The location is ideal, in a quiet neighbourhood of Haidhausen close to Rosenheimer Platz Underground Station only two stops from Marienplatz central Underground station and square. The River Isar & Deutsches Museum and both within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful
The room was hot and I would imagine the lack of air-conditioning maybe an issue in the height of summer. An electric fan was provided so this didn’t spoil my stay. Breakfast was expensive poor value for money and I choose to eat elsewhere after trying once during my stay. I visited during the first weekend of Oktoberfest and the room price was easily the highest I have ever paid in Munich or even the rest of Germany. It didn’t seem to compare favourably with other hotel prices, the only justification was that prices where high in all hotels due to the extra demand. The cost may have been easier to swallow if Breakfast had been included in the price but as one member of staff pointed out ‘it sadly isn’t included’.

My sister got sick and needed medical assistance. Brian from the front desk was tireless, he called the emergency services, the hospital and tried to help in any way he could. Sadly we could not get any assistance even going to the ER. Do not get sick in Germany even with insurance, the system is broken . We got turned down in the ER I was in shock. Be aware that pharmacies close at 6 pm. There are very few 24 hours pharmacies, bring your onw meds. I want to add that the restaurant staff was very helpful also, modified the meal for my sister we are very grateful.
The breakfast was very good, but a bit pricey , the breakfast staff was not very friendly. They close at 10 we were there at 9 taking our time, but at 10 they start removing the food and did not allow us to take any more bread. LOL.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at Living Hotel am Deutschen Museum during our journey from Amsterdam to Venice. The hotel's convenient location near the main Munich train station made it an ideal choice. Nestled within a charming park with beautiful gardens, it offered easy access to local restaurants. Although our room was simple, the cleanliness and essential amenities like a good shower and tea/coffee facilities exceeded my expectations for the price. The receptionist warmly greeted us upon arrival and added a thoughtful touch to our 40th wedding anniversary trip with drinks and local jam. Unfortunately we were not able to take breakfast as we had a very early train departure but I am sure it would have been nice. We would gladly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, well-equipped rooms, and friendly service. It may be basic, but it certainly meets the needs and we would happily stay there again.

Great location, more than OK living utensils and equipment. Small but still existent and operational a fitness. The stall were helpful to a degree. The fact you get a welcome basket is quite a touch towards customer satisfaction. There is a laundry option in the basement, although it should be booked in advance.
Two downsides: - the room in cleaned only once a week. Given you can cook and whatnot that felt a bit rarely than needed - the coffee machine at reception was severely overpriced for the quality of ´beverages´ one can get

Location good, very clean and serviced each day if you wanted. Nice touch with the free beer and water.
The descriptions and photos of the rooms are misleading. I booked a business queen room which says in the facility description ’kitchenette’ (in fact all rooms say that in the description!) - this actually amounted to a mini kettle which had to be plugged in at the bedside. When navigating the pictures of the rooms it’s hard to see whether the room you book is the modern looking one or the dated red rooms! Turns out a business queen is the red one - which most definitely does not have a kitchenette! It’s a shame because our stay was good and we did like the hotel but I did book it because I thought it had a kitchenette so be aware of that if you are booking with that in mind!

Great location, we walked to the city centre in 20 minutes. Staff were polite and helpful. Lovely room, spacious with a little fridge. Big comfortable bed. Great shower. Secure luggage store. We wished we had stayed longer than one night!
The street was a little noisy but that's not the hotels fault! Maybe ask for a room on the opposite side if you're concerned about noise.

The rooms were large and had a large wardrobe as well. There was also a mini kitchen in the room. They provide 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of beer daily. The breakfast has a decent spread and was very nice. There are a lot of eateries within walking distance.
We were allocated a room on the ground floor and the wifi was non-existent. Despite raising a concern at the reception, it remained unresolved. The staff were courteous and said they'll raise a ticket with their IT team, but nothing changed on the ground.

The place is at a very nice location in Munich (not so far from transports, no so far from some attractions, both by walking). You have some services around. The rooms are good enough for 2/3 days of stay. The staff was super and able to talk in English with no problems. They offered two drinks per night (including beer) and we liked this welcome reception.
In our opinion it is time to modernize this hotel, it is a little bit old style and fancy. In Booking website some of the pictures of the room hotel didn't match with the room we booked for our family (most part of the rooms don't have kitchenet).

First of all the location is superb. Then the hotel has 24/7 reception. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very warm, and every room has heating radiators. Bathroom was really very clean. We haven't used the kitchen corner, but it looked compact with everything needed for a pasta or scrambled eggs. We've chosen the hotel breakfast, which was quite good.
No complimentary bottle of water, and no minibar. The refrigerator was empty.

I loved this hotel. The rooms were excellent for the price and came with two free beers and two free waters. Bed was comfortable and it had a lot of extra things including a kitchenette. Breakfast was amazing. The location was about a 5 minute walk from the main town area which was perfect and it was easy to get too from the airport.
Nothing really. The hotel was great.
