Les Suites Hotel

The property is a convenient location, with great suites that are pet friendly. This is the perfect place to stay in Ottawa, whether with pets or kids, and it offers lots of fantastic features to make travellers comfortable and happy. The staff is especially welcoming and wonderful, even offering treats to our dogs, which is the surest way to ensure the pets are happy! And if the pets are happy, mom’s happy!

There was nothing bad. They even were able to accommodate an extension of our stay with no issues!

The hotel was perfectly located in the center of town right near all the shops and restaurants. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and the staff were happy to help wherever you needed a hand. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious with a full lounge area, and all the facilities you needed. You could park at the front of the hotel to unload your luggage and then take your car to the parking station underneath the hotel. It was literally 3 minutes walk to everything you wanted to do, and the centre of town is so atmospheric in the evening, so it was a lot of fun. The apartment was perfectly clean, the bedding very comfortable and as the rooms were spacious, it was a very comfortable stay.

Hotel was great, but the constant Fire engines going up and down the side street between the tall buildings were annoying as were the car "hoons' going up and down the street around 11pm at night. However, we still had a good sleep there after.

great location, excellent accommodations w/kitchen so we could buy food for meals and not eat out every meal. close to amenities and sightseeing spots. literally minutes to walk to Rideau centre, canal, parliament hill, byword market, shops and restaurants galore! 5 min drive to museums and art galleries.

no parking, pool heater wasn’t working and 1 of 3 elevators was consistently down during our stay. we had to park five minute walk away unless we wanted $30/day at Rideau centre. could have booked a slightly more expensive hotel with included parking and functioning pool and elevators.

The location is perfect. We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite, which is exactly what we needed. It was very clean. Staff was accommodating. Mattresses were comfortable. And we could eat breakfast and snacks in our own place, because of the fridge and microwave. We went shopping at the Rideau Centre and Byward Market, just around the corner. Happy with the extra security in the hotel (for example, room key to use elevator).

Some of the furniture is a bit old and shabby. Night lights need adjusting. Kitchen table is wobbly.

Huge rooms with all the amenities. I was able to cook dinner and do laundry (which I really appreciated since it was near the end of my vacation and nothing was clean). The property was close to the Rideau Centre which has a grocery store and walking distance to ByWard Market with many restaurants and bars.

The parking situation is confusing. Its underground parking but there are two sections and I was in the wrong one.

It was central, reasonably priced and easy to find. the room was a great deal - it was spacious and felt like home away from home!

The room came with a kitchenette however, kitchen amenities seemed a little scant. There we no real “cutting” knives, we had to call down for a baking sheet… Additionally the room came with two towels only, which seems a little odd for two adults over 3 days (especially as women, we require an extra towel to dry our hair). Another reason we booked for access to the hottub and pool and we were notified upon arrival that the pool was cooler and whatnot so if we wanted to really go for a dip, we would need to go to the Mariott… which is a little walk away, in crummy weather.

It was centrally located and walking distance to many of the attractions in Ottawa around the corner to shopping center and wayward market. A safe hotel with great space the suite felt like a home away from home. We had a nice 2 bedroom apartment suite and were surprised by the second full bathroom! The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was clean and equipped with anything you would need.

The parking situation was very inconvenient. We have a truck and they could not accommodate a space for over sized vehicles. We wish they would have specified that ahead of time or on the website. We were told we would have to park it at the Rideau center which is close but very busy and did not feel safe as there are many homeless people seeking shelter in the lot. We had to pay $30 a day and could not go in and out or we would have to pay each time we exited. We also had to make sure we didn't forget anything in the car or we would have to walk over to the Rideau center and go up the four level lot to our vehicle. The other down fall was the pool facilities were the hot tub was out of order and pool water was very cold.

The location was great, both for shopping and walking around. Having Farm Boy for easy meals within easy distance was a bonus. We loved the storage everywhere: the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen. Lots of hangers! The insuite laundry was convenient, as was the dishwasher. The bed was perfect. And it was easy to call down for more towels and other supplies. The place didn't feel small at all.

OMG, that toilet was low. It's a good thing we have functioning knees. We would have loved a handheld shower head in the bathroom. The living room sofa was not at all comfortable. It has had it. Replace!! We had to buy a pan to cook dinners in the oven. The frying pan needs to be replaced. The parking price was steep. There's no point in having a balcony if there's nowhere to sit. The AC could not be adjusted. It was too warm at 22.5C for us.

The facilities are well maintained. The cleaners were exceptional. The location downtown near the UOttawa is a very good business decision. The receptionists were very professional and welcoming. The kitchen design was beautiful. No smelly carpets. Les Suites Hotel was home away from home. I will recommend it for any family bonding experience.

Great location, spacious mostly clean rooms with lots of amenities! Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer was super awesome. and the two bedrooms plus two bathrooms-it was really amazing how big it was. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the personal service.

The hotel seems like it needs a refresh a bit. The hot tub was closed! We choose this particular hotel (and most hotels we stay at) because we want a pool and hot tub and we felt a bit gyped by that. Regarding the cleanliness of the room, it felt great, but then I found a half eaten timbit under a side table-that felt yucky:( Still, we had little kids and I know they stash food so, ‘C’est La vie’. Also, the balcony door was hard to slide and the main bathroom door didn’t lock. So a few things that need attention, but we’re just putting COVID behind us so understandable.
