Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa

The facilities and pools were great..the kids loved the waterslides, it was a great resort for families. The buffet breakfast was really good, the foodwas delicious and had a great selection.. The location was perfect, great cafes 1 min walk away and the resort was across the road from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I love Bali Mandira , its my hone away from home! The staff are very beautiful and welcoming. The buffett breakfast is the best, you certainly wont need lunch! The swim up pool bar and water slides for the kids are great! A minutes walk to beach and ahops and restaurants.

Beautiful pools, friendly staff, great location. Our ground floor cottage was conveniently located near restaurant, pools and beach. Wide choice of restaurants are located in nearby streets.

Pool towel ticket system, with 250,000 rupiah charge for lost tickets. Difficulty finding available sun beds due to families placing items on multiple lounges before breakfast and leaving them there all day. By contrast the Sofitel policy is sun beds are unreservable, items left unattended more than 30 minutes will be found in Lost Property…resulting in plenty of sun beds for those wanting to use them.

We tried many meals in Azul Beach Club Restaurant and we could hardly believe it, but whatever we ordered, every single dish was very tasty and delicious. We went back there even after we moved to another hotel in Bali.

The location is one of the best in Legian, right on the beach and just around the corner was perfect for cafes, restaurants and shopping. The grounds are immaculate and so lush with beautiful tropical gardens. The main pool was excellent, although we had a Villa and swam in the pool there most days. Definitely worth upgrading to a villa if you can, although expensive. Staff were just so beautiful and friendly.

Breakfast was average and always cold. We had the club benefits which included breakfast at Azul, but after 2 days we decided to have breakfast in the main restaurant which included more choice, but was always cold no matter what time we ate there.

Everything I needed was available and the resort is a beautiful, well maintained property. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.

Being questioned by a particular staff member who thought I was doing the wrong thing when requesting a birthday breakfast for my son, after spending a lot of money here between our group I was pretty mortified which spoilt the last week of my stay. As a regular visitor to Bali I would have to reconsider staying here again for the 3rd time.

Check-in was effortless and staff were very friendly. The resort is quite large with 2 pools to choose from. One smaller one for adults only and the other larger lagoon pool is kid friendly with water slides and other activities. The hotel location was great with a selection of good restaurants and bars to choose from. Overall, the friendly staff, great adult only pool, and top cocktail and drinks selection made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was good although the selection could have been more varied.

Although our room was large and clean, it was a bit dated. To our shock there were no bedside power points. We required these for a CPap machine and other essential devices.

Inclusive breakfast was incredible and a very wide variety. The pools were beautiful and the entire staff was so helpful as we had many issues during our trip- from delayed arrival, to missing luggage, to rebooking the Mandira after our next hotel was not as pictured and we did not want to stay there- we immediately wanted to come back to the Mandira.

Wish we could have sat on the beach without being hassled to purchase items. I know that has nothing to do with the Mandira, just annoying when trying to read a book. It would also be great if one of the pools was adults only. Basically anywhere quiet to read a book undisturbed near water.

Location , staff very helpful . Having kettle & tea making facilities in the room . Choice of pillows on order . Hair dryer so much better than in the past . Plenty of towels in the bathroom . No smoking in rooms . More family friendly than in the past

Club benefits perhaps not value for money , happy hour 4-5 needs adjustment to 5-6 as the dedicated time is really mid afternoon . Need more umbrellas around the pool area . Doof doof music around the pool area .
