Hotel Luxe

The whole experience at Luxe Hotel was superb. Firstly, we need to give special credits to the staff of the hotel. Every single person we have spoken to was polite, kind and helpful. From receptionists to the cleaning lady. Secondly, hotel has a private parking which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Thirdly, the location of the hotel is basically around the corner of the main promenade. We would also like to highlight sauna, delicious breakfast and the interior design of the hotel.

Not many things one wouldn't like at the hotel. There were only minor issues we came across, such as unusable USB port on TV (in case you want to watch your own movies, series, etc.), too cold jacuzzi and a few disinfection stands that were empty.

We spent one night in room 303 of the hotel. We would have stayed two days, but it was busy. We returned to the room around 11:30 p.m. and it smelled like sewage. I tried to ventilate, but no success. Around 2 in the morning I found the cause, namely, the stench from the sewage was coming from the floor "siphon". I filled it with water and covered it with wet paper and a trash can. So we fell asleep anyway. Let me also say that I booked a classic double room, but the receptionist gave us a "better" Standard double room. I didn't know why, because we didn't ask her for it. But at night it was clear to me why we got a "better" room. It was upgraded with an authentic sewage smell. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and were blown away by the amazing view of the sea from our room. The room was impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One highlight of our experience was the bathtub with a stunning view of the sea through the transparent glass wall of the bathroom- it was an indulgent and relaxing experience. Additionally, the hotel had a fantastic wellness area and a small fitness room, which we made sure to take advantage of during our stay. Overall, we were so impressed by this hotel that we didn't want to leave.

We stayed for 2 nights but no sea views as picture shown. The room is nice and clean. Bed is so comfy.They provided 2 drinking water bottle at first night and good amenities. Breakfast is yummy, especially bread, and it open until 11 am. ♥️ Staffs is very nice. The hotel locate front of the harbor so it’s easy to visit with boat tour and walk to the old city.👍

There are an air condition in each room but the control is outside. They use mirror between bed and bathroom with curtains which is not inside bathroom. (recommend this room for couples only) A parking lot is 100 m from hotel but different road level. Then drop your bag at the hotel first(beware of other cars because no park space in front of the hotel)

Staff were really friendly and helpful, hotel was immaculately clean with modern decor. Location was great, just a 5 minute stroll to the palace, bars and restaurants, 3 minute walk to the harbour. Room was clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked mini-bar. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice from hot options to cereals, pastries, yogurt and fruit.

More odd than an un-like, the connecting bathroom wall to the room itself was glass, so had a curtain to pull across so you couldn't see your room mate in the bath or on the loo. Curtain was on the room side, so once in the bathroom you had no control of your privacy if you have a prankster partner!

The experience was just perfect! The hotel is perfectly located, close enough to all interesting sites but at the same time in a calm alley. The staff was friendly, welcoming, talkative, and very interactive with us. They always made sure we were comfortable and getting all the facilities we needed. They took the time to discuss with us the the country we were coming from, the purpose of our visit, the plans we made, and they never hesitated to recommend us good restaurants and bars around the city. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and the little extra was the music and the speakers in the rooms.

Location was excellent. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with something for everyone. The room was nice although I found the window from the bathroom to the bedroom a bit odd. This is Luxe in name and nature. If you like luxurious décor and sparkle this is the place for you. Having free secure parking was a bonus.

You cannot park outside the hotel so getting luggage in and out of the hotel is a bit of a hassle, however the location of the hotel makes up for this. Really wish hotels of this standard would serve proper fresh orange juice.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made a difference to our 1st stop in Croatia. I noticed the breakfast staff work hard too - keep checking milk etc were all available at all times, and tried to help the couple in the next table. Good breakfast selection. The hotel is in a great location, central but away from the noisy part. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Cleaners seem unaware to keep the voices down between their own conversation - some customers may prefer to have a lie in. It didn't affect us, though.

Why do you have a window between the bathroom and the bedroom, the curtain for privacy doesn’t fit the window. Main windows have curtains that do not completely fit. Breakfast area far too small, if there were smaller chairs more tables could be accommodated. The reception area is full of departing guests and their luggage, virtually spilling into the breakfast area.

Almost all! It would be nice if there were two chairs on the balcony. The breakfast is not abundant, but it is made of selected products and everything is of very good quality. The staff is amazing! The bed is very comfortable. We will return to this hotel.

It's not about dislike, but about a warning that if you come with a car, first unload your luggage, and then go to the hotel parking lot. Namely, it is a short walk from the parking lot to the hotel, but there are three sets of stairs, so carrying luggage can be a problem for the elderly or those with reduced mobility. The curtains do not manage to close the windows completely, so in the morning some light comes through.
