Relais & Châteaux Bülow Palais

The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted you with a smiley. They were helpful & communicated well. Every staff member there made you feel comfortable. The location was great as you have easy access to the neustadt and aldstadt. The alstadt is just a 15 min walk over a beautiful bridge which was not a problem for me.

There are small lights on each of the light switches in the bedroom. If you're sensitive to light when you sleep, this can be a little distracting. There is also no coffee/tea or kettle in the bedroom which means you have to order tea or coffee from the hotel which costs extra money. It would be great to have a little hot drink station like you have in other hotels.

I knew when I booked that the hotel was some distance from the old town of Dresden, and it was. It's easy to call a taxi to go TO the old town, but not so easy to get one for the trip back. So more walking back than I wanted. But I liked the hotel enough to use it again, even with this slight complication.

Interior design is nice. Underground parking. Small fitness room. Decent SPA area.

The room I got didn’t match the description or the photo. The “large double bed” was queen size and wouldn’t have fit two people. There was no “armchair”. The room was small, definitely less than 26sq.m. (as per booking description). I hardly found space to put luggage. There were almost no vegan options for breakfast. The service staff offered me “artichoke salad” which had wurst in it.

It was absolutely perfect, the hotel interior is stunning, the staff were kind and gnerous. They greeted us with warm drinks, valeted the car, and made sure we were well taken care of the entrire. It was a truly VIP first class experience. Breakfast and dinner were Michelin worthy.

Our stay was too short so I didnt get to try the spa, but it looked very inviting and soothing!

Beautiful charming luxury boutique hotel located in a very quite but lovely old part of the town. Relais et Chateaux quality. Pick up of car and ready for departure in front of front door after. Personnel very attentive, profesional and capable. Speaking languages.

Maybe a bit oldish style kitsch things in the common areas. Like the display of product on sale felt like Queen Victoria era thing.

Every member of staff I talked to were really helpful and attentive, we also like the location because it's not directly in the middle of the busy area hence it is quiet, but it is close to everything we wanted to see. And I was pleasantly surprised that the dinner was very delicious! Would definitely stay here again :)

Great localisation. It is the new town, but in a place that survived the war. It is a better place to stay than the old, crowded town. Secondly, especially kindfull staff. I had never been to a hotel where I was so cared for ;) Beautiful building, furnitures etc.

I have two minor things that for me could be better. When I book 5-stars hotel I appreciate: 1) a free craft liquor in the room, 2) TV with YouTube or Netflix

Exceptional service, luxurious surroundings, special extra touches (e.g. room made up TWICE each day), wonderful bar with great cocktails, cigar lounge a very pleasant addition. Superb breakfast.

we had a junior suite. The room was superb, clean, and cosy. The staff were fantastic; professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us and assist. All the staff spoke English and were there when required. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Dresden.

Fine luxury hotel in the new town of Dresden, walking distance to all famous sites but away from the crowds and noises, fantastic location! Very cozy and classy decoration in the room, spacious living area and bathroom, separate toilet. Beds are very comfortable, also extra beds for kids. Beautiful building with fine interior. There are good option of restaurants near the hotel. The curtains don’t close aroud the window tight, so eye maskes are recommended if you don’t want to be waken by early morning light 😊. We’d love to stay here again!
