Pension Seibel

Where should I start.. The location is absolutely fantastic. You are so close to Marienplatz,Viktualienmarkt, and Isarvorstadt. The list goes on. I arrived late evening and I wanted something to eat. Just downstairs is a fabulous Indian restaurant that serves delicious food. To finish an already incredible evening, a wonderful Italian ice cream parlour that had an incredible selection of flavours. I had my favourite.. Pistachio.. As mentioned earlier, I arrived late, but there was a letter at the door welcoming me with an enclosed description on key retrieval. East Peasy. The rooms, although they are quite oldie worldy they still give you a sense of comfort. The water was wonderfully hot for the shower. The breakfast was fantastic too.. The staff were also so kind and welcoming.. I will make sure I return here because it was just absolutely fantastic Thank you x

The pillows weren't very good.

The room is spacious, meets all your needs but don't expect anything luxurious. This is just a really nice place to stay in with all the necessary facilities :) Also, the manager lady is super kind! I had to leave early in the morning so I wouldn't make it to the breakfast. The manager lady offered to make me some sandwiches using the ingredients they would normally serve at the breakfast. Therefore, I got to eat my breakfast even without actually being there! By the way, those sandwiches were really nice!

Sound isolation of the walls is good but for the doors, it could be better. The room doesn't have AC so it might be too hot during the summer

1. Location is just step away from old town. 2. Food is all around the corner . Halal food is easy to get 3. Tram station is just cross the road 5. Bed is very comfortable 6. Croisant for breakfast is very fresh n delicious

Please re paint the room

Very close to the Market area and Central Munich. Staff were friendly and helped out with advice on travel options to the Airport. Taxi Rank just outside, we didn't use it, but very convenient. Very clean room. Cheap accommodation which did the job for 1 night and then we left the City to go home.

Not so much of a problem for us, but no elevator could be for some walking up to the 4th floor using the stairs. Room could do with some modernisation.

big room, big bathroom; excellent location; no lobby per se, checkin is through the breakfast room, which is small but decent.

no shower curtain, despite me requesting one; no fixed shower head so you just stand naked on the side while you rinse yourself. no smoke detector, found it inside the wardrobe. no elevators and we were on the 5th floor (which is 4th floor in Germany, they started with floor zero). signs everywhere for No Smoking but the guy beside us smoked the whole time. no insulation in the building so you can hear every conversation next to you and every scrape of furniture

A great hotel....with the exception of trying find the actual check in part.....we had to find the doorway, a button to ring and then didn't know which floor the reception was on....we found it eventually and everything was fantastic. The location was perfect...a very short walk to the Marion Platz.

One thing I would recommend would be a shower curtain....when you used the shower, water went everywhere.

We really liked our stay. The hotel is simple but fine, we didnt have any problems and the room was quite big as the toilet as well! Location is super good, we cold walk to the city center very easy, also has supermarket and restaurants at the area. Friendly staff!

Not so much to complain. The shower is with a curtain and the floor got a bit yet. Also the reception is at the breakfast room but is no sign of it, so took a bit until we find it.

So much to love! The family run establishment, the staff, the delicious breakfast, the coziness and fantastic location to all the sights! Felt very safe and easy to find.

I was on the second floor so I was able to carry my luggage up the stairs but perhaps being on a higher floor or with less mobility would be difficult.

If you are a tourist for this area of Munich, I 1000% recommend the Pension Seibel. It is across the street from a convince store where we bought some essentials and bottled water, which sits on the same corner of the trolley/tram stop. And just a short walk to the subway (S-Bahn) station that is in the center of the beautiful cathedral square. The St. Peter church and baliska is right there. There are great French, Bavarian, and Asian Fusion restaurants all within the 1 square mile area of this spot. There is a city market with a biergarten and all kinds of fresh produce, cheese, prepared foods, and souvenirs. We even found a book store and other shopping spots that was everything anyone could need. You have to find the boba tea/donut shop and the chocolate maker up the street!!! The room we got had enormous windows that overlooked the street with beautiful flowers in the windowsill. The beds were so comfy! Although it wasn't provided in the room, I asked for a hairdryer and they had one available. I peeked into the cubby of additional amenities when the staff was retrieving it and I'm sure if you needed anything else, it could be obtained with a polite request. Breakfast was provided and was the perfect way to start the day; with juice, coffee, yogurt, cereal, granola, meat, cheese, soft boiled eggs, and fresh croissants. I really couldn't have asked for more! I really lucked out in finding this place and I will absolutely return next time I'm in Munich!

Extra pillows would have been nice as the ones provided were a bit flat, but that did not dampen the stay whatsoever.

Breakfast had a very good selection and great quality! Location was great and staff very helpful !

No complaints !! mabye good ideas are could have done with a kettle, biscuits, tea ,coffee facilities in the room .I like a tea after travelling all day ! And mabye a popup toaster in the dining room for making toasted bread would be a good idea as well ! Not complaints just good ideas !
