Very beautiful rooms, spacious and with very comfortable beds, rich and tasty breakfast, but above all I will always remember the kindness of the staff. I was sick, they kept bringing me tea with ginger, and after checking out they offered me to rest for free a few more hours in another clean room where I was accompanied with more tea and a handwritten note in which they invited me to take care of me and contact them for anything. Rarely in the world have I found such a level of care and kindness. I give 10 but only because I can not give a higher score, I would give 20.

Absolutely everything about our stay at La Siesta Classic Ma May was fantastic! The staff across all departments are warm, welcoming, friendly, thoughtful, helpful and incredible professional. The hotel itself has a fabulous location so it’s easy to get pretty much everywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful, pristine and comfortably luxurious. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The linen is lovely and the ambiance relaxing. The treatments offered at the lovely spa are next level amazing, so make sure you book a massage (or two). The food was really delicious too - breakfast options were extensive, so there will definitely be something for everyone. The rooftop bar is worth spending some time at too - the views are magnificent, the aesthetic is cool and the vibe is classy cool. The personal attention and warmth of the staff really sets this hotel apart from the rest.

Easily one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in we received warm welcome until the moment we walked out. It's not the hardware of the hotel but rather the entire hotel staff that have made our stay particularly enjoyable. Every single hotel staff is well trained, they are ready to anticipate your needs and give your help. Breakfast is absolutely phenomenal, it's not a huge selection but everything very well prepared and they made an amazing latte. The hotel is centrally located in old quarters, there are plenty of food and entertainment options, you can easily walk to everything around Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The hotel staff will also make an effort to chat with you and give you recommendations, make friends with them and ask for their favorite restaurants! especially Hang who is very cute college graduate who gave me an entire list of restaurants to try. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Hanoi.

Excellent location in the old quarter, close to many restaurants, shops and all the tours happy to collect us from this site. The staff are absolutely excellent. We had an issue with a taxi driver who brought us to the hotel and they very kindly sorted this out. They offered advice on tours, restaurants and always made a point of speaking with you and welcoming you on arrival back from your day out. The rooms were well appointed, very clean with very comfortable beds. Fresh drinking water provided daily.Restaurant was also excellent with the included breakfast of a very high standard with both local and western options available.very nice sky bar on the top floor also. There was a spa, but we did not use this so can’t comment. Delighted we chose this hotel for our first 4 nights in Vietnam, a great start to our holiday.

The one lift could be busy at peak times. Hooks on the bathroom door would be very useful.

We booked a junior suite for 5 days and it was nothing less than amazing! The room was as how it looks in the photos, very clean and still looks new! The bed was super comfortable, and the aircon was super cold (loved it)! The skybar at the rooftop had an extremely good view of the old quarters, and was very windy despite it being super hot everywhere else. The service was definitely 5-star worthy. The receptionist (Huong Nyugen) who welcomed us gave us a list of food recommendations, and when I came back one afternoon with a stomachache, she spotted it instantly and delivered a cup of hot ginger tea up to my room! The bar staff at Moonlight Skybar (special shoutout to Tuan Le) were also really welcoming and they too make the effort to remember every customer!

Only drawback was the wifi which wasn’t working on some days. Other than that, location was also super good, less than 5min walk from the beer street. I highly recommend this hotel! It’s worth every penny!

I absolutely loved my stay at La Siesta Classic Ma May! The hotel's design and aesthetic are stunning, and every detail feels thoughtfully curated. They even went above and beyond to prepare a snack box for us when we had an early morning flight—a small gesture that made a big impression. Thanks Amy! The location is unbeatable—just walking distance to everything, which made exploring Hanoi so convenient. The shower pressure was fantastic, which is something I truly value for a comfortable stay. We initially booked another accommodation in Hanoi that turned out to be a disaster, but switching to La Siesta last minute was the best decision we made. It completely turned our trip around, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious well presented buffet breakfast. Local food delights and a generous portion of international options. There was something for everyone. The location was the real bonus. Five minutes to the lake and Beer st just around the corner. Ease of access without the noise around the hotel at night. Best of both worlds.

Well, I’m struggling to find anything that we didn’t like. We were on the 9th floor and did get a little of the ‘beat’ coming from the rooftop bar. Not really enough to be an issue. I think that if you were on the 10th floor it may have been different. Happy to report that we spent most evenings on the rooftop enjoying the ‘Happy hour’.

The staff and the location are exceptional. Dak, who works at the front desk is an exceptional person and really helped throughout our stay. The location is in the heart of Hanoi and if you’re going to experience it, this is the way to do it.

The bathroom is very challenging. And a little bit tricky navigating in and out of the tub. Older folks beware. I wouldn’t avoid staying here as a result of it, but just be careful. Also, it’s really a party town so you’ll hear outside noise. Bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. The staff was extremely friendly and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the front door. The city is chaotic and unfortunately very polluted, and entering this hotel gave us a sense of peace and relaxation. Our room was spacious and spotless. The buffet breakfast was excellent, well presented and with many different local and international food. We also treated ourselves with a dinner at their in-house restaurant: fancy, a little pricey but delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and since Hanoi was the last destination of our long trip in Vietnam, it was a great way to end it.

It is not cheap by Vietnamese price standards, but the quality is above average.
