The food was good

I didn’t like the fact that we were told we have to pay $250.00 a day for a cabana with the mattress. I didn’t like eating in all the restaurants without air conditioning and sweating in my nice clothes. I didn’t like that they don’t have anyplace to hold shows and entertainment. It’s a beautiful property but they need to stress the fact on their website about all these issues especially after paying for an all inclusive week and trying to make us pay $250.00 for a cabana that should be included. We had to go outside the property to a restaurant and spend an additional $300.00 for dinner and a show that the resort couldn’t offer. Very very sad

We loved most of the staff at Paradisus. They were also so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We felt as all most all of our needs were handle and if we were having any problems, the staff was quick to find a solution. We have special mentions for the staff: at Enzo, Deniss, Rafael, Ventura, and Rodrigo really put in extra work to make our honeymoon extraordinary. On the beach Julio Castro was an amazing safeguard, showing us all of the mama turtles and baby turtles on the beach. Lastly at the pool bar, Samuel, MAURO, Antonio, and Asuncion made sure we had a great time as we bathed in the sure and swam in the pool. We would like to thank them all for their services and smiles.

We didn't like that we saw roaches on the premises and also that our room was flooded during the hurricane. We understand that hurricanes are unpredictable and uncontrollable, but have better door sills would have helped to keep the wind and water out of our room.

The Reserve restaurant was lovely, we really enjoyed the meals there. The levels of service from the staff were exceptionally high. Rooms were acceptable but the service was a little hit and miss- one day our mini bar was not re stocked.

The overall level of food was ok. It lacked seasoning and choice particularly in the speciality restaurants.

Excellent service, always with a smile. Loved the Nespresso bar. Main food buffet very good. Beautiful beach.

An extremely loud outside event that was held right in the middle of the resort one evening.

Staff was great. The hotel was good. We did the reserve and the helped with maneuvering the stay. Food was different and quite an experience. I would definitely come back with my children.

Remember to bring smaller bills for tipping because they expect tips every where we went so smaller bills will be helpful. Something kept biting us not sure what it was.

Need better directions getting around the compound. Definitely need better chef! Food is not great! No flavor especially pool restaurants! also need activities in the day to make the hotel fun! Too boring! If the hotel have fun things day and night with great tasting food it will be perfect!!

The restaurants were amazing delicious. we tried all asian, Mexican, italian andfusion restaurants and loved everything we ate. also the buffet was satisfying. the pools are very large. also drinks were very good. the staff was generally very kind and friendly, except the guy in the nespresso store.

All 4 days we had a water problem, the water of the bathtube ran into the room. I called the staff every day but the problem was not solved, they only cleaned the room. it was terrible. The vistors had differend wristbands, golden ones could enter evry place and pool, the purple ones were limited. even in the bar we were asked not to use some sofas since we had no gold wristbands. you have to make a reservation at the restaurants and I didn't like that. you can't decide what time you want to have lunch, you have to obey the time you can find the place in the restaurant.

Good morning/afternoon/evening 🙂! (Long post alert) It has taken me a month to do my review (junior suite with lagoon view) because I am still not over the fact that I am back from this amazing place I call “Paradise” on earth 😍. This was our first time here as a family and oh boy were we super impressed with this place! Transportation to and from the airport we used “Otium” which is located at the resort. We were welcomed by some cold passion fruit drinks so delicious!! 1. We are a family of 7 with younger kids (9-11) so my review is going to be on the non reserve 🙂. Our room was the lagoon view, (we got two rooms next to each other). The rooms are very spacious and clean and the view on the lagoon side was actually pretty breathtaking:), sunset and fireworks at night was a bonus 🙂 . Rooms were cleaned everyday. A big shout out to the cleaning team, they do an amazing job. You do not need to upgrade to an ocean view especially if 90% of the time you will be outdoors like we were. 2. The food service was amazing oh my!! All the restaurants were open and the service is over the top, we had Alex, Martin, Alejandro most of the time for breakfast, they are amazing!! (I miss tequila in my coffee every morning 😊) not forgetting Orlando from “Nespresso” we loved stopping by there for Mimi treats. 3. Kidzone was open for kids ages 5 and up and shout out to Tannya and Nicole. They had fun things for our kids to do, they had programs from 10am to 5pm with a lunch break. So awesome would highly recommend especially if you need a little break to enjoy yourselves. 4. We got to do adult activities as well; volleyball in the pool, some water exercises, and also wine tasting.

We were overall satisfied the only negative thing to say is how they push the Meliá circle at you until you actually go for the “Talk”. Our keys to the rooms at times would not work but they were pretty quick at fixing the problem

The staff was very friendly , and if we had a issue they were prompt when fixing it.

Some of the food could have been better and more of a variety. Also there could be more night life for adults . There was only live music , and entertainment , and that ended at 11.
