Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava

Friendly staff, and a great view from my hotel room (River view), which overlooks the Dunaj, and the Bratislava UFO bridge. The location is very convenient with the castle being just a 15 minute walk away, and a tram stop on the main road outside the hotel. The hotel is on the edge of the old town, meaning that restaurants and bars are very close by.

The only issue for me during this stay was that I had asked for a double bed, and instead was given 2 single beds which were pushed together. This caused slight discomfort when the beds drifted apart, however, this is only a slight complaint, and didn't really affect the quality of my trip.

Just what you would expect from such a well known hotel chain. The room was large with an enormous, very comfortable, bed. It was all very clean. Unlike some comments I saw here, the window opened and there was a thermostat to adjust the room temperature. The breakfast was magnificent in both its range of options and quality. The location is perfect too, right in the touristic part of the city and near some nice restaurants.

The only downside for me is that it was not quiet. There was noise from upstairs until 1am and extremely noisy guests hanging out in the corridor from about 1-2am. It is a large hotel so I suppose noise from inconsiderate guests is to be expected. I would stay here again though, despite this.

Top Location. Only few minutes to walk to the old town and sights. Modern and very clean rooms. Nice Spa area with pool and sauna. Good variety at breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Our room was on the first floor directly above the L' Art Gentleman´s Club which is in the same building. We could hear very loud music and moving furniture in our room from 9pm until 4am every night! (hard to sleep) Really expensive parking (32€ each night)

The staff is very welcoming and nice, we had a great conversation about Languages with 2 of them :) they were also super helpful booking a cab for the Sunday morning (who arrived early, fab!). There was apparently a sauna that we could use for free, but we did not have time, our priority was to experience the city and the food, as this was our first time in Slovakia. The location is fantastic, a few meters only from the old town. The room was super comfortable, we had a view on the Ufo bridge and the Danube. Breakfast for 15 EUR was a generous buffet.

Underground car park!! very difficult Park even small car …waiters on morning breakfast service needs educated how to treat clients not even bother say hello and if you want them they pretend they do something,I just want filling up a bread.Young people without soul looking like they not really like their job.Just making but reputation to Hotel as Radisson Blue shame 😞

Room big enough, comfortable, nice breakfast.

Bed was little bit too soft! Impossibility to have normal cup for cappuccino - only big ones. There is not bar in the hotel, you can't have real coffe except from machine at the breakfast. We asked for smaller cup, there was only cups for tea (big one) or for Espresso, no for cappuccino. Little bit strange, answer was that they have only this for breakfast. It was warm in the room, so I opened window, as there was not real regulation for AC. Hotel is quite big, long corridors. Horrible price for parking! 32€/night. Ever for check in or check out you have to pay for parking, there is no limit to just go in or out. This is really horrible.

The room was rather big and clean, the hotel is in the center of the town, from where everything is easily-accessible, the pool and saunas are great and the staff is nice and helpful.

Air conditioning was not working in neither of the two rooms we stayed in and outside is rather noisy, so keeping the window open at night is not a great idea. The window to our fitst room was broken and while I asked for the AC to be fixed, instead I had to spend some 40 min with the technician as he was fixing the window, then left without fixing the AC. The jacuzzi is not working and hasn't been working for a while. The wellness facilities start at 8 am and close at 8 pm, which is not a great schedule to take advantage of them. The corridors are long so it takes a while to get from the elevator to the rooms, for most of the guests. The bathroom is strange - toilet in a different room than the sink and shower. The matresses were not great.

It was a good location near the Donau. The room was clean and the beds were good. You needed your room pass in the elevator and could only get to your own level and to the exit level. You couldn’t use the stairs other then for fire exit. I thought this was a good security measure. The busstation was nearby, which was handy to get to and from the airport. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was very good, really nice service.

The shower in our room was in a high bath which is not so handy for older people.

Didn't like the pillars in the middle of the pool! Water in pool very cold.

- elevator between reception and garage not working; - room not well cleaned; - towel thrown on the floor to be exchanged was put back as if it was a clean towel; - bed not made; pillows are flaky and difficult to sleep on - rooms are not well phonic isolated, as you hear traffic from outside; -carpet in the room not cleaned/vacuumed; - few employees with a temper, including at breakfasts time; - at check-in received a room which was actually not free, then received a room different from wjat we paid; - reception staff needs some additional training on how to communicate with clients, especially when is hotel’s fault;
