Hotel Indigo Dresden - Wettiner Platz, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was really really good, we originally weren’t planning on eating there and only asked for 1 day. We ended up eating there every day. Really close to the S Bahn, trams, buses and trains. Beautiful surroundings, we actually returned later because we loved it so much. Staff was amazing and super helpful even when my flight was delayed at 4am in the morning. Like seriously so kind. Also as a plus, quite a few of the hotel staff also spoke Spanish when I was there which was a pleasant surprise.

The shower had a half door so even if your careful you'd still soak the bathroom floor, also the rooms are a bit small, but overall I loved it. Between the staff, amenities, location and food I'd still happily return.

The whole hotel is modern and stylishly decorated. The room was a good size with plenty of seating. The bed was firm and extremely comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very professional.

We received a voucher for free drink at the hotel's bar in exchange for skipping a day's housekeeping which is a great way to promote eco-friendly hotel stays. However, if you charge the drinks to your room, you can't use the voucher when you check out. This wasn't made very clear but you can only use the voucher at the bar at the time of ordering the drink. The staff were apologetic and handled the misunderstanding very professionally.

Great pleace. Aside of crowded turistic cicty center. Walking distance to Zwieger. New hotel with very pleasent atmosphere. Quality of food

One dilusional staff member coordinating guest during breakfast who didnt allow us to sit in the table of our choice telling us that hotel is full of families and banned us even if it was 8am and there was only a few guests on the breakfast. When we were leaving 70% of tables was still empty. That spoiled our impression of this hotel. But over all the hotel and other stuff members was perfect nice and pleasent

Good new 4 stars hotel but my room was a bit small to be a 4 stars, but the bathroom was good. They have fridge and kettle with tea bags. The area is a mixture of residential and commerce. We didn´t try the breakfast because in our opinion it was very expensive, 21 euros. The price of the room is not cheaper, so I think that breakfast could come inside the hotel price. We were two, so the breakfast was nearly 40% of the price of the room!!!. Anyway, there is a bakery in the corner where you can eat much cheaper. The hotel is very central and you can walk to the main attractions. The reception was very helpful specially Jens who was very kind and help us with a lot of information and Celina with a smile in her face. They are the right people to attend tourists, we thanks them. It was my birthday and they offer us a glass of wine and a card with chocolats. Very touching....The parking is expensive, but there are plenty of space in the street in front of the hotel and nearby and cost you 6 euros per 24 hours using the parking meter. They have English channels. There is a good Italian restaurant 2 blocks from the hotel called: Grazie Mille, with good food and price. If I return to Dresdem I would stay there again.

Parking and breakfast prices.

The room was comfortable and silent, with an impressive view on the down town. Late check-in was possible and went professionally, smooth and well. Hotel team are friendly, international and highly professional. Attitude is top! Beds were soft and cosy. Room size was sufficient to fit two people and feel free. Travelling with an adventurous teenager, who discovers facilities and experiences services, it was very important to stay in the modern, well equipped, stylish hotel, which Hotel Indigo Dresden definitely is! Safe and convenient, centrally located and amazing from interior and quality. When thinking of next trip to Dresden, we will choose this hotel again! Thank You very much for pleasant experience.

Am a regular here and it's a no-brainer for me when it comes to choosing a stay at Dresden it's always this hotel. Perfect location, quiet, 15 minutes walk from the center. The rooms are super clean, the bed is comfortable. I get the best sleep here. The staff are lovely and very friendly. They always give a discount for parking. This time I came with a puppy and they were so lovely with him. They even prepared dog plates for water and some dog snacks in the room.

Modern, comfortable and clean. Contemporary interior design. Good parking in the basement, large spaces and well lit. The hotel has a section of the car park (34 spaces) immediately at the bottom of the entrance ramp. If this is full then parking on the street is possible (anx much cheaper) on the quiet street in front of the hotel. The location is very good about 10 minutes walk to the old town and city centre. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a small range of bar snacks/meals eg pizza.

- Breakfast was very nice. Simple, tasty and of very good quality. - Room was cozy and has everything you need. - Location is very close to the main attractions of Dresden. Walking distance to all what you need with access to the tram from every angle. - Staff at reception, housekeeping and restaurant are very polite and helpful.

The fitness room is very poor.

Slightly quirky hotel but very comfortable and excellent staff. For us although a little out of centre, it was quiet and easy to get to the centre either on foot or by public transport. Bar staff were excellent and good choice of breakfast. During our visit my wife had a fall at a tram station, the staff were excellent providing ice, support, etc. Nothing was too much trouble.

Welcoming, helpful staff. Nice view, and quiet. Room was very clean and our request for 2 rooms close to each other was honored. Breakfast was delicious--varied buffet with the option to order omelets, etc. Location is also good--about a five minute walk to the historic center of the town.

The room with queen bed was small. We had to squeeze by each other to get from one side of the bed to the other.
