Hotel Sercotel Cuatro Postes

Overall we liked this hotel, the room was enormous and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful view of the city walls. The bathroom layout was great, an open basin room area with a separate toilet and separate shower with individual doors. Location is just up the road from the Cuatro Postes viewpoint so easy to access that but it's probably at least a 20min walk to get to the gates of the wall. Wasn't a problem for us as we walk everywhere. Easy parking at the front of the hotel. Didn't use the cage next door but it looked good and was quite busy at times.

I didn't feel that the room had been cleaned properly. The whole time of our stay we were finding long dark hairs all over the floor which I pointed out to reception were obviously not mine or husband's. Just needed a really good vacuum.

ExpeGreat location, although a good walk into Avila center. Lovely room with a good view of the city walls. Good café next door, didn't use the restaurant, expensive. Secure parking for the motorcycle. Slept very well even though the room was on the main road side.

Put a proper door on the loo, you can hear everything!

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Easy to find and good parking. Charging for electric vehicles for 10 euros per night. Nice big room with lovely views of the old town. Easy walking distance to El Almacen (The Store), a great Michelin star restaurant with a varied and not expensive a la carte menu. Worth a visit

It was a little further out of town than we expected.

Very nice place with a beautiful view of Avila. About a 15-minute walk away from the town walls. Nice restaurant and cafe with reasonable prices. The room was very comfortable and warm. No noise. Comfortable beds and large bathroom. There is a lift for the upper floors. You can park outside the hotel for free.

We had the good fortune to have an upgrade. The room was large and very modern. The continental breakfast was very adequate. We paid for underground parking but there was free parking in front should you find it.

Nothing really although one of our group had a problem with walking, So to look at the walled town or find another eatery towards the town was a bit of a problem.

The location was ideal for us as it was walking distance to where we needed to be.

The rooms were outdated. There was a smell of sewege in one of the rooms and were asked to move. The staff went above and beyond to make the change hats off to them.

We had a beautiful room with a splendid view on the city (you can see the complete city walls lit up at night!) Nice bathroom and toilet. A lot of safe parking place for the car. Friendly personnel.

It takes a 20 minute walk to the city, which we found OK and even safe at night but for some people it may be a bit far. It is easy to take the car and park near the city entrance. Don't drive into the city with a big car, the streets are very narrow!

Location suited us perfectly,15 min walk to the walled city but very convenient for onward travel. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The underground parking was safe and secure.

The reception staff were not the friendliest. Due to Covid restrictions the breakfast buffet was not accesible,every item you wanted had to be ordered from the waitress who would then bring it over to you...if you were able to get her attention,in normal times it would probably be fine but seemed very poor value for money for what we had.

Walking distance/right opposite Avila walled city. Gorgeous view from breakfast room. Plenty of onsite parking - free. Also can choose 10euro per night to park secure underneath. Gorgeous rural sunset from our bedroom window.

Great 3 star hotel, 10 minutes walk to the wall of old city. Excellent breakfast, very friendly and professional staff, underground parking for fee, but you can leave your car at the public parking behind the hotel Would recommend.
