Well from the minute I arrived to when I left, this hostel is a friendly and welcoming place of rest in busy Hanoi. A big thank you to Johnny the owner who thought nothing of giving me a lift on his bike to collect my large rucksack on a return to trip into the city from another hostel. Little touches like hot tea on arrival, a lift, free towel and slippers for the shower, great specious electronic locker in the rooms and nice furnishings in the rooms. Help with booking trips etc. thank you Johnny and team.

Nothing! There is limited communal storage place for large back packs, but they make it work!

I was particularly amazed by all the team. They were adorable and really helpful. The facilities were great, had everything I needed. Locker is great, you don’t need to bring your own lock, which is convenient. There is even a rooftop where you can grab a chair and chill. Breakfast is very generous, sometimes I was so full I didn’t even need to eat lunch. Laundry is fast and good, the airport pickup is great (my plane had a huge delay, I arrived at 3 AM but I still was able to reserve a driver last minute. So nice and professional. I was impressed). Thank you so much to all of the team!

The location is great, facilities are clean and the staff are lovely! Plus the breakfast is really good too. I recommend booking a tour with them, they have plenty of options and for a better price than other agencies. Overall, it’s a great choice to stay here!

The only inconvenience was that the door of the room made a loud noice every time someone opened or closed it. Our beds were right next to it so the noice would wake us up a couple of times at night with people coming in and out of the room. Other than that, our experience was great.

This is my fourth time in Hanoi and therefore I have stayed in many different hostels. By far this is the best one (bear in mind the vibe here is actually like a small hotel rather than a party hostel)!!! Moreover ir's super clean, location is absolutely great but still quiet enough to sleep at night. Breakfast is also very good and served with a smile! . That said, what it's really amazing about this place is the staff. They are so welcoming, friendly and talkative. They never push you to get tours with them and the price is very reasonable! Highly recommend it!

This hostel is located right in the heart of the old town, making it an ideal spot to explore the area. It is beautifully decorated, and the rooftop is fantastic, offering an amazing view. The breakfast served is great, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also booked several excursions and tours through them, and they were excellently organized with top-quality service.

I only stayed here for a few hours but man o man it was worth it! I checked in a 4:00 AM I'm so sorry to the receptionist as I was not able to update them regarding my very early check-in but he was very nice and explained everything to me. The breakfast was good - it's filling. The ladies/staff cleaning were also nice - warm and always smiling. And my favorite part of this hostel? The wifi! it's very very fast! I was able to do my online work while staying for that said couple of hours.

Welcoming atmosphere. Tea for checking in. The staff I interacted with (Chi and Alice) were exceptionally helpful and supportive. They talk to airlines for you, send laundry after you by bus and more. Vietnam can be overwhelming and they made sure you can make a well-informed decision about your plans. Showers and toilets were mostly clean, soap was always available

A bit noisy (lobby and third floor are not separated by a ceiling) but you rarely hear it from the room. People don't seem to close the doors though.

I arrived at Awesome Hostel in the early hours of the morning and was warmly welcomed. The receptionist was extremely helpful in organising my 12 day stay, along with a trip to Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, and a four-day adventure on the Ha Giang Loop - all were incredible experiences. The beds were comfortable, and I especially appreciated that each bunk had its own fan to accommodate individual preferences. The complimentary pancakes in the morning were the best I've ever tasted.

Best hostel in Hanoi The beds were super comfy. I came at 9am from ecostay whose rooms had black mold and triggered my asthma all night. They immediately let me check in early so I could rest. I spent most of the day and night in that bed. It was very soft and Cozy. The showers hot (needed to steam my lungs) Very clean, had a curtain and they gave you a good towel and wash items. Locker with key and free breakfast. It's in the centre of everything. Free tea both times I came in, kind staff.
