Hotel Gromada Poznań

Stayed twice in a weeks visit to Poland to go to 4 "The Hardkiss" concerts in different cities, the second of which was in Poznan, then found out another group I wanted to see were playing in Poznan towards the end of my week, so immediately booked another nights stay in this hotel. Easy to reach from the city centre by tram (very regular, and cheap), only a few minutes walk from the tram stop to the reception. Nice , clean hotel, comfortable bed, and the breakfast was very tasty (something I don't normally bother with, but glad I did this time !)

Keycards rather than keys would be nice, but honestly that's a tiny thing, and in some ways it's kind of part of it's old charm.

Breakfast was very good, the room was clean and quiet, there was enough parking space in front of the hotel in a secure parking lot, personel spoke english quite well and helped with planing a sightseeing tour in the city.

It was quite humid and warm in the room, AC could have been great for the summer, but we used the fan and had to open the windows to the mosquitoes, which had an intense and motivated Polish character as well.

One shame was the bar and restaurant was closed, (although being Easter) however the delightful lady on the front desk, arranged a cab, that took us into the centre for a nice meal, Fantastic Brazilian restaurant with some of the best steak cuts I've had too date! Shame the bar wasn't open for a night cap, when we got back, but it was Easter and suspect staff wanted a break, which was fine, wasn't a deal breaker at all. Fantastic hotel with a soul, most places are over modernised and soulless!. This place was just right. Well done

Nothing that was important

Despite an "old-school" look from the outside, the room was very comfortable and big enough for 2 people. The location is quiet and very well situated, close to the airport and the main city. The room was clean and breakfast excellent: scrambled eggs, sausage, bigos, devilled eggs, ham, cheese, selection of bread and rolls, cakes, cereal and hot and cold drinks. Very good value for money for both the room and breakfast!

I liked everything about this hotel.

Room as whole hotel was very clean, comfortable bed, possibility to make tee/coffee in the room , parking accessible (paid, reasonable price), very nice breakfast - so all what I needed was offered.

Check-in was the most frustrating part of the stay - very, very slow and rude receptionist in contrast to women working in restaurant (during breakfast-great respect) and receptionist during check-out.

Very clean, helpful staff and good beds and pillows. We were scheduled to arrive at midnight, but check in is until 18.00. We called and the booking was kept for us. Great communication and service. In the morning I had a small delay with the shower, but after 3 mins it was working perfectly. Great value for money, would definitely stay again on passing through Poland.

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with nice cinnamon smell, free tea and coffee provided. The hotel has a restaurant and nice facilities like a sauna. Friendly receptionist.

Just like other people complained about the sound of the geyser, I could hear it, but to be honest this sound only starts after 8am and it didn't really bother me, so don't be worried.

The breakfast was typical for this region. Good food quality that provided satisfaction. Great support was provided for us on early leave. On our request we received very good breakfast box for take away.

Not many places around were to have dinner. Closest approx. 5 km away.

Very pleasant Hotel about 4km from central Poznan but a bus/tram stop within 5 minutes walk means it is very easy to get into the centre. Staff very helpful. Quiet location.

Beds too soft for my liking but that is just my preference

Great breakfast, nice rooms, good service. A bit far from the center, but a tram stop ist close to the hotel.

Unfortunately, the WiFi was unstable and unreliable.
