The location of Hotel Maison Mere is ideal. It is near many cafes, restaurants, shops, the train—but also on a lightly trafficked street. We were able to walk to the Louvre (about 20 mins) while waiting for our room to be ready on the first day of our trip. Other than a couple of Ubers (and to and from the airport) we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was fantastic as well. We stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions over the course of our travels and each time was consistently wonderful. We had a few minor requests along the way (steamer in the room, bucket of ice for wine, etc...) and they were all fulfilled either ahead of time or as soon as we made the request. The rooms we stayed in (I recommend the balcony), were all nicely updated and appointed, with complimentary in-room espresso and bottled water. While TV was certainly not a reason for our trip, each of the three rooms we stayed in had the same-sized rather large tv which was nice for winding down with late at night. Each time we checked in, our bed had a note from the staff with our names on it letting us know about weather and events for the upcoming days which was a nice touch. On Thursdays, the lobby bar/restaurant (Hey Honey) had live jazz which would have been an attraction on its own, and a nice plus that we could enjoy a cocktail and music before heading out for the evening. Out of all of the places we stayed during our European trip, this is the one we would absolutely book again without hesitation.

Great boutique hotel for people who appreciate the little things. We came with our 2 children and had connecting rooms. The room was well designed as seen in the pictures. Although it was quite small, it seems the hotel management thought of everything... including small nice surprises by the bad every night. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was amazing with an amazing shower head :-) Breakfast was rich and included eggs, few vegetables, sort of cheese and cold cuts, fruits, croassons etc The only thing that was missing for me was a "healthy bread" such as ray or whole wheat. The location is great, 5 min walk to 2 metro stations and there is a good tasty THai restaurant across the street and Pizza Hut for the kids.

The only thing that was a little disturbing in the kids room: they said they heard a noises each time someone was taking a shower of flashing the toilets on the rooms above us (we stayed on the second floor).

We were greeted warmly on arrival. The room was fresh and nicely furnished with a compact bathroom. The hotel is in a great location, quiet street and a short walk to cafes and restaurants in a nice neighbourhood. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge / minibar.

I thought the breakfast buffet was not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The fruits available looked tired and were not fresh, the butter tasted a bit fridgy. I like that they try to minimise packaging and waste, but I do expect that the food is kept fresh. This was a minor niggle and did not detract too much from the excellent impression of the hotel overall.

Entering Maison Mere, having stayed there many times for work, is always a cosy and warm experience. Staff remembering you is also an added bonus that many other hotels like to skip.. It's ideal for business trips as they have an on-site coworking space with all the amenities you could wish for, the breakfast menu is top notch and the cocktail bar at night well... simply delicious. All the rooms are as good as they can be for Paris but what makes this place stand out, and always.. is the staff. 10/10 for the friendliness and welcomeness. Every. single. time

The customer service at this hotel was exceptional! Everyone was absolutely wonderful and kind and friendly. The petite room is a little small for 2 friends, okay for a couple or single. The standard room was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was simple but wonderful and delicious. When it was time to leave Paris, leaving this hotel was the saddest part! Loved our stay and if I ever came back to Paris, I would 100% stay here again.

If I had to be nitpicky, I wish the website had better and more informative photos of the rooms because it was slightly confusing when booking. But it turned out fine.

We travelled France for a month and this was by far our favourite hotel. Great location near metro and lots of great places to eat. We were also able to walk to the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre area. It was comfortable and the staff were so lovely. We didn’t tell them it was my husbands birthday but on the day we found balloons, a card and chocolates in our room which was such a special touch. We had breakfast on our balcony which was amazing and great value. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Staff were very warm and helpful upon arrival. We got welcome drinks, a handwritten note and free fortune cookies. Very easy to walk to Montmarte and explore the area. The room is small but we already knew that before booking and were only there a night. It's still comfortable and there are larger rooms available for a longer stay. We went down to their restaurant/bar for a drink and the bartender (didn't catch his name) made great drinks and was friendly - had a good chat and he let us try some of his special brews.

We stayed as a family of 4 in two interconnecting rooms over a 4 night, February school break. From start to finish, our stay at this beautifully appointed hotel was flawless. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, the rooms are beautifully appointed with all mod cons and lots of personal touches and the breakfast was substantial and tasty. We would like to thank each and every one of the staff for your wonderful hospitality which was especially appreciated as one of our sons has additional needs.

Nothing...it was just perfect

The checkin was fun and relaxing. They offered us wine and we discussed different ways they could help us with booking tourist trips and arrange cars and taxies. The room was very nicely decorated and the shower was amazing. Finally the staff was always eager to please any request even in the middle of the night. It was by far one of the coolest and best hotel I have stayed at for years

No breakfast included. They had a really nice breakfast buffet setup, but it was extra.

The location is excellent, very close to Cadet on Metro line 7 and a historical urban park. Restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance. The interior public space as well as the rooms are not huge but clean, modern and thoughtfully decorated. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

The room AC didn't get very warm even though I tried to turn up the temperature. I know that honey is in the brand image of the hotel but I didn't like the honey scent in the lobby and in the toiletries provided in the rooms. A hand soap would be welcome.
