Tandjung Sari Hotel

Everything. This is a very special, relaxing and amazing hotel. Everything from the architecture, gardens, the staff and the food are brilliant. This is one of these places where the photos underrate the ambience and traditional feel of the hotel. Couldn't have felt more comfortable and relaxed.

Beautiful accommodation with our own courtyard and gazebo. Loved the outdoor shower. Great restaurant with amazing breakfast. Lots of lovely little touches like sarongs for resort use. A very comfortable and relaxing stay thank you.

The pool is a little small and located right by the dining area and there are no lounges to sit on. Unfortunately the chairs on the beach are very exposed even those with umbrellas.

We had an amazing stay. Best hotel in Sanur. Amazing service, decor, management, food and ambiance. Love the history of the hotel.

All the staff were absolutely incredible. Very professional but so caring, authentic and friendly. the Food, the sea, the location, the beach, the garden… just stunning.

At first, after checkin, i was a bit irritated, because our Bungalow didn‘t have an outdoor bathroom, like on the pictures. but after one hour I didn‘t care anymore about that…

love the location near the sea so you can eat outside under the large trees. great food and delightful staff

smoking is still allowed in the outside area which is very unpleasant for guests who dont smoke. the mattress is a little hard.

We loved the vintage tiles in the Village Bungalows, the outdoor shower and everything else within the room and not too mention, the exceptional staff who every afternoon would turn down our bed, spray our room and generally tidy up.

A fan in the lounging pavillion/balé would have made our stay perfect as there is little to no breeze in this part of Tandjung Sari.

What a magically beautiful hotel in a ditto location. This is one of the most beautiful and special boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Authentically Balinese; comfortable cottage (villa) in Balinese atmosphere, a beautiful garden, lovely pool, fantastic restaurant (excellent food and neat service) and with its own beach. Everything your heart desires can be found here. Sanur is a nice place; touristy but not so busy and I have the impression that mostly older people come here. The hotel has an entry on Wikipedia and a book was published on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Loved this traditional Balinese hotel. The gardens, pool/restaurant area & private beach are all very well kept and respectful to the history of the hotel. The staff were all extremely helpful and super friendly. Food was amazing all round and dinner on the beach is lovely. It’s nice to go for a bike ride along the beach front or just wonder the shops/bars/markets. We only stayed one night/2 days post island trip but was very pleasantly surprised. We had a beach front Bure, it’s more of a garden front, not actual access to the beach or direct view but lovely never the less.

The beach front room was quite dark, our kids had a garden room which was rather big and much brighter, I just personally prefer a sunlit room. This wasn’t a problem at all :)
