Best bit is very good central location to Sol, and Plaza Mayor. All main sites are walking distance, shopping as well. Clean rooms and cleaning staff were friendly too. 24hr Reception with a friendly professional manner team. Nice pleasant reception area for tea and coffee to relax away from room.. Room was good and located on 1st floor. Would consider again for next time. Lots of international guest and small families arriving and leaving for short stays.

Located down a small side street so not much of a view. Renovation work taking place across the road so can hear workers during weekdays during June 2023. Noise level wasn't too bad though. Kitchen area was small, and electric induction hob took long time to heat up when cooking. Didn't have a washing machine in room but they do have laundry facilities on site which you have to pay separately. Storage was limited.

The location is excellent. It is a short walk to Plaza Mayor and to Plaza de la Puerta del Sol (and thus to the Sol metro/train station). The bathroom is spacious and the shower was enclosed and has good showerheads. The sitting area was spacious. The mattress was firm and comfortable and the pillows and bedding felt clean and new. It was really nice to have the kitchenette to make coffee and breakfast in the mornings, and having a big fridge was really nice. The room seemed newly renovated and was very clean. The closets were ample and had lots of hangers.

There is no charm at all. The couch is beige plether. The curtains and floors are beige and the walls are white. There were a couple of throw pillows on the bed that had an understated design, and two pictures on the walls, but overall it was very beige and boring.

It is in a great location. Very easy to reach from the airport. The kitchen had everything you could need including a good sized fridge and freezer

The Wi-Fi connection was extremely bad everywhere on the ground floor and because I had an inner room, it was not even possible to connect to mobile date. It would also have been nice if the receptionist on arrival had explained about the complimentary breakfast and how to use the self service fridge bar in reception . I kind of felt like I missed out. I booked a king bed, but was given two singles, but it wasn't the end of the world.

Location was safe and great walking distance to all the must see sights and lots of restaurants nearby. Close to Sol and Atocha train stations. Coffee, tea, and hot water were complimentary which was very nice touch at the end of a cold day outside. Asking front desk for assistance and additional supplies were also answered immediately. We were four adults, and the couch is a trundle bed so it was a little small for two adults. Although the common area was a little cramped, we were out most of the day so it worked out for us. For the location and front desk, we would stay again if we were to come back again.

The location was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The room had a balcony which although small was big enough to step out onto and look up and down the street, and there's a common rooftop patio with tables and chairs that's accessible from the top-floor hallway. (Neither of these facts was fully clear to us from our pre-stay research.) It's worth noting that the penthouse apartments (which I didn't stay in) in effect share that patio area, with lattice screens separating the apartments' patio from the common patio. The kitchenette was well-equipped and in perfect condition. Same with the bathrooms. This was our first stay in Madrid and not knowing anything more about how Madrid is laid out than what we found out by reading guidebooks, maps, and websites, our choice of the location for our stay was a bit under-informed but the location turned out to be great. Super-close to the royal palace and tons of shops and restaurants on pedestrianized streets and just a 20-25 minute walk to the "museum district".

The sofa (a sleep sofa, but we used it only as a sofa, not to sleep on) was uncomfortable.

I booked New Point Opera for my 19 year old son as his first ever solo travel adventure to Madrid. Having read the reviews and having messaged the property, I was confident that I had chosen the correct accommodation for him - A safe area was my main priority in booking New Point. There were cheaper options available in Madrid, but in far less safe locations, so for me, the price/location/safety ratio can not be faulted. He thoroughly loved his experience in New Point and the city of Madrid. Perfect location, friendly staff and housekeeping included during his stay. We been in a two bedrooms apartment with double shower/toilets. The apartment is brand new with all the facilities. The kitchen contains all the cooking tools. The air conditioning was excellent, quiet and cool well even during very high heat. Windows have double glazing with very good noise isolation.. Location is premium, a small street in the center. Everything is a few minutes walk excluding Ritero park and Pardo museum. A metro station is a 3 minutes walk..

This is the best holiday apartment in Madrid! It is essentially brand new because they finished a total renovation in the Fall of 2019, unfortunately they had to shut down a few months later because of COVID. Now, absolutely everything is shiny and new in this hotel. We stayed in an interior studio apartment on the top floor. It was very quiet and had everything a holiday apartment needs: fully equipped kitchen, including tableware, cookware, full-size refrigerator, microwave, cook top and oven. The biggest surprise was that the apartment was cleaned (and new towels provided) every other day. We were there for 8 nights and they even changed the bedding during that time. Wow! The entire front desk staff is great and very helpful. I loved the location of New Point Opera Madrid. We could walk everywhere, but we also used the close-by Opera Metro station often to go to locations outside of the city center.

I wish there had been a bit more room in the closet. The safe takes up most of one of the shelves.

We stayed in the studio apartment it was a great size and room was easily accessed via elevator which was good. Looks identical to the photos advertised. Kitchen in room came well equipped and house keeping every few days kept the room feeling like new. Can help yourself to tea and coffee downstairs at reception all day. All the staff we met during our 6 night stay were kind and friendly and even booked our taxi to the airport for us which saved us a lot of stress. The location of the property is amazing, we didn’t even need to use transport once-except going to airport- as it was within walking distance to all the main attractions of Madrid that we wanted to see! LOTS of shops and restaurants nearby, it was great.

Just like any city it can be particularly noisy at night and as our room was located next to the elevator so we could often hear guests late at night or early morning. Another thing relating to noise was the building opposite which seems to be a bit of a construction site at the moment so it was quite loud and not the most appealing view from the balcony but these are not huge issues and we would still stay again if in Madrid.

As we travel, we rarely stay at a property that fully satisfies in every respect but this one did. It has a perfect location in the center, just between the Royal Palace, the Opera and Puerta del Sol. Very close to both Metro stations and Cercanias (very handy suburban train system) which makes it easy to get from/to Airport or the main train stations: Atocha and Chamartin. All the major Madrid attractions are within walking distance. A walk to Prado/Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums would be 25 minutes. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby all day; orange juice and small muffins in the morning. A nice perk in the evening is free wine, around 7 o'clock. A big advantage is that the reception is open 24 hours that eliminates the hassles with phoning, codes, etc. to enter the building. The staff is friendly and helpful: in our case the receptionist went far above her duties helping us to schedule a Covid testing.

Rarely to state: we liked everything.
