Pension Petit

Pension Petit is a small lodging in a nice area filled with restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. The Pension has its own attached cafe which was well attended. Lots of people day and night enjoying coffee, etc. The "hotel" is right across the street from the Presidential Palace (one of major sights in town), and a few blocks (10 minute walk) from the Old Square and other major sights. Maybe 10 minutes the other direction from the Castle. My room was small but clean and well equipped. Bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly and professional for both check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay there again.

The elevator was antique and small. The room was a bit cramped, but adequate for me. I had no real complaints.

The location was spot on - you could reach everything "touristy" in the city within walking distance or not so far away by public transport (which costs 90 cents for 30 minutes, very cheap). The presidential palace is just a few meters away! There are food options available (if you did not buy breakfast) just outside the door, and public transport stops are a few meters away. Shops are also within walking distance (a nice supermarket around 500 meters from the hostel). Also, the rooms were comfortable - my room was rather small for a double (it was a budget one), but it had everything I needed and catered for all my needs. There was not that much noise from outside, considering the busy road just around the corner. The bathroom was nice, with a hair dryer. Kettles and some tea/coffee options were included as well. The team was wonderful - everything was explained in a matter of minutes, check-in went smoothly, and also they had free Bratislava maps on hand with all the suggestions for things to see. This really helped me to see more than I previously thought about this city. Luggage storage was also available, which helped me a lot. Definitely recommend this hostel for a stay in Bratislava.

The downsides are clearly way smaller - the elevator is tiny and a bit odd. The number of wall plugs in my room could be higher (only one was free), but this was an issue you can easily deal with.

Great location , friendly staff , clean , big and warm (during freezing winter) room (3 beds) . When maintanace was needed due to elecrical problem it came in minutes . Everybody spoke english at reception . Wifi was great . Recently renovated room . Prime location close to to old town and next to Presidential palace , 15 minutes walk (or short bus/tram ride) from Central train station which is just 24 mins bus ride from airport

Some things were expected to be spartan not a five star hotel , but there was no phone in the room even for connection to reception and when maintenace was needed I was lucky to have saved hotel's phone number and call from my cell phone thanks to free EU roaming and saved a trip downstairs . Not a big thing but pretty simple , maybe a chat link for real time calls at least since there is free wifi should do it to avoid instalations .

The location its near the center of Bratislava. The breakfast was tasty and had a plenty of options. At check-in the room was clean. Affordable place for a location near City Center. A Subway restaurant is at 10 meters from location.

In one room the shower was not at the same level as the rest of the bathroom, in order to enter it you had to raise your leg well. In 3 days the housekeepers entered just to take the trash nothing else. This is not something that really bothered me, it's more of a warning for future travelers, if you stay on the top floor, it takes a few minutes for the hot water to come.

Great location and close to transport links (though the whole city is walkable). Staff lovely when we interacted with them and the rooms were simple but clean and equiped nicely. Balcony was a nice touch. Access after 10PM with a key fob for the main door so feels nice and secure in what seems a lovely and safe city.

The lift is a little old fashioned and does shake a bit. There's also a weight limit of two people due to it's age and size, but it works. The outside doesn't look much but it's not reflective of the inside.

I wasn't expecting much as was only around £70 for the night. But I was pleasantly suprised. From the outside it doesn't look like much at all but the room was huge with tea and coffee amenities. The buses are right outside. We walked from the main train station and was around a 20 minute walk. Going into the old town in the other direction was only around an 8 minute walk so very centrally located.

The lift is very old and can only accommodate 2 people or 1 if you have a few suitcases. We sent one person up with the luggage and rest of us walked up the stairs. If you have mobility issues you would need to wait for the person to send it back down which could take awhile.

The room was not super big, but spacious enough. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. Also, the options for breakfast were alright, kind of the basic typical European breakfast you find in hotels (eggs, salami, sausages, dairy products but also vegan options, coffee, juice etc.). The location is very close to the historical center and the Castle (I think about 5-10 minutes walk). The bus station is right next to the hotel, so this was also convenient. We had a double room, at the end of September, and we payed around 80 EUR (breakfast included), which was great!

The entrance to the hotel is quite small, so we missed it at first. We walked around and were a little confused, but no big deal though.

Very nice and clean room, quiet because of the fact that it was situated away from the street on 4 floor. The kettle, tea, coffee available. The staff enthusiasticly kind and humoreus. The location perfect !! Good thing is that you can leave the car in the garage until 1.oo.pm, after check out at 11.00. Thanks for the good stay for resonable price.

Entrance to the garage situated on different street ( Panenska 23) was quite difficult (narrow gate, so we scratched the car ☺️😩). The street was very busy. But it is very good that the garage is available in the center of such busy town.

The staff was very nice and helpful, they spoke good English and were very willing to listen to questions. We could leave our luggage in a safe storage room both before and after check in times as our train arrived early and next day we had a train later than the check out time. The location is 15 minutes from everything, plus the centre was 5 minutes walk. There was a little fridge and a kettle in the room. The room had a good wifi connection. The bed was really comfortable

Some sockets didn't work and the room was not very big but as we didn't stay for long it was perfect size.

A very nice, clean, spacious family room with a double bed and two single beds for our children. The reception staff were very efficient and provided good recommendations for restaurants in the area. The location is very good for exploring the city - about a 15 minute walk from the main station and 5 minutes walk from the pedestrianized area of the city.

The building doesn't look that great from the outside, but the bedrooms, staff and breakfast room were all perfectly fine inside.
