They charged us 4.50 euros for warming the baby's food in a microwave!

Breakfast was great, pool fantastic, room comfortable, easy to get to the UN complex (for meeting). Your staff are exemplary--they were very helpful with some problems. And the WiFi was great.

You have lots of meat at the breakfast--how about some veggie sausages, or other veggie products? Also, the pool is lovely, but it is unsupervised, with parents bringing young children and not necessarily supervising them (should be someone there, or some signage). Also, although your staff are great, they really never gave us clear info on how to get to the nearby park, or other sites (there are no good maps at the desk), and it was a bit confusing. Also, your dinner menu could be more "vegetarian friendly".

Excellent location close to bus and light train. Quiet neighborhood, great facilities. Excellent restaurant and cafeteria. Standard room was cozy and adequate. Excellent bathroom facilities and the shower was very modern, there's adequate closet space and drawers, adequate TV set and mini bar. The cleaning and maintenance team was extremely friendly and forthcoming.

Hotel looks a little dated, needs more renos. Shower didn't have a good heat sensor, it would shift from cold to hot during use. Reception staff was not very friendly. I had asked in advance for a room with a nice view and the person in charge of my check- in gave me a view of solar panels. Only after I complained she moved me to a room with a view, so evidently there was availability of rooms with a view from the start. All reception team needs better training in customer service and friendliness.

The breakfast was very healthy. The staff were very co-operative to our surprise. Surprise since many back in India had mentioned about not so good service in Germany. But this was proved wrong by Maritim staff. There were very service oriented. Also there was a fire alarm in middle of night. It appears disturbing but the way the staff handled the situation was very pleasant. They made us feel secure.

May be the water bottles could have been provided more for free. We stayed there for 6 days and only on first day we received complimentary water bottle. Should have been better if everyday there was 2-3 water bottle provided for complimentary.

Hotel has plenty of space to sit down with friends or big familie,business meeting. decent lounge area. Great design. Enough choices of rooms ranging from small to suites. Your keyroom card, when scanned, bring you to your own floor. And the seperate elevators for the welness is a big +

we had a massage in the hotel for 30mins. They waited 5 minutes before star and ended like5minutes so basically a massage for 20mins. All honesty, i never paid for massages but i did expect better. This was more of hands sliding down your body with oil for 20mins, no pushing or relaxing the muscles sadly. So dont have your massage there, there are other choices in the city center. The gym had to be the worst part of the hotel. Makes me think that they literally just made a small room for a gym with 1machine (yes only 1) for the muscles and 2 cardio machines just to get an extra star?

Lovely spacious room. Very clean and regularly serviced. The addition of a fridge was great. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and it was a pleasure to walk around. Glass and mirrors were clean. Lifts were very briskly where you needed them and a special lift took you to right outside the pool. Food choices were very good with a selection of restaurants open at different times and a robot waiter (my granddaughter loved it!), the rotisserie restaurant was very well organised and ran like clockwork, even on busy mornings. There was a huge selection of foods and specialties of the area were also available. We stayed much longer than most of the guests and staff were so kind and friendly towards us - mainly because we popped up every morning for 12 days! Mr Jaballah was attentive to what was happening in the restaurant and constantly checked on food, cleanliness. Nothing escaped him. I was so impressed. I would stay at the Maritim again and would recommend the hotel for the convenience of the location, proximity to trams and buses and superb standards. I was with my family for a very special gathering to celebrate birthdays, half of us live in the UK and the other half live in Bonn, so it was an important time for us. We could not have felt more special. The staff were lovely people - so polite and very helpful. Thank you Maritim.

To be honest, if there had been anything I didn’t like, I wouldn’t have said I would go back again. No problems at all.

We enjoyed a family reunion before Christmas 2022. A group of 21 people in 8 rooms and suites. We last stayed in the hotel 27 years ago and we're pleased that it had not lost its character and the service was as we remembered. The superb breakfast buffet was a highlight for everyone. All the rooms were very clean and the housekeeping excellent. The location is not central city but the tram line has direct access to trams for Bonn and Cologne. The staff could not have been more helpful especially Hannah Kohr who organised our catering needs.

The Maritim is a large hotel with conference facilities, this suited us but might not satisfy someone looking for more bijou accommodation . The corridors are long and our rooms were not close together so we got some indoor exercise in minus 8 degree celsius outside temperatures! Our only real complaint concerned a smell of drains coming from the sink drain. After two nights we decided that it was not acceptable and complained. We were immediately moved to an upgraded suite with no questions, well done!

Really nice room - very spacious. The breakfast was great in terms of being a lot there. The swimming pool was really nice too. The reception staff and breakfast room staff were very nice. The tea options were lovely.

I wish there had been more vegetarian options though at breakfast. Also as the breakfast was an additional costing within the booking, unfortunately early flights meant I couldn't make use of it on the Saturday despite it already paid for as we had to leave before 6.30am. I did query about getting something packed up to take as that breakfast was paid for but that would have been additional cost. Also I hadn't factored in the tourist tax payments, so do remember those. I wish that had been clearer.

The reception team provided an outstanding service from guidance on directions to the hotel, to placing a parcel in my room, an urgent order. The dining area and the staff (multi-national/lingual) were equally outstanding. Nothing was an issue. Although I never requested an omelette (as an example) - the Chef offered every filling possible and it was zero effort. The quality and range of items for breakfast were outstanding. As was the presentation and cleanliness. Refill on your coffee? More breakfast maybe? Not a problem! The quality of the food was also outstanding and was maintained for the full eight days I was there.

You only discover this once you have registered at the hotel, but there is an alternative entrance to the main entrance. If you have been walking to the hotel, it does save your legs! Perhaps a 'Patrons Only' sign could be made available to potential guests. Otherwise - I cannot fault the venue.

Rooms are big and clean. The pool and spa were clean though a little crowded. There is not a lot of places near the hotel though there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel. The restaurant was excellent with fast service. Mini fridge in room. There is garage parking under the hotel for €20 or €25/night (cant remember exactly) or there is a free parking lot out front.

There wasn't a kettle in the room. Breakfast was pretty expensive. Tried to grab a drink at the bar though after waiting a while for service, I just decided to leave.
