Lapland Hotels Bulevardi

We loved the in room sauna. And the room was very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was excellent and provided many local items. Generally, the staff were nice and friendly.

We requested information as to the taxi from the airport, prior to arriving at Helsinki airport. Had a few correspondence on the topic with the staff. We were given a totally wrong information. The hotel staff told us that the there was no fixed rate from the airport to the hotel and that prebooking a taxi would cost us 100 euros. But it turned out that two cab companies offered a fixed price of 35 euros, another 39 euros. Also, we learned that those companies had user friendly applications and the prebooking them and having them come and pick us up at the airport or another location would cost us extra but nothing like what the hotel staff told us prior to our arrival.

We really enjoyed staying at Lapland Hotel Bulevardi. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and I must say this hotel has exceptional service, beautiful food and amazing ambience. We had a private sauna in our room. It was so nice to be able to enjoy it in our own Sauna. Food was sensational with so many specialities from Lapland and of course other parts of Finland too. We don’t often dine in hotels we stay in, but here the food was just so different and well prepared. Additionally this hotel is a short walk from many of the Helsinki atravtions. There were so many staffmembers who went above and beyond to makesure we were happy and well looked after. Just to name a few; Janne and the girls at the front desk(sorry didn’t get everyone’s names), Adam,Mika and Johanna looked after in dining room and breakfast staff in dining room. We were totally blown away witn their service and friendly manner.10/10 from us

The location was perfect. The staff was amazing and so kind and attentive. The sauna in the room was fantastic. The breakfast spread had many options suitable for all diet requirements. The hotel experience was one of the best in Europe. The center is a walk away. The area it’s located in has many options for food and a Kmart near by.

The one thing that could improve would have to be the bed, it’s time for new beds otherwise the entire stay makes up for it. If you’re not use to drinking tap water, you need to get your own water otherwise still amazing staff and hotel

Very cool concept that's upheld throughout the entire hotel. The room was cozy, although the twin beds were a bit small. Big bathroom and cozy interior in the room. Good location, the tram 6 takes you directly to the hotel from the main station and the rest of the city is very walkable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Lovely little design shops in the area surrounding the hotel. The standout is the breakfast, with local specialities and a huge assortment of very tasty options.

The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey and we had better finnish food at another restaurant in the city. Wouldn't necessarily recommend having dinner there. This is my personal opinion only, but the constant folk music that's playing in all the common rooms of the hotel and in the restaurant got a bit bothersome over time. I'd have loved some quiet areas or more of a spa vibe to really relax.

Good location, about 10min walk to everywhere in the centre. Not too loud during nights. Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel- room had warm, darker colours, very nice bathroom / sauna. Comfortable bed. Hotels restaurant was very good (we had the tasting menu and loved it) and bar is serving excellent cocktails. The best part of the stay was breakfast - it was probably the best hotel breakfast I have had. Not over-the-top huge selection but quality/taste/texture of each served ingredient was amazing.

A lot of reindeer skins and horns used in interior design (probably this is not necessarily everyones cup of tea) . To us everything was near perfect and we definitely will visit again!

The location is perfect to explore Helsinki - central and also on a street with street cars that can take you all over the city inexpensively in 5 to 10 mins. The rooms are incredibly luxurious, we had a sauna room on the 5th floor and it was one of the very best rooms I have stayed in. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely incredible - a brilliant selection of very high quality local produce as well as international options. The staff are all very friendly.

There were times when the bar staff were not very attentive or receptive and they seemed confused as to whether it was table service or bar service and also on several occassions it seemed they had been told to ensure that people dining in the restaurant were served their drinks as a priority - a strange idea given we dined in the restaurant every eve too.

From the moment we arrived, our stay was thougherly enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We got a free room upgrade too when we arrived. Our room was just beautiful, very clean and tidy. We enjoyed using the sauna to warm up after a cold day out of sightseeing. The breakfast caters to everyone. I myself have a dairy allergy, and there was such a range of different foods I could have. We also ate in the restaurant twice. The food is worth the price, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the food served too. The hotel is in such a perfect location. We walked everywhere around Helsinki. The lady at reception gave us a map with lots of ideas on what to see while we were there. Also very close to the ferry port (30 mins walk) if you want to visit other countries, we went to Estonia for the day. We highly recommend this hotel, it is so beautiful and the staff made it such a pleasure to stay. If we come back to Helsinki, we will stay again, and I will be recommending to everyone I know about this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful 4 nights away in snowy Finland 🇫🇮💙

1. Very beautiful and spacious room with a French balcony and a sauna (inside the bathroom). 2. Very good breakfast room, which provided sugar-free cookie. They also provided gluten free bread, and a toaster which can only be used with the gluten free bread. It shows how much they care about people. 3. Excellent staff. We arrived by Santa Express in the morning. The staff told us that the room is ready and we don't need to wait until the official check in time. 4. Excellent staff SARI. She helped us to call different ski schools to book a plan for our 2 yo toddler. She also helped us to get bus and train tickets, and printed the schedule for us. She is amazing! 5. Gym. It's not big but the dumbbells in are made from rocks (see the pictures).

When we returned to the hotel to get our luggage to the airport, we waited in a place where I think was a lobby. A waiter asked if we needed any drinks. We said no as we had dinner already. We also told him that we were waiting for the taxi. My 2 yo at that time took off her snow boots and ran around with her socks. The waiter told us that there would be broken glass on the floor and asked us to keep her shoes on. He's kind of rude and didn't seem understand how a 2 yo would behave. A parent would love to have a kid sitting down and listening to us, but kid does not behave this way. Anyways, I don't want this spoil our impression to the hotel. It's an awesome hotel which I will definitely go again.

good location. the staff are responsive to complains and overall good service. Breakfast is good

The hotel is mentioned and priced as a five star hotel while in reality it isn’t a five star hotel . it is four stars. it is really misleading and fraudulent to market the hotel in booking.com and on their own website as a five star hotel and discover that it isn’t upon arrival. Because I paid the rate of a five star hotel, I really believe it isn’t a good value for money. The hotel layout in general, it is dark, not well lit and it lakes the luxury of a 5-stars. in order to compensate for this management upgraded my room to a suite.

The Lapland Hotel was a great recommendation I found on someone's travel blog. The staff was very helpful checking us in, making sure we had parking, booking us a restaurant and the bartender even gave me a list of a bunch of different types of places to go in Helsinki (which we took advantage of). The rooms are small but very well appointed. Shower was good. The breakfast was outstanding. The restaurant looked good too although we did not do dinner there. Overall, I would stay there again next time in Helsinki.

The bed could have been a little comfier and the pillows better, but I found that to be a thing throughout Finland, not just Lapland, so not a knock against Lapland.
