Hotel Le Meurice

Location, location, location. Close to absolutely everything. Quiet room. The staff was very helpful. We prefer smaller hotels.

Although the picture gallery showed rooms with windows, our room did not have a window. The bathroom had two large and very nice (frosted glass) windows. The sliding glass door on the bathroom was odd since it wasn't completely obscured. Decoration was quirky. We'd been in France for 3 weeks and stayed at 5 hotels. Language barrier was most challenging at this hotel. Our other hotels had their most language fluent and outgoing staff at the reception desk during the busiest check-in times. First impressions set the tone for the stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect and so easy to walk around the main part of the old town. The room was nice and clean and just what you want for a two nights stay!

I think the fact that this hotel cam up when you click on the parking request when searching for the property. I don't think this is their fault but it would have been good to have a warning! Plus the car park was blocked off by roadworks so we spent a little while trying to find another one!

Location was great - near restaurants and the sea. Room decor was excellent and bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked good. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great stay with minor comments: 1. tea making facilities provided except the plug wire was so short it wasn’t possible to plug it in. we needed to borrow an extension lead from reception. Also no milk provided to make the tea or coffee. 2. There was no useable shower. The lovely Jacuzzi bath had a handheld shower attachment but no attachment for the wall.

First, when we got there very early they let us into the room which was great. The location of the hotel is excellent. 5 minutes from the old town and 50 metres from the beach. Staff very friendly and feels more personable than a big chain hotel. Shower pressure lovely and had a jacuzzi bath.

Not much to be honest. The bathroom in room 206 was a little strange in layout in that the toilet was a very tight squeeze to get in and water from the shower got everywhere. But them there was a plastic covering foe the floor to take care of that.

the reception is too messy and not decorated in respect of the hotel theme.. some cleaning objets was put arround , bags.. i would just put some flowers, make the receiption and hotel entrance more clear in positionning

This location puts you in close proximity to the Promenade, dining and shopping, the old city center and flower market and Chateau. The staff were courteous and helpful, greeting visitors warmly and offering information about the area. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily, which is a rarity in the US since COVID. Appreciated that touch

great location! very close to the beach & beside lots of restaurants & cafes. bed was comfortable and room was good. we also had a bath which was nice! no balcony or view which was fine but just in case that’s what someone wants. would stay again for a short stay in Nice.

The location of the hotel is central to key tourist areas. The rooms are compact and neat. The staff is very kind

The hotel should make it a priority to answer emails. The stairs are dark, no lights or if there are lights, they definitely did not light up. The rules say eating is not allowed in rooms which is really inconvenient

Did not like the sofa / chairs color in the lobby ! Better to keep complete art deco style in lobby & outside simple, no chairs outside or metal man pointing to entrance

When we got to the hotel, we were so impressed by the location and the hotel itself, we asked to extend our stay. Happily, the hotel was happy to do that at the same price per night. So first of all, the location is really great, 2 minutes away from the beach, and right outside a street with restaurants, bars and cafes that takes you all the way to the city center (5 minutes away). The rooms were comfy, the bath was great and the staff was helpful and nice.

There's renovation in a nearby building and we woke up to the sound of drilling around 8am in one of the mornings. I believe our room was just adjacent to the building so we may have gotten it the worst. For some reason, there's no option to lift the toilet seat up, so if you're a man and like peeing standing up, you're up for a challenge! ;) I don't know what the hotel can do about the parking, but it was quite expensive.
