The location is amazing. So happy I stayed in this neighbourhood. Everything is in walking distance. You may see in other reviews that Pierre makes amazing breakfasts to order. Wow! This really helped out with food expenses, but more than that was the conversation with Pierre about the city. He is very knowledgable about local history, arts & culture, current Canadian issues, as well as he will go over a printed map (thank you!) and point out some unique places in town, as well as the museums, and parks. Super helpful, amazing guy.

My visit there for 5 nights was great. Nothing to report other than it's a perfect place to stay there in Ottawa. Hope to return next year actually.

It was an amazing stay - would definitely go back there and recommend! Pierre is a great host. He was very helpful and made what I wanted for breakfast every morning! He knows a lot about his city and can recommend places to visit or activities to do. He dropped me at the train station on my last day which made me save a lot of time. Merci pour tout, Pierre! The B&B is well located in a quiet neighborhood 10 min-walk from restaurants and busy areas. The bathroom was clean; fresh towels and soap were provided. The bed was comfortable.

Pierre and his mother are wanderfull hosts. The house is located on a quiet street. All visited objects are easily accessible within walking distance. The host gave a lot of useful advice on where to go and what to see. The room is extremely clean. I finally slept in a very comfortable bed. The breakfast for me was made by his mom. I felt like I was visiting my grandmother, who pampered me with her delicious meals. I didn't expected so big hospitality.

Nothing. My stay in this place was great. Ottawa is small, but cute city.

Pierre is a wonderful host and very kind and friendly; he went above and beyond. He even helped me to check my car and my tires. The room was clean with great décor/unique decor. The breakfast was delicious. Pierre ensured that we were comfortable and explained to us how to go around in the city. I did not believe the reviews when I booked but it is true. If I will need to go to to Ottawa, I will book it again. Also, it is close (walking) to museums, Parliament building, the river restaurants and pubs.

Pierre, the host, and also his mother, are the friendliest, nicest people you can imagine. The house is old, but very well kept, with an extraordinary air condition - no sound, just smooth coolness. Pierre offers you a great cooked breakfast plus every information about Ottawa and the region you need.

There might have been a(nother) chair in our room and some shelves or something in the bathroom. But that's really nothing. We had the most wonderful time theres.

The location is just perfect, you can basically get everywhere by foot whether its sightseeing spots or the byward market. Still you dont hear any traffic etc. The rooms are comfortable and quite big. Pierre and his mother are very welcoming, they take their time to speak to the guests or give recommendations on what to see, where to go, restaurants,... if needed. The breakfast was also pretty nice, you get many options to pick from.

The property was beautiful, full of character and lovely touches that made us feel at home. The home is spacious and well equipped! The location was absolutely fantastic and Pierre’s knowledge was astounding. He is one of the warmest and friendliest hosts we have the joy of meeting. Breakfast was delicious and our slightly picky dietary requirements posed no obstacle. I would heartily recommend staying here to anybody wanting to enjoy what Ottowa has to offer and if you’re unsure of what to do in the city just ask Pierre!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property

We spent one night at the B&B and absolutely loved it. We booked the room with the private bathroom and can totally recommend it. The room was cosy, very clean, spacious and comfortable! The highlight was breakfast the next morning: the owners make all your wishes come true and we enjoyed omelettes and French Toast as well as good coffee! Everything freshly done for us! The B&B is located right in the center of Ottawa.

Best welcome in weeks of touring USA and Canada. You cannot beat the warmth, generosity, helpfulness and mine of useful information provided by the wonderful host Pierre and his charming mother. Breakfast fresh and superb.Location is brilliant with easy walking to all central attractions and amenities and with free off-road parking too. Not often is a B&B or hotel a truly uplifting experience. Auberge des Arts is just that! Thank you.

This bed and breakfast is perfect for a stay in the center of Ottawa, in a very good and central but at the same time calm and quiet location. The host Pierre is such a nice and welcoming person, who gave us very good recommendations about local sights and activites. The breakfast was very delicious and more than we expected. The room and the bathroom are nice and clean. Would definitely come back again!
