Amedia Plaza Dresden, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The location was so convenient for touring about. There was a festival going on while we were there so plenty of people, music, booths, drinking and food was available to experience. The music went on rather late, past 12 but was dampened by the noise reducing windows.

The festival blocked access to the streets, so instead of a taxi, we had to walk (albeit not far) to the nearest street where we could either take a tram to the train station (directions provided by front desk) or find a taxi. We ended up taking trams to the train station and it was easier than expected. Also there is a heat wave in Germany in August so not the hotel's fault that walking about mid-day was a sweat-fest. It did not stop the Germans from having a good time so we managed.

This is a nice, very clean, very modern hotel in a quiet street just off the main historic square - so, very well located at the confluence of the old town and the more modern part of Dresden. The tram to and from the main train station is a 5 minute walk away. They have made an effort to give a straighforward hotel some character. My room was quite spacious and very quiet. Bathroom was large. Staff were very nice and helpful. My door key didn't work at check-in so they quickly gave me a new and bigger room to compensate. A large breakfast buffet is served in the Vapiano chain restaurant next door. After we checked out, they let us leave our bags in one of the offices until we were ready to leave late in the afternoon. This is a very nice place to stay.

Nothing to complain about at all. All good. But if you want to stay somehwere with some of the character of old Dresden, this is not the place.

The location was perfect for our favourite Christmas market out the front plaza! We also walked to all of the other markets as well, and this location was clean, quiet, safe and easy for breaks throughout the day. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel (and be warned that it's not an early-bird town for early coffee!) Getting in and out and around was all easy, the room very comfortable. Staff were helpful to get us restocked with fresh towels.

It didn't impact us, but there isn't 24hr desk service and there was an alternate door. We are up early and to bed early so we always had use of the main door.

Excellent room and excellent hotel, which is located on the central square of Dresden, in its very historical center. Special thanks to the guys from the reception, I have not seen such attention to guests for a long time! We were even given the opportunity to look at other options for available rooms and choose the one that we liked more. Very fast check-in. The room is very spacious, the bathroom is large and comfortable, the toilet room is separate from the bathroom in the same room. The room has a coffee machine and capsules for making coffee, which is very convenient and cheap (the cost of 1 capsule is 1 euro). Comfortable bed, clean linen and comfortable pillows. Nicely decorated room with new furniture, clean. Bathrobe and slippers are provided without any problems upon request from the reception manager. Decent room at an adequate price and in the historical center of Dresden. My friends and I were satisfied with our stay there! Thank you hotel staff and good luck!

Can add toiletries to the bathroom

- The room was really quiet. - The cleaners do a great job as every place in the hotel is very clean. - Super comfortable beds, beautiful modern bathroom. - Good and large breakfast choices. - Excellent central location.

- Staff at breakfast time was not very helpful and do not understand English. I was refused service for asking a decaf'! - Decoration of the lobby is very tacky, I would not want to bring my small children in there. Please change the paintings. Hopefully this is only a temporary exhibition. - Hotel closes at 11:00 pm. - Coffee machine in the room but you have to pay for it.

Excellent location made my short trip very enjoyable.All the main tourist locations were in close vicinity of the hotel. Also restaurants and cafes were right there in the square, which made it so convenient. The room was bright, clean and airy,. The reception staff were very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend Amedia Plaza for a visit to Dresden.

the property is new and in excellent condition. The rooms are very functional, spacious, nicely designed. comfortable bed. great value for money considering the location is right in the heart of the main tourist attractions

not applicable. the whole experience was just one smooth journey from check in to departure. friendly and efficient staff at the reception. the fact that there is no one at the reception after 11.30 pm is a minor deficit. I should have paid better attention where the night entrance is, I did a full circle round the building until I found it.

The location is simply perfect. Breakfast is good however is being served at the Vapiano Restaurant, so the space smells like Food!

The pillows! There were only soft pillows in room. For someone with Neck problem this is really bad. It wold have been nice to had a ´hard pillow as an extra in the closet for example. There is coffee machine in the room but you have to pay for the coffee! I found this very strange.

There are not really negative points, just recommendations - One big mattress for the big bed and not two small ones. Even if you do not really fill the hole inbetween (they are well-positioned) those two mattresses, it would be better - breakfast for less than 17€ par person would be better, we consider this price as too high

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, in close vicinity to all the sites in the old city, as well as an S bahn direct to the Sächsische Schweiz. Within reach of eateries for breakfast, lunch and dinner ( breakfast at the hotel was too expensive). Would stay here again.

Not too bad, but there is some noise from the nearby square at night, so be prepared for that
