The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is really good. The airline lost our backpacks and the hotel already prepared tooth brush and stuff like that for us. I really want to mention Mr. Huy from the reception he called the lost and found service for our backpacks. He was so kind and really helpful, thank you so much!! I definitely recommend this hotel because everonyes so nice and friendly.

A beautiful hotel in which to relax with very clean & airconditioned rooms. A great retreat when the heat is too much. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to cover everyone's taste. Afternoon tea was an added bonus after a morning spent sightseeing, shopping or swimming in the roof top pool. The rooms were also excellent, very clean and roomy. The staff could not be faulted - friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel and city as a great place to explore and relax.

We needed two rooms which was okay but we were put on different floors. It would have been more convenient to be all put on the same floor. Also, we only had one key per room, and this limited us in how we could come & go, eg if one wanted to go upstairs for a swim while the other wanted to go out shopping.

The breakfast and afternoon tea were amazing and great value for money. It’s located to all the great places in D1 and it’s a short ride most other districts. The staff were helpful at times and the room was good. The foot massage was both relaxing and soothing. The staff at the Spa were friendly and welcoming.

I do understand that it was a busy weekend but quite a few things were off. I arrived on time and was told to wait. I waited for a while until I had to leave and come back. We called 3 times to get a room clean on Saturday. One of the towels they left still had visible stains on it. For the price, the room didn’t have plugs on both sides of the bed. We paid a deposit for an breakage or any things we purchase, I was then told on check out that money will only be refunded after 3 days. This was only communicated to us when checking out. We’ve stayed at Alagon multiple times and have never been asked for a deposit, we usually pay when we check out.

I stayed at alagon hotel four years ago and was very impressed, especially the breakfast and afternoon tea were very rich and delicious. However, when I came to stay in the hotel this time, the breakfast was not as good as before, the PHO was not as delicious as before, the dishes were not as much as before, and the afternoon tea was not as rich as before. There was a little regret. In addition to breakfast and afternoon tea, the comfort of the rooms, the pool service, the rooftop bar are all excellent, the front desk staff, the housekeeping are all excellent. Next time I visit Ho Chi Minh City, I would choose to stay here again, but hope to improve breakfast and afternoon tea.

Clean and comfortable room, beds very comfortable. everything in the room you cold need. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Good pool. Great location. Short walk to Palace. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room was compact but nicely laid out and the bed comfortable. The breakfast had a reasonable selection of food, enough to fill you up before whatever activity lay ahead for the day. The location was excellent and within walking distances of the Sky Tower, Bui Vien Street and the War Remnants Museum, to name a few. The staff were also very pleasant, especially the girls in the Spa, who met all customers with a welcoming smile.

The sundeck above the pool was looking a little tired and could have benefitted from a mattress, as my limbs were covered in imprints from the wicker bed.

value for money . The hotel was clean , great buffet choices , very comfortable . Ammenities was good . staffs were friendly and courteous . Will return .

I stayed 4 nights at the Alagon D`antique and really enjoyed it. Staff, rooms, style of hotel, breakfast, location in the center but still quite - everything was to my full satisfaction. Even the pool, which was critized in some reviews, was clean and perfectly located on the roof of the hotel. I stay in a lot hotel, business wise and privately each year and I can say I can really recommend this hotel. I have no clue why it has only a 7.8 on booking. It fully diserves a 9.0 minimum. I will stay here again when I come back to Saigon.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We met Bruno when we first arrived to check in. He was amazing and gave us lots of helpful hints for places near by. The food at the hotel restaurant and pool side was very tasty. The swimming pool area was clean and big enough to relax.

The rooms are quite small which we didn't expect. There's not a lot of space for luggage or to move around. Unfortunately the spa weren't offering all there massages and only four were available. The walls are quite thin which means the hotel can be noisy at times.

Everything. Great central location. Lovely breakfast. Room was spotless, large and had everything. The rooftop pool bar and restaurant are a tonic after a day in a hot, crowded, sticky city. All of the staff are extremely helpful especially Mike on reception. He was remarkably patient with my using his phone to make an airline reservation. The airline wouldn't accept my credit card for an online reservation because of 2 stage strong authentication. He also translated. After all that he threw in a free late checkout because our flight was at 4pm. We stayed there before and will stay again.
