Central location, even though it's a little hidden. But really near to the Royal Palace and the main city area. All within walking distance. Before booking, I read some reviews saying the hotel is old. I was a bit doubtful but when I reached the hotel, it seems pretty new - maybe it's been renovated. Check-in was easy, the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Fast replies from the hotel when I messaged them to ask some questions prior to my check-in day.

Bed was a little noisy and uncomfy. It didn't bother me too much but if you're particular about bed comfort, then you shouldn't expect much on this aspect. Room walls are thin so you can hear people talking from the rooms beside you. Using physical key to open room door. Would be good to use a card and just tap the door to enter. The key also comes with a really huge and heavy keychain - not feasible to carry this around so I removed the keychain and just brought the key out with me. There's also no door hole so if anyone knocks on the door, you won't know who it is - a bit unsafe.

The Location was Great! Close to most major Attractions. The Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The gentleman, at the front desk, made great recommendations, according to what I indicated my interests to be. And, suggested a Wonderful, Flamenco performance, a short walk from the hotel. I ,must say, the Flamenco performance was Extraordinary! Whatever, I needed, (whether, getting a taxi to train station to storing my luggage after checkout was easily arranged, with outmost courtesy. Not to mention, good humor! :). I , also liked the Esthetics of the hotel. The cleanliness and attention to detail. Also, loved, the pleasing “Rose” scent of the hotel.

Didn’t have a coffee maker in my Room. Having said…it was , perhaps, a “blessing in disguise “. As, I am sure, there’s no way, I can make Coffee to taste quite as good as is in Spain’s restaurants or coffee shops , anyone can , easily, find nearby. :)

Aesthetically, very pleasing! Loved the Rose scent throughout hotel! Excellent location! Was give excellent information by front desk staff best places to visit. Especially, the Flamenco performance which was Outstanding! Staff was very accommodating, with respect to helping me store my luggage, extend my stay and providing me with Quick transportation to train station upon my checkout. The front desk gentleman was easy going and very helpful!! Loved this hotel in every respect . Great value for my $!

Would have liked to have a coffee machine in my room. Having said. There’s no way I could have made my own coffee to taste l, as good as, made, in most restaurants or coffee shops, found in Spain, Actually, in a weird way, not having a coffee maker turned into a “blessing in disguise “. As, I went next door to a coffee shop and had a great tasting coffee! Overall, great experience. Highly, recommend this hotel.

- The location is just great, the hotel is based in the center of downtown, we can all make it just by walking, a lot of restaurants (especially asian) are too close. - Despite being located in city center, the hotel is in quiet alley, we had great sleep! - Cleanliness

- connexion wifi not so fast but it’s okay - the breakfast is not diversified at all, and a lot of industrial products: canned fruit, industrial bakery ….. more fresh products would be highly appreciated

We liked the receptionist giving useful information about what to see and how to reach the sights, the water machine in the hall, the location which is absolutely perfect, the kind staff. The room/bed was very comfortable, the bathroom/shower spacious enough. We loved the coffee and the bacon at breakfast :)

The breakfast was fine but we would have been happy to have a banana and scrambled eggs. However, we survived without them ;) The bacon was delicious!!

The location was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Very close to Metro, Royal Palace, Gran Via etc. The hotel is extremely clean and we will definitely be back to stay again.

The room was a little tired and in need of upgrading, especially the bathroom. However, that certainly didn't spoil our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

The room was enormous for the price, comfortable, clean. Bed was super comfy. I was hoping for a bathtub but those rooms were taken. Location was perfect and because it wasn’t on a main thoroughfare, very quiet.

Alberto and Manuel really made my stay exceptional. They were both so courteous and suggested places to eat, use of the Metro and even helped with my train ticket to Barcelona. I loved my stay and would come back again.

Location is brilliant, walking distance to many of the main attractions. Safe area, well lit to walk around at night. Staff helpful with travel advice. Rooms clean. Breakfast good value at 10 euros. Lock Safe in room. Free wifi. Nice lounge area to wait in. Refrigerator in room. Air conditioning worked.

No tea/coffee facilities in room. Bar never seemed to be open

Perfect location - very central to the Palace and to Grand Via. All the staff were very attentive, funny and go above and beyond to help you. Rooms were spotless and very quiet as the hotel is situated down a side street. A brilliant breakfast with a lot more options than I was expecting. Also the water machine at reception was very helpful in the hot weather.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, just 1 minute from Gran via and next to the metro station. The hotel’s street was very calm and quit. The room was comfortable, very clean and they changed the towels every day. The breakfast was good. For what is offers, it’s really cheap.In two words: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We will be back for sure.
