Hotel Am Terrassenufer

A good price for a reasonable hotel; the building is not striking but the interior is well renovated, and the view to the city was adding a lot of value! Also the location is not perfect, but the city center with all the attractions is only a few minutes walk away.

The payment was unclear and complicated, but that was partly caused by myself, due to a last minute change of arrival and departure date, which spoiled communication.

Big room, lifts, fan in room, windows could be opened. Good location to old city only...not main train Station coat 10 EU by taxi to get there.

A little far from the main train station but near the old city. No kettle or fridge in room. I think staff were helpful but could be better if they tried to converse with client. Sometimes people travel alone and appreciate a good conversation

Basically the hotel is not bad for this price. But this hotel is only for the elderly.

The only thing I would like to pay attention to is the quality of cleaning. in the room near the WC stank of urine, which we only discovered in the evening, since we had not used the bathroom since the check-in and there was no longer a desire to request a room replacement.

The view!!! Oh what a wonderful view from the 11th floor overlooking the city and especially the church. It surely was a wonderful room, very spacious and comfortable. The hospitality was great. I had to check out of a hotel because of no Wifi in the room and requested Hotel Am Terrassenufer if I was able to check in very early, and they agreed and hosted me immediately. The behaviour was really good by the manager unlike the previous hotel. Overall very pleasant and would recommended

It was clean, everything was working properly in a room. The location was super good, 5 minutes walk from the very old city center. Despite the check-in time is 15:00, our room was ready by 13:30, just when we arrived, what was super comfy.

We booked a room with two beds, and I registered it on my name, but while checking-in we were told to pay additional fee for one person. After years of traveling this was the first time I’ve heard about payment per people, not per room. There were other good options in the city, so we were choosing by the price, and were disappointed at the reception to find it out.

The hotel looks unprepossessing when first seen (large and modern) but the rooms are large and comfortable with large windows ( many have great views over the old town skyline and the Elbe) and it is a short walk to all the most interesting sights.

Breakfasts were not that good and quite expensive €17

The room was spacious and the hotel was in a good location close to the old town but in a quieter street. The staff were helpful.

The room was quite warm in summer without any air conditioning and it was not possible to open the window for long without insects entering the room.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. On both occasions the staff was very accommodating to ,locate me on a high floor with a view over the Elbe and the historic Old Town. The rooms are large and comfortable. I did not partake in breakfast during my most recent stay, but, it was very good on my first visit in 2018.

I cannot think of anything in particular that I disliked.

Inconspicuous hotel right next to the Dresden Old Town. Looks like a block of flats, but inside there are spacious renovated rooms, really good breakfest with a variety to chose from and most importantly - its location is terrific. Well recommended!

I loved how spacious it was and its location. I chose this hotel for its panoramic view at the city, and it did not disappoint:)

Furniture and design reminded me of luxurious Soviet apartments, I'm not a fan of that style:) But it's not a big deal, it was an interesting experience cause it felt a bit like I'm in GDR:)
