We loved the location of the hotel, it was so convenient to be able to walk out of the hotel and straight into the heart of the city within less than 2 minutes! The room was so lovely, clean and comfortable, perfect to relax in after long days of walking around sightseeing! The air conditioning and bathroom were perfect, and it was great to have a safe and a fridge! If we visit Girona again, we'll definitely stay here again!

It would have been good to be provided with some English breakfast tea in the room and a choice of milk, e.g. soya milk. Breakfast was good, but it would have been great to have more vegan options, e.g. dairy-free and egg-free pastries, vegan cheese etc.

The location is fantastic and next to the major shopping venue which is on the opposite bank of the old/historic city center. If you drive, you can in/load luggage at the dedicated parking lot in front of the hotel and then park the car in a huge garage that is within 5-min walking distance. The hotel offer a decent discount at the garage. It takes less than 5-min to walk across the bridge to reach the old/historic city and visit all the famous sights. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and considerate. Eg when we bought a watermelon around 10pm, we sought help to borrow a cutting knife and plate, the staff on duty opened the kitchen and got what we needed and some.

Staff was exceptional. Front desk very helpful and genuinely friendly and knowlegable. The hotel was very clean, bedroom, sheets, and bathroom all very clean, and well cared for. The room was in good condition and comfortable mattress. The public spaces in the hotel were attractive and safe. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and breakfast room was nicely appointed and well staffed.

In the hotel room itself, the lighting was somewhat poor and their were few plugs (making it difficult to charge more than two devices at once). There were not enough hooks in the bathroom, so had to move a chair in to lay clean clothing on rather than put it elsewhere. The air conditioning was poorly circulated in the room, making the area where my son slept icy cold, and the area where my husband and I slept, too warm. Given the rate of the room, I would not have expected these issues.

Our stay at this hotel really couldn't have been better. Very friendly greeting at reception, she was able to help us with parking and eating options which was very helpful. Our room was clean, cool and a good size. Our room was serviced while we were out which was a nice surprise. Two single comfy beds. The automatic window blind was very useful. It was easy to walk to all the attractions and restaurants. A small supermarket is located opposite the hotel for supplies. Overall a really pleasant stay.

It appears that they recently performed an extensive renovation (the staff explained to me that the floor my room was on had recently been renovated) and the hallways and room were absolutely clean and beautiful. My room was small but perfect for me, with a brand new bathroom.

My only issue was that I think the room thermostat was not set on “heat”but perhaps only on “fan” as there was a slight chill in the room and the hallway was actually warmer than my room. My theory is that the staff, when preparing rooms for new guests, leave the setting on “fan”…. the problem is that there are so many brands of thermostats and it was impossible for me to figure out how to adjust the settings? The evening front desk didn’t offer any knowledge about it.

Everything was great. All you expect from 3 star Hotel and even a bit more. Very clean, spotless. Comfortable beds, options of cushions, blankets, quilts. Good air-con. Very spacious and nice bathroom and toilet. Staff is superbly friendly, helpful and up-beat. You can see they are proud of their work. Location is very good. Excellent sea food restaurant 3 munites away. Start of old city route 400 metres from entrance. It was my second time in Peninsular, this time for leisure and next time in Girona, I'll be booking it also.

The only thing I can come up with (and I have to really try hard) is a missing bit of cream with complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Honestly - only this trivial detail.

The receptionist was extremely helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The rooms were well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the serving lady helpful. The location was ideal for access to the old town.

I read that parking was 8 Euros but in fact this was only for parking from 9pm to 9am. The 24 hour rate was 18 Euros and, while this is not excessive for city parking, it should be clear in the Booking.com description before you arrive. Our rooms were on the 1st floor over the main road, so some traffic noise had to be 'tolerated'.

Central location, good for walking around and getting to know Girona. Welcoming & Friendly staff with good advice on local parking. Used the hotel discount facility with the nearby municipal car park mainly. Room was small but had A/C, wifi & TV and window blinds so one could make it pitch dark - cleanliness was tip-top ! Breakfast buffet was a good deal.

Nothing stands out. It was a pleasant hotel and it would recommend it. The Reception/checkout said that I should check the rates with them the next time I planned to visit as they would offer me a discount.

The staff on the reception desk were really friendly. I wanted to practice my Spanish so they accommodated that and were really helpful with providing orientation to the city. The room was very clean and comfortable and as we were staying early in the week, the rate was very reasonable. The location was amazing - just at the edge of the river and across the bridge from the old town, near the shops and all the main historical sites. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and Girona as a place to visit for a few days.

the staff are great - very helpful and communicative. Breakfast was good and varied (nothing special but high quality) the rooms were a good size as were the bathrooms. matress was good and it is very clean

airco didn't work (lots of noise then shut off - i prefer the window open but it is in the city centre so you get noise from neighboring buildings and the mosquitos loved me a lot. Staff tried to fix it which was only partly successful. mosquito screens on windows would be a help but i guess locals are never bothered so much to realise that visitors are mosquito magnets. I got bitten a lot :(
