the staff were amazing, the location was perfect and the room was lovely. I also loved the fact that it had a lift. I had an issue with a store in Hanoi giving me the wrong item and the reception staff even offered to come and help me resolve the issue as they speak Vietnamese. The price is more than reasonable, I was so impressed with my room and the staff were extra friendly and booked my airport taxi (cheaper than Grab) and also did all my washing within 1 day. I have learnt that your accommodation can make or break your stay and Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub definitely made mine! I’m very grateful for everything and will definitely be back in the future. highly recommend. All the staff speak great English too

the bathroom was very small so I had to sit on the toilet sideways because I couldn’t fit my legs to sit down normally but it’s manageable for a short stay

The staff is the best! They treat all there guests with respect, gratitude and kindness. They truly love their guests. The A/C works good. I like a firm bed. The location is great within the old quarter and the lake is close for morning walks around it. The night market is close too. You can walk to most anywhere from here. I was given the best recommendations for dinner each night. I would usually be the only westerner at the restaurant they’d recommend and I’d eat the best authentic local food at very affordable prices. They told me all the must see sights and museums to see in town During my stay and helped me plan some day tours and over night tours out of the city. I extended my stay with them because they where so great and helpful and so friendly and fun to talk with.

I stayed here twice in a week for a couple of days at a time. The first time, I stayed with them in a private room with a bed, on the quiet side of the hotel. The second occasion, I had originally booked a stay in their hostel, but they were kind enough to upgrade me to a private room for a really good deal. The hotel staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and really did a good job of making the hotel a welcoming place to stay. They offer an affordable rate for a taxi service to and from the airport - or anywhere, really, and really good values on bookings for day trips. You can even rent motorbikes through them for extremely reasonable rates, and they do a laundry service too. The staff is eager to assist. If you need a ride from the airport, feel free to request one with them before your flight, and I'm sure they'll hire you one for pickup. The location is right in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, and it's very hustle and bustle outside. They have some rooms on the street side that might be a little louder as there are some clubs nearby that bump music into the early hours, so if you want a quiet room, make sure to request one away from the street side. I stayed in rooms that were away from the street and didn't hear anything. If you're not going to be going out and partying on Beer Street until the wee hours, then it might be a good idea to make such a request. Overall, the hotel/hostel is pretty modest and simple, but totally comfortable, and you cannot beat the price for what it is. It isn't the four seasons, but you also should not expect anything of the sort for this pricepoint. I found it to be a good experience overall.

If I have to be really nitpicky, the fridge and the aircon were a little loud in one of the rooms I stayed in, but I mean.. that could be the case anywhere. It wasn't enough to disrupt my sleep at all but if youre super sensitive to that, then maybe ask them to check and make sure to get you a room with a quieter fridge or aircon.

- The room is fully equipped and very clean - The location is very convenient and even if it is located in a noisy street, in the room we cannot hear noise from the outside - All the staff was really pleasant, helpful and reactive to my requests. Bella was more than helpful. She helped me with my night bus ticket reservation and when there were an issue with the bus, she instantly found another solution. - They have a lot of partners for excursions. They offers good prices (less than if I booked everything separately by myself)

- The only point is a noise coming from inside the hotel (could be annoying for sensitive people but it didn’t bother me)

The staff was always very friendly and the owner Bella helped us a lot with organizing tours to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. The tours were good and I think we got a good price. She even went to the water puppet theater to buy tickets with really good seats for us! So we could go there directly after we arrived. We spend three nights in this Hotel and after the first night we were upgraded to a room with a window. Both rooms were equivalent to the fotos on booking.com.

It would be nice if there was breakfast included - but that would only be the icing on the cake.

This place is one of the best we stayed in vietnam. The staff is really friendly and helpfull, they book for us thé Ha Long Bay cruise which was à great expérience, and à 3 Day trip in sappa. Definitely recommend this place, in the old hanoi so you can get around easily and by foot. The room is super clean, with hot water in the shower and à comfy bed. They even propose to keep our big bags during our trip outside. It's totally worth the money and if we need a place to stay again in Hanoi we will come here for sure.

Nothing was bad, really.

Super central location within the Old Quarter with plenty of great restaurants and sightseeing super closeby. My room on the third floor was spacious and had everything needed, including a mini fridge, at an exceptional nightly rate. The two women on the front desk were sweet, friendly and super helpful too as I was had trouble ordering a Grab but one of them took the time to make sure my ride went through on the app a second time after the first driver canceled.

It was such a pleasant short stay we had at Queen Cafe Hotel but I wish it was actually longer. The staff were extremely cooperative and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We arrived early morning and they gave us an early check-in to ensure we had some rest before we could get out to explore the city. They helped us with our booking for Ha Long Bay and also for our cab to the airport. Had a lovely time here with the Hotel being bang in the centre of the old town.

Highly recommend. The staff was super sweet, friendly and helpful. I picked this place because I had a very late arrival (around 3am) on a bus from Sapa. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes away from where the bus dropped me. One member of staff had left the door open for me so I could still arrive this late and he was so kind and helpful, showed me my room and all I needed to know, even though it was the middle of the night. They really take amazing care of their guests. Thank you so much ✨

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I stayed in the 6-bedroom dorm and it was worth the money. It was clean and centrally located in the old quarter. Towels, soap was included and the managers recommended really good local food! For travellers on a budget this is the right address to stay!

In a Hostel it also depends on the people you are sharing the room with it it’s gonna be calm or not, I was lucky though!
