Marriott Executive Apartments Brussels

Overall very comfortable.

The hotel was not able to see our payment made online through Booking.com. At the moment of check-out we were asked to pay the bill in full. We had to show receipts from both Booking.com and PayPal. Still the hotel insisted that payment was not made. Then the manager came and finally confirmed visibility of our payment. No one ever apologised for this.

Whole apartment experience was good as was the use of the hotel pool and the close proximity to shops and restraunts Also, though some distance, the apartment was in walking distance of the city centre too.

Some attention to detail, ie Three of us staying in the apartment and only bed linen provided for two, we had to ask for sheets and a duvet for the third person. The noise from the building work on the main hotel couldn't be helped, that was undestandable, but not at ten o'clock at night and had been persistent since 5pm.

Lovely sized apartment with views over city. Basic provisions available - toiletries and basic tea and coffee and washing up items. Very clean and spacious. Bed mattress in main double room a little firm for me! Kitchen small but perfectly functional. Limited coking items but sufficient for a short stay. We combined eating out with self catering and it worked well. The leisure facilities at the hotel were a real bonus.

We requested a couple of additional coffee pods for our third day ( the coffee machine provided is a pod design) but none came 😬

There was a lot of good space and the kitchen was well equipped.

Staff in the spa/pool was quite unhelpful. Pool was in the main hotel and there was not any easy way to get from the apartments to the hotel - the only way is to walk outside which isn't convenient when you want to go to the pool. Also spa facilities were not great - leaky, water buckets, slippery floor and no towels. The restaurant had limited food options - not many choices suitable for small kids and /or vegetarian/ vegan so I wasn't able to have dinner there.

The Apartment was very comfortable and nice. Comfortable beds.

The kitchenette was very outdated. There were 2 glasses and we were 3 people. I let the reception know, and they came with 1 extra glass… We wanted to have a swim in the pool, we couldn’t get towels in the hotel. They said that they couldn’t get us some as it was a Sunday. Not good service. Not possible to get anything to eat at 15:00. Restaurant open at 18:00. The sofa bed was not made. I informed reception twice, and then it was done.

The apartment was perfect for our trip. Comfortable bed. There was a nice pool we could use for free. We were able to walk to many of the sights we were going to from the accomodation.

The apartment is separate to the Hotel, which is where the reception , pool and restaurant/bar is located. We didn't realise this until checking in. There was a bit of confusion on where to go as the Hotel is under a different name , but theyr are the same company. In the end it was fine! But would of been nice to know before hand as it was late at night when checking in,

Great location with easy access to metro, bus and train lines. Spacious apartment, well equipped. Friendly, helpful staff

Dirty dishes from another apartment left in our passageway took multiple reminders and over 24 hours to clear. When my parents had difficulty getting the shared washing machine door and called for help, it took a very long time for someone to attend.

The apartment was located in a safe and quite area of Brussels and very close to main means of transport- Brussels-Luxembourg train station (3 minutes walking), bus station (3-4 minutes walking) and metro station (7 minutes walking), nevertheless in the proximity of the European Parliament. The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, everything you need for cooking (if in need of groceries supply, you can find supermarkets within walking distance) The balcony was facing a nice inner court, very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent for family holidays.

Marriot Apartments were fine, I had to book last minute after SMARTFLATS cancelled my reservation and since booking won't allow reviews there I need to make everybody aware, STAY AWAY FROM SMARTFLATS in Belgium at all costs!

Stay away from SMARTFLATS! Thank you Marriot for saving my day

Excellent location near EU institutions, Luxembourg square with bars and restaurants, easy to walk to Ixelles and train station close by. Nice apartment, quiet. Acces to a gym.

The in-house phone didn't work and it would be nice to install a safe box in the apartment.
