The curtains could not be be drawn and so daylight was so strong in the room. The bathroom floor was always wet due to how the shower is situated and wet floor towels were left unchanged.

Breakfast Buffet - Fresh & Excellent Location - Convenient. Tram, Bus, Metro is 100m to 250m away. Walking distance to all the city itineraries. Examples 140m - TRAM No 9 to catch a ferry @ West Harbor Terminal 2 to Estonia - Tallin (Day Trip), 140m - TRAM to Kamppi Bus Interchange to catch a Flexi Bus to Porvoo

Room is small but clean

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay, as it demonstrated European breakfast cuisine. Many choices for breakfast, from porridge to cold cuts and cheese, crusty, excellent rustic breads, coffee, teas; the choices just went on and on! Beautiful dinning room views and downtown accessible.

Everything was great! Nothing to complain about. I enjoyed my stay. I have nothing to complain about. Ok, walking up the steps, from where the elevator left me for the 6th floor, but 10 steps, broken up from 4 steps, landing 6 steps.

Hotel Arthur is very centrally located near the University of Helsinki, within walking distance from the city centre and close to a metro stop and the train station. I had a really nice suite with a separate study/tv room and a bedroom. The bathroom was a bit small but well designed and everything worked well. Breakfast was good although I would have appreciated more plant-based options especially for dairy products.

Cannot really think of anything. However, this is a standard hotel, not a luxury place.

The location was quite central, within walking distance to the train and bus stations, restaurants, malls, etc. The building used to be the YMCA which was then renovated but still retained its heritage signs. The included breakfast had lots of choices of cold and hot food including healthy options and they always replenished the items. We almost did not need to have lunch as the breakfast was quite filling. The restaurant was nicely decorated and it was opened to public too. Luggage storage was useful for early arrivals and late departures.

Although clean, some parts of the hotel looked a bit rundown such as carpets, furnitures and linens. An electric kettle was provided in the room with tea, coffee and single use paper cups. Would be better to provide mugs and more supplies of tea and coffee rather than asking guests to go to the receptionist if we need more.

The hotel room and bathroom were both very clean. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and the WiFi was really fast. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The included breakfast offered a large selection and all the food tasted delicious. There was a luggage room to store your luggage prior to check-in or after check-out if needed...

The room was a bit small, but that seemed to be typical for hotel rooms in this region. There was a small set of spiral stairs as soon as you opened the door with no landing. The light switch was at the top of the stairs. It was rather difficult when going up and down with the luggage. In addition, the hallway carpets looked a bit dirty.

The breakfast was better than I expected! The staff was very nice. The room was clean, cozy, and functional. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The entrance and the reception are not very modern or stylish but clean and functional. The location is unbeatable. Overall, this hotel is reasonably priced for what you get, given it is in the heart of Helsinki, Finland. Things are quite expensive in the Nordic countries in general.

As I alluded to above, the entrance and the reception were not modern or stylish. The elevators were classic. But all of these were fully functional. So, there was nothing I did not like about this hotel. The construction just outside started at 6 am, but people start working early in the Nordic countries, so that was kind of normal. I had to wake up at 6 anyway.

Large and comfy room. Quick check-in. Located within easy walking distance of main transport hubs. Lots of choices for breakfast. Kettle in the room and tea bags/coffee available from reception.

Nothing but note the room was not air-conditioned - not usually a problem in a *normal* Helsinki summer. My Helsinki resident friends warned me that the park to the north and the area around the, nearby, main railway station can be a little risky at night. Coming from UK I'm not sure exactly what passes for risky in Helsinki.

The location is great, a 10-min walk to the railway station. The value is very good, as for a very reasonable price you get comfortable beds and pillows, a fairly silent room, and a great breakfast. The room was clean and the temperature & air quality ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit worn (the floor boards had gaps, the wall was flaking, and the hook for the towels was broken). The check-in procedure could be better. Having to fill out a paper form (coming in from the cold, tired, barely able to hold the pencil) is 1950, not 2022. In most hotels, asking for identification is more than enough (especially considering the process was via Booking).

The location was 5-10 mins. walk to the city centre and central train station, staffs were very welcoming and helpful . comfortable bed, room is wuiet, breakfast is plentiful.

Rooms are old and dated, no tea/coffee facilities,we have kettle in the room but have ask the reception for teabags each night, they only give us paper cups with wooden stirrers, our room got clean up once in our 4 night stay and that was our last night.
