I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to others. My room was newly renovated and had excellent sea view rooms.

I don’t like that the price of the spa isn’t included with the rooms

The location is of course exceptional. There is a private beach nearby (Le Temps d'un Été) which is comfortable and beautiful and about 30 euros per person for the day for a chair. Given that I don't like fighting for chairs and parasols, the reservation system is beautiful. The hotel is just okay.

Smelled a little musty, and décor is out of touch. Lobby could also use an upgrade as the little wooden reception counter makes it look like a Motel. In dire need of an update for all their paint, tiles, bedding, curtains, etc. A little remodel will go a long way to match the location, and to match the pricing. I know that it's Nice, but still, I would like to feel not in the early 90s for $3500 for 2 nights (Family of 5).

Breakfast was wonderful. Bar staff was great, as were the drinks! Bed, pillows and linens were very comfy.

The bathroom in 401 was much smaller than 404 - I realize there is not anything to be done about that though. Also, neither of these room has what I would call a "city view" There was not a view of anything really. Might be better to be more clear about that up front. I would have booked an ocean view if I would have known the city view was just the back of a building.

The location is wonderful and our room was lovely. We paid extra for a superior room and had a view of the sea, the promenade and the busy street scene which was amazing to watch. Breakfast was good although a tad limited but certainly enough choice. The hotel building itself is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was forced to change the room category and pay more because the room "with a view" that we booked was with a view on the dirty roof/curtain over the entrance to the hotel. Don't even consider the 1st floor for living! The staff is all the time surfing phones and does not even greet guests breakfast small and same everyday

The hotel was in a good location. The Bar and restaurant had great sea views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good buffet choice. The food in the restaurant for dinner was also excellent. Our bedroom was a little on the small size - maybe we should have checked description better? the bathroom was quite large though. The whole hotel was very clean.

Excellent location, spacious, Good breakfast.

The hotel has been substantially modernised, however there are still some remaining older fixtures. This is compensated by the grandeur of the hotel

I liked my stay at the hotel very much. The room, the space, my balcony was overlooking both at the city and the sea, and even the weather was chilly, I liked to be at the balcony. The breakfast suggested basic stuff, but great variety of meats and cheese. The cleaning was every day. The staff is extremely polite and caring. The walk by the seaside was just great as to rally routine, city center is 10 mins walk, good seafood restaurant just the next door, other restaurants are 5-10 mins walk. I also came to a bar with seaside view to work, so it was very nice.

There are no sockets next to the bed, and overall there were not enough to make convenient connection of the phone and laptop. Also if you want to use the spa, you need to really book it in advance, its always fully booked.

I was unaware that the air was already out for the season. wish I had known before booking. had to sleep with door open and no ear plugs.
