it was our second stay here, we were here for the first time in 2016. The room was nice and clean, staff and services really good - i especially appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of the concierge - he helped us with a reservation and was available to assist us even during his day off.

i have one remark - i do not recommend the Hood restaurant. as a restaurant that has sushi as main dish it was extremely disappointing. the sashimi plate had more greens than fish, while the sushi rolls were just bland…the salmon tartar was good but nothing impressive at all… so, with so many good fish restaurants close to the hotel, i would recommend to eat out and not choose Hood Restaurant.

Friendly staff. Amazing view. Good breakfast. The room was overall clean. The friendly staff allowed us to stay a few more minutes when everyone left to take a good photo at the outdoor pool. The staff explained everything clearly so we could get around easily.

The room could be cleaned in detail, many places that require effort to be reached were not cleaned. In addition, there were a few lamps that had visible damage, I personally prefer if everything was perfect and looked like new. The pool water was colder than expected

Staff were very helpful. They did their best to make sure we got all the details about the places we wanted to visit. Location was also pretty good. The hotel is on the Asian side of Istanbul close to a lot of local shops and restaurants, and is a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal that goes to the other side of Istanbul.

Housekeeping could be a bit better. The rooms got cleaned everyday, but a few times they forgot to put new towels in the bathroom.

Surrounding area near right next to the hotel looked really run down, not what I expected but then don’t think the hotel can do much about it as it’s outside the property

Location is great, the rooftop restaurant is excellent, and the gym is very spacious and good quality equipment

It's a very busy area, therefore the entrance is very crowded with cars

Rooms were spacious. We had a twin room with exceptionally comfy and wide beds. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding - both variety and quality. Location was good with a five minute stroll to the ferry/bus/metro terminal and only a short ferry ride to the busy part of Istanbul. If you don’t like crowds and fresher air, this is the perfect hotel. Rooftop pool was really handy on hot days. Complimentary spa was fabulous and we used it daily.

Our intention was to dine at the hotel’s restaurant with spectacular views all week (the restaurant is fantastic and staff were brilliant). Unfortunately, the chef simply can’t cook. Lamb was chewy and full of fat. Fish was over cooked and tasteless. What a shame!!! We ended up eating at a local authentic Turkish restaurant Ciya Sophia/Ciya Kebap and had fabulous cocktails and wine at the Hood afterwards. Small detail but we had to keep asking for extra coffee and toilet rolls. Cleaners should leave extra supplies daily to avoid the hassle.

The location is convenient because of its proximity to the Kadikou ferry station and the surrounding cafes and restaurants which were superb. The area is very lively but the biggest disadvantage is that taxi drivers are not very willing to come to this area from the European side, esp in the evenings. The gym also needs to be shifted to the roof or somewhere with a view because its current location in the basement gives a claustrophobic and dark vibe. But on the positive side the room was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would like to mention especially Ismail (the concierge), for his Knowledge of the city and helpful attitude, Eda at reception and Ural, Kanan and Muhammed amongst the hotel attendants who were absolutely brilliant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back for our next visit to Istanbul!

The gym’s location (in the basement….too dark and closed; needs an open and airy room with a view of the outdoors to make it more modern

Very central to all shops and restaurants and the boats ,yet it is quite at night , the hotel is stylish modern and all comfortis there , views are magnificent from your room, especially the sunsets. We booked the hotel because there was a pool on the roof top we where there for partly leisure , unfortunately for us the day & time we arrived there was a technical problem and the pool was closed immediately, that can happen in any hotel ofcourse , but the staff & manager where very friendly & helpfull and proposed a solution that worked out , so that what makes it for me a good hotel , if there is a problem that is can be solved , we will definitely return since we visit istanbul frequently Thanks to the manager and staff for a perfectly stay 🙏 👌

Where do I start. This hotel is a super hotel, from the entrance, the smell,the staff and the rooms to the food and drinks. Everything is clean and super aesthetically pleasing. The airco also works super in the rooms, which are clean and big. The room has great features so it is super cool to check out what’s there. We spent most of our days on the rooftop, the amenities are worth it. They serve good cocktails with a great view. It is a super hotel to relax and just feel like a queen/king at it. Also you are close to the heart of Asian Turkiye, so the food around the hotel is great,because you have a lot of cute bars and restaurants and also little stores. The placement is also great you can easily take the metro or boat to go towards the touristic spots on the European side. Last but not least, they have a big gym and the sauna and the turkish sauna are definitely worth the visit. I would definitely come back! Worth your money and stay double!
