Arena Villa am Wasserpark

We liked the location, near the US Consulate, where we had business to attend to. The access to the trains and buses were great. The handicapped facilities helped me tremendously. The noise control was superb. The breakfast option was good. The front desk staff were very helpful.

The room size was not much larger than the bed. The bed comfort was good but a bit hard for me. The breakfast choices need to be altered about every 3rd day.

The location and the price is good and there are free parkings at the street behind the hotel available. Right in front of the hotel there is a McDonald’s which is 23 hours open. The whole experience was good and it is worth the money. The staff are also friendly and you can even check in with an Automat available in the backyard. Don’t forget that if you visit Frankfurt, you should pay a tourist tax which is currently €2 per person. I paid that at the checkout.

Unfortunately, the blankets and pillows were not really comfortable and if you sleep at the street side, you hear the cars at night.

Did I like the gated parking? Yes! Did I like the air conditioning? Yes! Did I sleep like a baby on the clean, nice bed? Yes! But the best part of our stay at the Arena Villa was Frank, the desk clerk! He was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He answered all my questions in a professional and friendly manner. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and honestly, I have been thinking about how nice he was for the last two days. The next morning, I was sure to ask the other man (also nice) at the front desk who the man who was working the night before was. I wanted to be sure to get his names so I could include it in my review! Frank is the best!

Nothing. It was absolutely fine, especially for how much I paid!

I booked this room because I needed to be able to get to the US Embassy by 7am. It was definitely worth it. It's only 10 minutes walk around the corner to the embassy. There was a pretty straightforward late-night check-in process. The facility felt safe/secure. It was very close to a tram stop, and it had a breakfast option (though I didn't take this). There wasn't a lot in the immediate area, but that wasn't why I was staying there. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and had a really nice bathroom. The room was also really quiet.

Everything met my expectations and needs.

The beds were very confortable and the room was very quiet. It is right next to the McDonalds, so getting a snack is really easy. It's easy to find free parking very close to the hotel.

I booked a room with a kitchen area because I was travelling with kids. I would have liked to know in detail which kitchen utensils and devices were available. For example, I expected a toaster and a coffee maker to be available, but they were not. The kitchen came with a really good small induction stove, a nice small refrigerator and some crockery and cuttlery. All in all, enough to warm some milk and butter some bread to prevent major meltdowns in the morning :).

very nice people work there, helpful but not annoying. Clean and nice rooms with a minimum basic facilities (we had economy, so I assume there are more facilities in more expensive suits), cleaning every day. The closest hotel to US embassy, nice park across the street, multiple supermarkets all around, mcDonalds also next building. Relatively close to the centre (20-30 min walk or 4-ish tram stops). Breakfasts can be ordered.

our room was very small with a very small window as well. there is no AC, only fan, but it was really hot. But since it was the cheapest room, it is actually expected

The hotel itself is very nice and clean, the personal was great and very helpful. As a Ukrainian, I was delighted and pleased to speak native language at the reception :) The room was convenient and had a perfect price/quality correlation. The USA Embassy is about 8 minutes to go, which makes the location really great for the ones intending to visit it.

One small issue is that it was a bit noisy, as the hotel is close to the road. However, we had earplugs in our room, which was super-sweet!

The room was large, with large bed and clean bathroom. Like many others reviews already mentioned, this hotel is very practical for people who have appointement at the US consulate. We didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that.

We found hair in the bed when we arrived, which doesn't feel very professionnal. The rest of the room looked cleaned though. Our room was in front of the elevator which is extremely noisy and makes a weird sharp sounds when going down. So from 6am we could hear it a lot. The location is quite off-center. But it is accessible by tram.

Great value for money, 24/7 check-in possibility with the help of the machine in front of the entrance. I personally find it a super helpful feature, especially when one arrives late due to a flight delay and doesn't have to worry about the hotel working hours, also helpful for the everyone who doesn't speak English or German well. The room was really spacious and very clean, especially the bathroom. There was enough light in the room and a lot of possibilities to set up it in the most convenient way. The staff is friendly and very helpful, really welcoming. The breakfast is good and the variety is well enough. The location itself is nearly perfect if you plan a visit to the U.S. consulate which is located literally around the corner. And the city centre is reachable within the walking distance or by public transport - tram station in front of the hotel. Thanks a lot to the whole team, my partner and I really enjoyed our stay!
