Crown Paradise Club Cancun - All Inclusive

This was a very clean resort and it was clear that a lot of time was spent to keep it clean and tidy. There was also plenty of space around the two pools (plus the covered indoor one) and at the beach. The kids club was great for my two children (age 5 and 7), as the slides were perfect for them. There was a lifeguard on duty in the kids club which we really appreciated. We did not have issues making reservations at the specialty restaurants, and we utilized making reservations for excursions directly through the resort. Overall this was a great family location and it was really easy to relax at this resort.

There was an issue connecting to wifi because we had wifi, but the concierge gave us the extension to call to fix it and it was really easy to do. Also, the beach wasn't super clear of kelp, which was a little annoying and not depicted accurately in any of the pictures of the resort.

It is exactly what you expect from all-inclusive resort. It is a temple of overeating, excessive drinking and hippos frolicking in the pool. Wide range of food and drink 24 hours a day. Clean and comfortable room. Very polite and friendly staff.

Pictures of this hotel on Booking.com show nice and wide beach, but it is incorrect. Cancún area suffers from massive beach erosion so the beach is about one third of what is shown. Also beach and the sea are polluted by unbelievable amount of sargassum seaweed.

Lots of activities to do, both structured and unstructured, family friendly but also had lots for just adults to do, restaurants were delicious, the evening shows were fun, all staff were super helpful- shout out to Jesus and Angel our bellboys when we were coming and leaving - so friendly and kind!

very hard to know how to navigate the property at first- hard to make reservations for when we wanted, wifi was terrible- barely had service and definitely could not use the app effectively, nobody answers the phone when we tried to call from our room.

The hotel has excellent infrastructure for the kids, including dedicated pools, rock wall climbing, mini golf, and others.

The room we initially got, wasn't clean, however, the staff when communicated about the problem, promptly provided another room that met our expectations. The total cost was higher than initially contracted with Booking since the room price was converted from pesos to USD, which we weren't aware of when we booked through Booking. Booking needs to be more explicit about the room cost policy.

The staff was incredible. Very hard working and accommodating. They worked endlessly to keep guests happy and seemed to never stop working. I think the employees were the best part. Especially Enrique and David and the ladies behind the buffet food stations.

The building is a bit older, but dont let anyone tell you they aren't trying to keep it spotless for guests. They were constantly cleaning. Unfortunately some buildings are just older. The food wasnt the best, but people who say it wasn't edible were probably the rude guests who were there. There were plenty of rude and entitled people and sometimes I think they are the ones leaving the terrible reviews. People who push in front of you at the elevators or are mean to the workers..sad that we saw that happening.

The hotel is great and has many facilities that are of much use for families with small kids. We traveled there with our boys who are 3 y.o. and 6 y.o. The food is good and diverse (great breakfast, with customizable omlets, natural juices, good pasta etc). The a la carte restaurants have great ambiance (seafood, steak house, mexican and italian) and also include menius with pasta for kids. Many pools with kids playing area, bars and other leisure areas based on everybody's needs. The room is big and comfortable and was always cleaned so well. There are indeed needed some renovations, especially in the bathroom, but nothing critical.

The only inconvenient is that the beach is so much different than you see in the pictures. Due to some hurricanes that have happened over the past year, the size of the beach has significantly diminished and only one row of sunbeds were displayed on the beach, while the entrance in the water was quite abrupt, not only for kids, but also for adults. However, compared to other resorts, the state of the beach was quite ok. Other than that, everything was nice; beautiful sand, nice and hot water, beautiful colour of the Caraibean Sea.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The access to the beach was good and pools were nice. Kids club was a good option. Dining options were very convenient.

The food was was good at some restaurants and ok at others. The staff was always very accommodating to special requests for children. The pools were not heated and were cold at times for our littles.

Stayed for 6 days. Great for families, they have 4 water slides that even I as an adult enjoyed very much. They’re is also a water park area for the kiddos with a shaded pool for everyone. There is one main pool where they host activities and another pool with a kids pool right next to it. Water always kept very clean. Also a soccer ball and basketball court and mini golf. Gym could use some work my head was an inch away from the ceiling while on the treadmill. Staff provided excellent service. Pool Bar was great and they also have lots of flavors for the kids. Rooms are smaller than I expected but it provided what we needed. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Club Room. It comes with a complementary bottle of wine, fruit bowl, a hot tub (that we used a lot) refilled mini bar fridge, private concierge, access to the 8th floor bar, and access to the breakfast club with ocean view on the top floor. (Props to the waiter there he was fantastic every time we went). Sadly we didn’t try an of the restaurants there only the international one. Food was good, there was always something I liked. Waiter were excellent. Overall great resort, more budget friendly than most on the HZ. Excellent staff. Sadly there has been high tide for 2 months and Sargassum for the past year everywhere so we could not enjoy the beach but it’s not the Resorts fault.
