Liberty Hotel Thamrin Jakarta

the hotel is located Just infront of the Dukuh Atas MRT Station. Also Nearby it the Sudirman LRT which can take you to the Airport for IDR70,000. It is within walking distance to the major Malls like Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia, this is a perfect spot if you want to do some shopping. Room was spacious and had a kinky bathroom with Glass that allows you to see through the room. However for privacy you can also pull down the blinds. Buffet Breakfast was Indonesian Style. For IDR75000, it was a decent offering. The local TOFU and TEMPEH FERMENTED BEAN Salad was delicious but the fried chicken was a little dry. Overall, I find this a very good option for a short stay in Jakarta.

The bathroom towels looked tired. Could do with a change soon. As the rooms are also located close together, you can literally hear your opposite rooms checking in and out as they close the doors. Also the TV is connected to a TV BOX hidden behind the TV. As it is controlled by the remote, there was a Infra Red sensor which was hanging down under the TV which on first thought might seem like a SPY Camera, but only when i traced it back to the box with the (IR) socket, i realized what it was. But had been given an initial shock when i saw it. Perhaps the hotel could put a sign to indicate that the IR receiver was not a camera but for the TV box.

Great hotel near the amazing Grand Mall, 5 minutes walk. Lovely little cafe inside the hotel with a small but good value breakfast - friendly staff. Our double room was spacious and had a floor to ceiling window which gave us a lovely view of the streets and city lights. Our other room, a twin, the view not as good. Metro station just a minutes walk was convenient. We would choose this hotel again.

Centrally located, clean, highly recommendable breakfast, nice big shower, room with a view, friendly helpful staff, restaurant is always open, TV with HBO

Compliments to the photographer who took the pics for booking.com website: He managed to make the room look double as big as it is. We booked Superior room...I don`t want to be stuck in a normal room then ;-) So, don`t expect superior space in this superior room. Its just a standard room size.

I needed last minute accommodation. I was travelling alone and didn’t have heaps of cash available for this extra expensive. I picked The Liberty Hotel randomly and honestly, I’m still so amazed at how lovely everyone was. The buffet was great, the room modern and completely clean. Air con was cold- which is what you want in Jakarta and full control of degrees. I highly recommend this hotel and I will always be back. Plus the location- can’t get much more central. Loved my 4 nights stay there.

Hotel's location is really strategic, near to Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, and Thamrin City shopping mall, airport train, subway, commuter train, and a bus stop. A lot street food can be found near the station and hotel. Lobby is small but I think it's enough and efficient, since the hotel is not that big anyway. Reception staff is so friendly, they help me during my stay. Room was spacious and clean enough for me. The bed sheet is okay and bathroom feels nice with big glass and blind in shower room. I love the bathroom mirror but not the shower door. Also, hairdryer is placed outside the bathroom. Room isn't soundproof but it was not a problem for me. View from room was okay, I got the view to some new skyscraper construction. TV is quite packed with many entertaining channel and good quality picture. I didn't taste the breakfast and didn't try the cafe at the lobby so no comment to that.

Security staff could be improved with manners and service training. I was struggled with my bag and suitcase when I arrived, and all he did was just watching me dragging my stuff. Shower room door was really weird, it can't fully close and you need to close it really slow or else you'll get a loud noise from shower glass clashing with each other. Carpet cleanliness could be improved. Their WiFi is so bad, it always disconnect at several times.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was good but had a window through to the room (not ideal for a twin room). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Not much in the surrounding area.

Comfortable bed, rainshower, television. Good location nearby metro,bus,airport train, malls. Nice decorated hotel.

Entrance is heavy to walk with loose tiles. Breakfast is very poor. Restaurant chairs are not comfortable and poor. Outside terrace is not clean and with a lot of cats. And they play very LOUD music with breakfast . The rate per night is to high.

Great location, 5 minute walk to airport train, staff lovely, room spacious, great bathroom and SO clean. Very refreshing. Oo and the drinks in the cafe were great and open late!

My only suggestion would be to price the double and twins the same, we had a great stay in a twin but only picked this due to the significant difference.

Pretty much everything was almost perfect. The bed was very comfy, clean room, fast wifi, friendly and helpful staff. The location is very close to the airport train station too (5-8min walk)

Unfortunately in the freezer inside the little fridge we found an ice tray full of brown frozen liquid :/

the location is in the centre of the city and very near to the MRT station and walking distance to shopping malls and surrounding by local street food

minor comment, the security/ guard did not help when parking and there a moss on parking area to entrance stairs when raining is gonna be so slippery.
