Perfect location, bathroom shower, acces to land marks and public transportarion, fast check in.

Mattress and pillows was very uncomfortable for me, odor of the hallways, TV to small, for me to noise outside for the market, no free use of towels.

The value for money, considering the location, is incredible. We didn't have to use public transport at all in Madrid because all the main tourist sights were in walking distance.

It was very hot in the room, even with a large fan. It would have been more comfortable with air conditioning, however it wouldn't be reasonable to expect air conditioning at this price.

Located in the heart of Madrid, very close to Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace and all the touristy places, but the building is facing a quiet street. Close to metro stations. The staff are extremely friendly and speaks English very well. The place is so clean and bed is very comfortable.

My room is located at the end of the hallway next to the 3 bathrooms and laundry room so you can hear whenever people come and go. You can also smell the bleach whenever they clean the bathrooms.

Very good location, the building right next to the San Miguel market. The lady at the reception was very friendly. They let me leave my luggage for a day after the checkout.

No lift and steep stairs – bad combination for travellers with heavy suitcases. No water or filter whatsoever. You have to pay extra for the towels, but this is common for hostels. The room had no windows and the air flow was limited.

This hostal is located right near Plaza Mayor, so super-convenient. There is a Día supermarket literally a few doors down, a market across the street, and plenty of eating options nearby. That all being said, the room was surprisingly quiet. I heard very little noise.

My room was slightly stuffy, perhaps due to having just a small window. There was a fan which helped. Beyond it feeling stuffy, at times, the room and lodging were clean and comfortable.

This has been my go to place recently when traveling to Madrid, the staff are nice, the place is amazingly quiet even if it sits next to mercado san Miguel (literally beside it) and 2 mins walk to plaza mayor / 5 minutes walk to puerta del sol/ Opera. So you won't regret staying here if you wanted to be in the very centre of Madrid. Its for short stays but if you don't expect much, it is a very comfortable accommodation

If you dont complain about not having elevators like most old accommodations in Paris, then you should be fine. They don't have elevators. The heating is only within the rooms.

towels not included. we asked the receptionist if taking bus and metro was the best way to get to airport, he said yes. not true, Puerta del Sol area is being renovated so buses have been moved. metro all the way is the best way to get to airport regardless. the delay due to the bus confusion was stressful. we were given a room next to street and market, it was really noisy, but the fan helped with the noise. Better to stay in room not facing the street.

Hostel is in very good location, in the city centre. The room was basic, but enough for one night. The hostel is clean and with the possibility to leave bags after check-out, so we could go sight-seeing without bags.

The room was quite small, so it was hot in the morning, but it wasn't big minus for one night.

The location was more than perfect, at the very heart of the centre, just 1 minute away from the Mercado de San Miguel and 2 minutes away from the main Plaza. Moreover, I was surprised how clean was the room and bathrooms, it couldn't be better. Beds were super comfortable too and the price is great! Definetely recommend and would love to be back here.

Since the property is at the very heart of the city, keep in mind that in the evening it might be a little bit noisy, but that's the only possible disadvantage I might find. :)

Location is central. 10 minutes walk to Metro. Great check-in Luggage storage.

Towel is not included but you can rent one for 1 Euro. It’s a bit noisy, you can hear everything from neighbors. The door in the second floor is tricky, either needs to be repaired or explained how to open.
