GR Solaris Cancun All Inclusive

I loved that they had a list of daily activities. Shoutout to Israel for his amazing yoga classes and Zumba class. They also had a white party and live shows with amazing performers. They had a nice variety of restaurants, too. The beach access was amazing, and there's a separate adults only pool with jacuzzi. I love lovee the pizza oven they had too and the snack bar was delicious. Also, their deli is addicting and felt like a personal Starbucks. I was very grateful that there was a waiter for the pool who took drink orders.

Unfortunately, the buffet was okay. The other restaurants were by reservation only and it was difficult to navigate their reservation website. The rodizio style restaurant was only once a week and we werent aware until after the fact. Some of the bars were hit and miss. Also, the elevator needs some repairs. We also couldnt find the stairs, when we wanted to ditch the faulty elevators.

The staff goes above and beyond to make your trip fun and stress free. You don’t really need to leave the property because they have everything

The food was amazing in every restaurant/buffet and every day it was something new and delicious to try. I was actually very please with how the hotel is taking care of its customers towards the Covid situation: measuring temperature before entering the hotel, sanitizing rooms, and having sanitizers available on every floor, corner of the hotel. Even though the hotel has an amazing selection of food every day, you still can be fit after your all-inclusive experience and that's thanks to the Animators team :) Your day will be filled with different activities during the day, as they would keep you busy :) I participated in the class with Israel/Ysrael trying yoga, aquafit, Zumba and it was amazing! But if you want your "quiet time", they have an "Adults only" and "quiet zone" area by the pool and that was super relaxing. Moreover, every evening the hotel hosts different shows in their facilities. They were absolutely fantastic. And after the show, the hotel hosts additional evening activities with karaoke or live band music. You will never get bored in this hotel. We strongly recommend and definitely be back!

The walls between connected rooms are too thin. If you are not traveling together with the neighbors next door and are not lucky to get a quiet neighbor, it may be too much. You can hear ever when your neighbor turns on the water in his shower. Our neighbor decided to turn on music at 1:00 am, which was not fun. When we asked the hotel to move us to a single (not connected room), they mentioned that they had availability. However, we decided to stay one more night in the same room to see if the situation repeats and the next night it was much better.

on site restaurants required you to make a reservation the day before and we missed out on 2 of the restaurants bc of this.

all inclusive, amazing staff (so fun and nice!!) comfortable rooms. great live music at night! really clean!! pretty solid food and drink! really nice guests/clientele too, easy to make friends!

Seemed like we had to make reservations at some restaurants for the sake of making it seem more exclusive when there was clearly room to eat in the restaurant. rooms had thin walls and the connecting doors rattled at night. the staff cleared out our stuff at the pool while we were at another pool 20 meters away and it took us multiple trips to the front desk to get them to let us look through lost and found. there was no shuttle to/from the airport for our flight times (arrival at 11:30 pm, depart to airport at 7 am) not to the aqua world for our excursion - had to take cabs or the bus.

Great value for the price! All the staff were super helpful and very happy to see us. Everyone from the bell boys, front desk, restaurant/bar, room service, room attendant, pool staff and everyone in between were super friendly and provided the best service! Room was clean and cool. Pool was bumping during the day with tunes and the bar there. There’s a quiet pool and a lower pool to escape the music and chill out. A lot of reviews bash the food but I thought it was fairly good. Limited selection due to few restaurants but large enough selection once you’re there. The main buffet style hall was large and had ample selection that anyone would be able to find something they liked. The shows every night are a great addition to the experience! So entertaining and fun to watch. Overall a great experience

AC in the room wasn’t cold enough. One of the restaurants weren’t open and they didn’t mention it anywhere so the food choices were very limited during the day.

The location was great.. beautiful beaches. The resort was absolutely gorgeous! Enough restaurants to suit everyone's palate, the wait staff was outstanding! 2 Angels (literally their names) learned our whole families drink order and replenished frequently, Henry, Carlos and de Jesus were some favorites but they were all so nice! Leo, Israel, Chris and Reuben spent their days making our time at the pool fun with dj ing, games and activities and then took part in the phenomenal shows each night. we had the whole family with us and we all had a wonderful time! We went out on several excursions and saw some of the local attractions.. Cenotes is not to be missed! Highly recommend!

The check in took an hour and a half and the Rep was less than informative and the Wi-Fi is sketchy but, who's there to work?!?

Staff is super friendly. Made us feel very welcomed. Facilities was very clean. The all inclusive part is excellent. Good food. Mainly Mexican food. Some days is Italian food. But overall the food is delicious. The Deli has good croissants sandwiches and mocha frappes and open very late. The pool area is clean except when. People don't pick up their own mess. But the staff is very good at trying to keep up with it. The shows they have at 9 are lots of fun and very enjoyable for adults and kinds.

Pizza , burgers, flautas, tacos and french fries in the snack bar area around the pool but it's only open till about 6-7 o clock and the pool area is open until 8. But it's all very delicious. Same thing with the swim up bar and the outside bar. The outside restaurant is open only certain nights.

it’s beautiful, right on beach, great views nice rooms, hotel travel were great. workers were very nice.

you need atm’s for small bills, it’s hard to chase ppl down for change to give tips. workers yell to each other in hallways all hours waking us up or we have to check for fight, fire etc. would like a map and information written down in room, the tv information is too quick to read.
