Hotel Plaza Kokai Cancún

The location was walking distance to restaurants and ADO. Rooms were spacious and there no cleanliness issues.

The downstairs staff is very grumpy. I had a problem where my room key kept getting deactivated everyday and this was inconvenient. Bathroom faucets could use deep cleaning. A/C is extremely loud and functions more like a heavy duty cooling fan rather than an A/C. Once you turn it off the room is immediately hot since the A/C was actually more of a fan.

Close to bus stops to Hotel Zone, staff helped with directions to hotel zone and back by bus. They also arranged for airport taxi which was reliable and helped a lot, the staff felt responsible when the taxi was running late. Walkable to Oxxo, Soriana and Ado station.

Looks like the vents of smoking and non-smoking rooms are connected. Had good amount of smoke smell in my room in the morning, could have been a deal breaker had I been there with my family. Some machine running outside my window (probably from a neighboring building) was kind of noisy even when the windows were shut, not a big deal for me though. Only one soap in the entire bathroom. The sheets for covering yourself were the same quality of the bedsheets, kind of seems to be a standard in many hotels. No breakfast but I was ok since I knew it at time of booking.

The stuff was really friendly and helpful. We asked to be moved to another room because of the AC was very noisy and they did it right away. Whenever we aksed a question they were always willing to help.

Breakfast, it should include unlimited coffee at least and bigger portions of food.

Great location close to Ado bus station, local markets, superstores. The staff was fairly welcoming. The cleaning lady did a great job everyday. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Centro Cancún. Great deal!

The bathroom had a strange smell. No menu or room service contact was given in the room. The windows are strange as the concrete block like boundaries (can see in the hotel pictures) limit/block the view you can see.

The staff is very friendly. After I checked out, I got my wallet stolen in the bus station. I came back to the hotel and they allowed me to stay to use the phone to contact bank for solutions and also treated me with free full course lunch. I really appreciate the care and kindness extended by Miguel at front desk and staff in the restaurant.

conveniently located to major transport hub and lots of local restaurants within walking distance. the staff were very friendly and helpful and they cleaned and sanitized daily.

WiFi keeps disconnecting on the 3rd floor

Good hotel. Rooms and pool shower, etc professional.

The included free breakfast advertised was nothing but black coffee juice or fruit and some bread. Even though there's a full kitchen. Milk for the coffee is extra 25 pesos, pancakes, eggs, etc all cost more money. Also the restaurant kitchen closes early at night , like 9:20, not 10, so you can not eat late here.

the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The hotel in general is very quiet which makes for restful nights. There is a Pool and on site restaurant with excellent food. I’ve stayed here many times and would recommend to anyone looking for basic comforts.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a balcony. AC was good and clean, extra blanket provided in a huge wardrobe. Bar and restaurant downstairs which I didn't have a chance to use. Small swimming pool also which I also didn't use. Roof terrace also on the roof looked nice too.

Shower was pretty weak and for the price you pay there is a slight lack of amenities such as toiletries and coffee making facilities. This is comparing to other hotels within the same price range.
