definitely be coming back.

Great experience, nice tours, great staff. We loved the lodge you made, spend there a decent amount of time playing and chatting with other guests. The restaurant is beautiful, I wish the food there could be a little better.
You can't expect the same level of comfort as from hotels, because it is a ranch and it is very authentic. Getting used to smells and sounds in less than a day. Food at restaurant is poop. And they don't let guests to use microwaves or get a hot water to just basically make an instant oatmeal for kids.

That fact that it was on a real ranch. The staff took care of issues very promptly, we had a clogged sink and leaking roof in bathroom the first night. It was taken care of the very next day. Staff were polite
I think lighting could have been better especially when entering the cabins, maybe a porch light? It’s very dark when coming back late and the first night we arrived in dark and it was difficult to see which cabin was what. Also if you didn’t leave a light on when you left for the day , there wasn’t a light switch right inside door. Other issue was where the electrical outlets were in room. There should be a plug in center of room next to the beds. In my party we had two people with cpap machines and only one could use d/t no outlets by beds .

Stunning view of the ranch with Tetons in background - especially at sunset ! The property felt like a real working ranch with cows wandering through the property and horses in the stables . The scenery with the fall aspens was amazing but I guess we went a little late to enjoy many activities . The cafe felt very authentic with the staff and their ranch dogs hanging out there -loved it !
I wish we could have participated in more activities - our trip was delayed due to a family emergency so we missed out in the float trip and an opportunity to participate in some of the other activities as the season had just ended .

Absolutely stunning views, had a friend come last minute and booked one of the tents which was pretty close to where we were staying. She stayed dry through rain and a thunder storm so that was a plus. Overall quiet ranch perfect to get away and out of town, disconnected and reconnect with nature. Stayed to explore Teton and Yellowstone was so happy with how close the south entrance to the parks were made going multiple days worth it when you only had to drive a few miles.
Well… after driving for two days we finally got here, checked in, unpacked and decided to get some food at the restaurant, for three meals it was $80! Might just be me but the food was not worth $80… staff was pretty rude in the restaurant and left us questioning our decision on the first night. Walls were so thin we could hear out neighbor’s conversation and felt the need to whisper when it got late… in our room?? Absolutely no privacy super weird. You could SEE THE LIGHT from the other room coming through…. Yikes. After heading into town the next day and getting food that didn’t need refrigeration or heated… cuz they don’t have those either… we had a decent time. Wi-Fi is pretty much non existent so wouldn’t bet on using that either…

The view from our room was spectacular and we loved the experience. We enjoyed seeing them take the horses out in the morning and bring them back in the evening. The bed was comfortable. Food was pretty good at the restaurant. The people working there were all friendly.
The TV streaming was not good and there was only 1 tv shared by everyone staying in all the bedrooms in the cabin with no individual tv's in the bedrooms. If someone was already watching a show (which only intermittently worked), then you had to watch that show and not what you wanted. A couple was there with their dog and they warned everyone that came into the living room that the dog didn't like people. The dog shouldn't have been there if it didn't like people. If you didn't get to the onsite restaurant super early, they ran out of all of their entrees, so you'd either have to find somewhere else to eat or not eat if you didn't have snacks with you.

The Heart Six Ranch was good value for the area and a perfect place for our stay after exploring Yellowstone and wanting to explore the Grand Tetons. Fabulous quiet location with wonderful views from our room of the Grand Tetons. No coffee maker or microwave but this was not an issue as the staff in the next door cafe were happy to fill up our flask with hot water when we had dinner and breakfast there. We enjoyed the food in the cafe (as stated clearly on the bottom of the menu a gratuity is added to your check). No TV in the room but this was not an issue for us, loved the peace.
We liked everything. The facilities at the Heart Six ranch were exactly as described when booking.

Stunning location with amazing views. Motel accommodation in comfortable ensuite rooms decorated in a ranch style. Deck and seating to enjoy the view and chat to your neighbours. Restaurant/bar/shop/reception in a cabin on site.
The Restaurant/bar/shop/reception was understaffed and although the staff were really friendly, they were clearly not happy to be manning all areas, sometimes single handed. There was no provision for any cash payment at all and everything was chargeable down to hot water in the breakfast room to make our own tea in our own cup. The restaurant/bar smelt of old grease and fried food and the visible kitchen didn’t inspire faith in the quality of the food. We ate offsite in Hatchet as advised by someone we met at Ranch 6. The rooms are comfortable but cramped and the rustic furniture is charming but oversized for the rooms, which leaves little space even for a suitcase. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbours are doing.
