Well maintained, functional & clean hotel. Staff cheerful, efficient and caring. Special mention, Anna, Ruby and Jessica always smiling and attentive. Breakfast is balanced and nutritious. Credit goes to food planning in the kitchen and the lady supervisor who plates the dishes on guests choice.

Breakfast was lovely. Location was perfect, quiet spot but very close to all the action of Hoan Kiem. The staff was also extremely helpful - they had suggestions for restaurants, tours, and sites at the ready but weren't pushy with it. The staff is definitely the biggest strength of the hotel.

Room was okay, didn't blow me away so that's why I didn't score it perfectly. To be honest was a little surprised after arriving that it had been so highly rated on booking.com. When I went to check out they gave me a questionnaire and then asked me to not fill out any online reviews when they saw I only gave a score of 8, specifically because "they work hard to keep their ratings high". I believe they do, but just be aware that the score you see on booking.com is probably inflated.

Excellent hotel in the Hanoi Old Town, set off from the main road so it was very quiet. Staff were all very helpful and attentive. We had a big, spacious family room that was spotlessly clean. Lots of breakfast options served by Daisy, a very friendly woman who will ensure you don’t leave hungry. We left our luggage here while we did an overnight trip to Halong Bay.

I would like to start by saying that I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I'm in Vietnam! This was the best service I have ever had in my life (and I have already traveled to 30+ countries). The staff was so sweet, kind, and helpful and genuine! Especially the young blond guy at the front desk and the guy in the restaurant (sorry, I forgot your names!). Jessica was also super helpful and competent, especially when it came to the tours. You were always offered tea and there was always someone at the front desk. They were super happy to chat with you and recommend places to eat. For me, a female traveling alone and in Vietnam for the first time, it was so nice to feel not lonely and also cared for. The hotel: The location is in a quiet street right in the old quarter close to everything (I was just walking around everywhere since everything was within a 30min walk). The hotel is simple but clean and comfy and so are the rooms. There is free water in the room every day and it's always super clean. The size of the room was enough for me, traveling alone and I think it would def be also ok for a couple. The tours offered in the hotel are very well organized and the price is within the average/normal price compared to everywhere else. The guides were also super fun and friendly. They let me keep my luggage in the hotel for the days I was on a tour or after check out with no issue and I also could shower before my night flight as well.

Very central location, yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Early checkin was not possible, but they even let us take a shower in the staff room, we were able to store our bags etc. We even got upgraded to a huge family room. Room was clean, the bathroom smelled like mould but we’ve had that in every hotel in Vietnam due to the humidity.

All the communal areas like hallways, elevator, breakfast area have a certain smell to it (kind of like urine). We have read this in another review and though it was nonsense, but they are trying to influence your review von booking.com. On the day of our checkout we were asked for a feedback on paper. We mentioned the aspects above and gave them a ranking of 8 points. Later we were asked by the staff to still give them 10 points on booking. We know competition is big in Hanoi, but this is a no go and we always rely on reviews, so we want ours to be trustworthy, too.

I understand these hôtels are struggling from the post covid but I was asked to fill a survey in front of the people at the desk. And then asked to give a grade 10 that was matching my answers. Sure the place is nice but: 1.Never to ask a customer to fill a survey on the spot and in front of the staff. 2.The questions were limited. I'm sorry they are going through tough time as possibly all hotels in Vietnam but I feel a bit annoyed from that. I feel it removes the possibility of giving any nuanced feedback and keep the hotels obsessed by the maximum grade.

Generally the service was very good, the lady (unfortunately I forgot her name) was extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast service was good.

The room didn’t look like what I saw online, quite dated and the sound proof was bad. My parents weren’t able to sleep due to the constant noise from outside.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is fantastic, the street feels safe and secure. I would say the room facilities match the price point. Then there are areas that are absolutely exceptional - the service/welcome and attentiveness you receive is what sets this place apart for me Jessica is so helpful for the tours. I’ve solo travelled previously in the past and as a female I would feel so safe staying here alone they genuinely care about your trip and how you are doing and go the extra mile always. The housekeeping for me has been the best we’ve had on our travels such care put in to everything daily when they didn’t need to do really. We’ve stayed in more expensive places and both of the above surpasses on that aspect for me above them all. I would 100% recommend this place if you are looking for good value and an attentive stay.

What really makes this hotel special, is their staff. Always kind, smiling, happy to help and provide information - I’ve never experienced such amazing welcome in a hotel. Anna and Tom took great care of me and made sure my stay went amazingly. Plus, the hotel is located right in the heart of the Old Town, which makes sightseeing very easy. The breakfast is awesome, with many a la carte options such as pho, omelettes, crepes, bahn mi… and you can order as much as you can eat! The rooms are clean and it’s a great value for money.

This was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. This is not a super fancy hotel, but also really nice for the price. From the moment I booked the hotel, the staff have been soooo helpful from arranging an affordable transfer from the airport to the hotel, prepared an esim for me so it was ready upon arrival, to when I came down for breakfast after the first night to the staff knowing me by name. I had to work 2 of the nights I stayed here and the room was quiet and perfect for me to work it. They are allowing me to leave my large suitcase at the hotel while I go on the Ha Long Bay tour for 2 days, and I ended up booking another night. Oh, and they took care of my laundry for me at a great price. I will only stay at this hotel every time I come to Hanoi. Thank you so so much!
