Hotel Deutsches Theater

Renovated room #23. Lift access. Noisy with window open as a busy area, but quiet double glazed when shut. Good blackout curtains. Great location for an early morning train from Munich Hbf just 6-7 minute walk. Clean room friendly staff. Facilitated an early check-in. Central location so easy access to Munich public transport & plenty of restaurants, supermarkets etc.

An older style hotel no A/C so if it had been hotter (only 23 when we stayed) then open windows would have been noisy. Beds were a bit soft for us, but that's a personal preference. No fridge, but not unusual older style German hotels.

the hotel was very close to the city center and the central train station. the communication with the staff was alright. we stayed in Munich for less than 24h, so there was not much room for error.

the only thing was the amount mice in the street at night, we were returning to the hotel around 12am and there were mice running everywhere. i did not see any at the hotel only in the street.

The room was really clean and as there is not a lot of room on each floor, it's very quiet in the hotel. It's near every touristic place and I was able to visit the city by foot.

I didn't really like the neighborhood, not saying that it was but as a solo traveler, it surprise me a little bit when arriving by night from the train station. But hey, the hotel can't do anything about it

The location of the hotel is perfect, the old city center is at 10 minutes walk and train station, tram and busses are very close. The hotel is very confortable and clean. The staff is really nice and was very reactive to anwer to my emails and questions. I recommend this hotel to visit Munich.

Despite the hotel location not being the most beautiful, it is located close to downtown, to the main train station and to a wide variety of restaurants and stores. The place is quite old, but the room is fine for a few days. Everything was very clean. Our room had a fan, hairdryer and a tv. The staff was nice and helpful.

The pillows were quite uncomfortable.

I was send to other hotel Buddy 1 day before arrival. And the Buddy Hotel Personal was super kind. The girl in the reception was very helpful. Rooms are small, but clean and new. Coffee machine in the room and very good location.

The high price for economy class hotel.

We had been there for tge Oktoberfest. The property was walking distance so 5 stars for that. The staff was excellent and took good care of us. Yet the rooms were small and okayish. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable.

Modernise the property.

The room had sound proof windows, almost no noise from the street below. Due to the heat the room was equipped with a fan.

Wifi was pretty bad. We had to sit in the lobby to get connection.

There are two hotels with the same name close to each other so you may be confused. But very friendly receptionist will help you find the right one if you lost. Very friendly staff in both of them

The reception staff are so welcoming. Location very good.
