Sri Phala Resort & Villa

Friendly, accommodating staff. Beautiful facilities and poolside food and drinks. The spa facilities were amazing, the Balinese aromatherapy massage was divine. The location was great to get down to the beach, pier and some local restaurants but was a little far from Tourist Sanur main strip.

The shower tap was a little leaky in our room. Fridge in the room was not connected to power upon arrival.

Sri Phala is a tranquil oasis set in a very busy part of Sanur. It is very close to the beach, many restaurants and it is easy to visit other places from Sanur - the harbour is just up the road about 5 minutes where you can get boats to other islands. However once you are inside Sri Phala you would never know - it is quiet, peaceful and very lovely. Our room was big and clean, the staff are wonderful, there are two beautiful pools and breakfast is very good. I would definitely return.

The shower curtain - I just don't like shower curtains! And the shower itself was handheld but perfectly functional and fine. Nothing to actually complain about

The service was exceptional. I stayed here 5 times. Mini -Soma and rest of check in team. Professional and fabulous. Dined several times at restaurant- very very nice. Ate traditional indo food, swam in pool 3x a day. No one in the 2 pools quiet and secluded. Had massage after massage thank you Wartini and staff. Last time I was here pre covid 2019. My 11th trip. Thank you to each and every one of you turning our stay into memories. From Aunties birthday breakfast icecream bithday cake. The 💐 flowers. Aunty was blessed and treated like a queen.

Lovely stuff. Warm and welcoming. The lady at the restaurant even offered to warm up the meal when I asked to borrow the bowl and spoon to eat the food I got from the night market. The place was chilled though it’s close to the big street. It took 10 minutes to get to the port to take a ferry to Lembongan island. Took 25 minutes on foot to get to the night market in the Sanur center. We preferred walking but they have some transport service which is scheduled twice a day. The room was spacious and had lovely balcony. Hot water works perfectly.

Not that big problem but bathroom was flood when we took a shower.

Staffs were very friendly. The room was kept clean everyday. Free water refills were available at the reception area. Very close to beach front. Few really good local restaurants were in walkable distance. Balinese Massage and reflexology ptovided were great.

Bathroom setting wasn't really good (shower curtain was too long, water drainage way wasn't good). Everytime we showered, water flooded on the bathroom floor. But they cleaned our room perfectly everyday so it didn't bothered us too much.

Staff of the resort were super friendly, kind, courteous, always helpful and supportive. Our little daughter was bitten by the mosquitos came via open courtyard in the room during first day of the stay and they moved us to a room without a courtyard upon requesting resort manager and staff. Room was great. A spacious 2 bedroom villa. Breakfast and food was delicious. They had so many choices on the table including fruit and fruit juices. Hotel provides free purified drinking water to guests at the reception using a water dispenser and all what we had to do is to fill up our empty water bottles daily before going out. That saved us money from buying water bottles from shops out there that we don't really know about. There are some good restaurants around the place also a bank (Maybank) to exchange money across the road and they give you better rates than private money exchanges.

Better if they had a shallow area in the swimming pool for kids.

The hotel beautiful and has many nice gardens and places to sit. It is in a nice location, very close to the beach (a short 8 minute walk). The hotel has complimentary bikes so we were able to ride to the beach and on the beachwalk there. There is also an amazing coffee shop (Coffee Therapy) next door and lots of restaurants and markets a short walk away. They have two nice pools and a free shuttle to the shopping area. The staff are so helpful and kind.

I think the breakfast could be improved. The juices were not fresh (from a can/carton) and the coffee was also not great (a shame for Bali). If you stay here, I recommend staying on the ground floor. Our balcony was nice but there were bat droppings each day (they cleaned each day but they would come back). The bathroom could be updated. The window is a screen and had a tear so mosquitos would come in.

Breakfast was amazing. Good access to 2 pools. Easy back entrance and exit to go onto the street. Staff were so friendly and willing to help out with any of our requests. Also shuttle on-site to utilise and book for travel. Hotel is right next to convenient store, near Dunken Doughnut, KFC and awesome Japanese restaurant

The rooms and facilities just need a bit of an update or renovation. The cleaning of the sheets and towels needs to be better also as white towels and bedsheets were off grey. The toilet in the main bathroom kept blocking also. Bathrooms just needed some deeper cleaning or upgrading.

beautiful little boutique hotel in Sanur, with 2 lovely pools, great friendly happy & very helpful staff, always say hello and have a smile on their face. room was great all you need including fridge & kettle. balcony was good size with a gorgeous view overlooking the pool area. The breakfast was tasty not the biggest variety but we were more than happy with it. We also had room service & lunch and this was great too very tasty. location is nearby to lots of things but the best area in Sanur is about 10/15min walk but still hotel is surrounded by shops/restaurants/cash machine so everything is on your door step. Was highly surprised that being so close to the busy main road that the resort is like an oasis of quiet and calm and you don’t hear the traffic, probably the clever water fountains and the lush green plants block out the noise. couldn’t fault this place, highly recommend

Searching for hotels in Sanur can be exhausting, as the choices are seemingly unlimited. Of course it is narrowed a bit once you adjust budget and general preferences, but still there is a lot to pick from. As it was not our first visit to Sanur, the main goal was to find a decent place to relax after the flight, before heading to our final holiday destination via a domestic flight. The Sri Phala is easy to miss from the main road, but it is bigger on the inside with several buildings spread out across a nice garden area and you have 2 pools to choose from. Walking distance to the beach was also on our list, and during daytime you can use a gate at the back for an even shorter walk. Arriving rather late after being stuck in traffic, we were happy to hear the restaurant is still open and it served some really nice food! Breakfast was also good, and the staff both in the restaurant and at the front desk is really nice and helpful! Our room in the main building appeared to be a bit dated, but everything was well maintained and worked. If you want to be closer to the beach front restaurants and the main town area, this is maybe not the right choice, but you can either get a taxi or use the hotel's shuttle (at fixed times) to get closer to the center.
