Hotel Europa

Hotel staff was very helpful and exceptionally nice. Very convenient location in the city centre. Room was very clean and being cleaned every day.

A bit noisy from the street because we needed to have window open due to heat but we stayed only two nights so it didn't bother us much. Minor maintenance issues in the bathroom: doors didn't lock and shower was a bit leaking but that also wasn't too bad.

Close to public transport, bars, restaurants and grocery shops. Other reviews mentioned outdated fittings and furnishings but they must have updated the place since then because my room had a modern bathroom and seating /desk area.

Value for money is the best description of my stay at Hotel Europa, Bonn. The hotel is perfectly located only 600 meters from the main railway station. You can easily walk the distance or take a tram. The hotel is also located just on the outskirts of the old town, the city centre of Bonn, with a lot of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. The price is low for staying at this clean and tidy hotel with a god breakfast served at a reasonable cost as well. The room was small with a minimum furnishing of one wardrobe, a small work bench, a TV and a comfortable bed. But what more can you expect for a low cost? The bathroom was small as well, but had practical furnishing with toilet, shower, wash basin and hair dryer. The only complaint could be that the wash basin was a bit too small for me to easily do my shaving in the morning, and that an hotel without its own restaurant should have provided the room with a bottle of water for late arriving guests. On the other hand, when contacting the front desk, a bottle of water was immediately and kindly provided free of charge. The staff was service minded and friendly.

We arrived very late to the hotel. The staff was kind,professional and helpful. Our room was clean, a good size. Although the room Is basic and has everything you need for a stay, I would say it's better and cleaner than pricier hotels we've stayed in. Kudos to the staff. They were very welcoming. Highly recommend Europa Hotel.

The location is perfect, it is very close to the bloom street, only needs 2 mins by walking. Breakfast is also delicious with many kinds of food. There is one wonderful Chinese restaurant, which is very important to a Chinese.

The soundproofing is not very well, I can clearly hear the sound from the bathroom of the next room, also the sound from the corridor. The air changing in the bathroom is not very fluent.

We arrived way to early, but could store our luggare there until our room was ready, which was really nice, and the staff was extraordinarily friendly! The rooms are minimalistic, but have everything you need. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station and the city centre. All in all it was a great stay for a great price.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, actually just 100 meters from Christmas market, very short walking distance to city center, train/metro staions. The staff are very friendly. And they keep the room clean everyday. Highly recommend for short stays.

The room is very compact, sometime can hear the noise from outside. The room is without any kitchen equipment (cannot make tea or coffee).

The hotel had a lift, which I now find invaluable. Breakfast was varied and ample. The fact that the S-bahn stops very close to the hotel entrance.

When I stayed there a few years ago they did breakfast included, but now they don't.

Friendly staff and clean room.

I chose this hotel because Tram station ‘ Stadthaus’ is pretty close to the hotel. But U66 doesn’t run between Bonn hbf and Siegburg, I should’ve stayed near Bonn hbf station instead.

The room was very hot (30 degrees outside) although thankfully there was a fan which made the temperature in the room tolerable
