Pestana CR7 Gran Vía Madrid

The hotel is everything and more than we expected. We stayed in Madrid before and had a rooftop terrace in the last one, but having the plunge pool when it was 40oc was amazing. The staff are so helpful and friendly at all times. The breakfast was fantastic, especially sitting out on the terrace looking out over Gran Via. The room is amazing and definitely done to a high standard. The sports bar and terrace are great to relax in after a long day sightseeing. On our last day, the staff were so accommodating, letting us keep our room for an extra 2 hours and storing our bags until we were ready to leave. We will definitely be back in Madrid and stay here again when we do.

Amazing staff, checkin and check out smooth, well explained. Wifi excellent. Bar on 9th floor amazing view. Roof top closed... Overall very good hotel. The location is perfect.

The breakfast was not at level of the hotel. Good food but often slightly to cold, eggs soaked in oil (had to make them send all back a morning I was first guest). Coffee machine (Nespresso) gets stuck all the time. No Latte or Cappuccino suggested. Coffee should be served by the staff. Staff kept on telling me every morning that breakfast wasn't paid while it was, making me feel uncomfortable and show them my extra payment for the same thing every day... Amazing availability of non dairy milks!

The location is so central and close to the metro station and walking distance from major momentums.

my first room had a clogged sink and they changed my room. But, the second room’s shower water was not heated.

i loved the kindness of the employees. They helped me a lot as i was in trouble due to cancancelation of my flight. it maybe does not suit in my price category,(as i do have low budget) but it it was perfect for me and i enjoyed it a lot. I just can recommand it. Thank you to the team for the warmful and kindness help. I just can recommand your hotel, and i hopfully come once back. Best regards.

The staff are really nice and they try their best to help with all of my needs, which is quite tough because I’m a picky person, but I have been treated very nicely and everything went through very smoothly from check in to check out. the rooftop bar was exceptional, the room I got was corner room and the view is incredible. My sister celebrated her birthday here and they gifted us a card and a fruit plate which was really sweet. Thank you so much I had a really nice stay

the property is not very female friendly, starting with the robe being extra rough and it wasn’t comfortable, there was no hair conditioner provided in the entire hotel, which was very important for me. The hairbrush was of really bad quality plastic and you cannot really brush your hair with it when you have long hair like me.

Beautiful cool and hip design. Breakfast was great, very simple but really good, and the staff were nice. Location is the best thing, in the heart of Gran Via. I will surely stay there again.

The problem is that the entrance to the street does not offer an elevator to the main floor, so you have to carry heavy luggage to the first floor. Their self-check in procedures are not so smooth, and are time consuming. Bedding is ok, but the pillows are definitely cheap quality. I was offered a room for the disabled, which was not comfotable since there were no glass partitions for the showers and water leaked to the toilet, and although I asked to be changed, they did not have anything available, but instead was offered for my next stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right on Gran Via and in between two subway stations. Surrounded by many shops and easy to access. The building is very nice and the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was always helpful and very polite.

Having Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the owners, I would have expected a bit much variety in the breakfast offer. The selection was not ample and there were some issues with one of the coffee machines. The pool are is nice, but the actual pool is very tiny. I think people go to this place just to see all the Ronaldo memorabilia that is on display, but that should be part of some museum, not a hotel. I actually did not know that CR7 is Cristiano Ronaldo until I got to the property.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, and I can't wait to share my positive feedback. The hotel's ambiance was inviting, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. What truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional staff. The team members were warm, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure guests' satisfaction. From the reception desk to the restaurant and the concierge, every staff member seemed genuinely dedicated to making my stay memorable. They were very professional but also personable, making me feel valued as a guest, staff was incredibly attentive and proactive in accommodating my requests. Their professionalism and willingness to assist with any queries or concerns I had made a lasting impression on me.

The hotel's location makes it an ideal place to enjoy Madrid shopping and nightlife, particularly in Chueca and Malasaña neighborhoods. It also makes it easy to enjoy plenty of Madrid's most famous sightseeing attractions, from the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor all the way to Cibeles, Museo del Prado, and even Parque del Retiro. Cabs and other forms of transportation are very easy to access from the hotel. Its breakfast buffet is quite complete, and the bar / gastronomic offer is modern and attractive. Showers and bathroom facilities are fantastic, as well as beds and pillows. TV and other room technology are top notch. The overall environment and feel of the place is sophisticated and sexy.

Some of the rooms can be quite small and have few of the standard comforts one typically expects from a hotel of its kind. While their efforts to save energy are quite commendable, achieving a comfortable room temperature, especially in hot days, can be tricky. For a hotel whose name is associated with Cristiano Ronaldo, its fitness facilities are rather small and inadequate.

While rooms were not big, they were super clean, well planned with quality furniture and nice bedding. Great breakfast, very friendly staff. Everything is very organized. Amazing view from the rooftop.

Location was somewhat overwhelming. While you are in the middle of Gran Via, the amount of people, cars and noise is way too much. Also, parking was an issue. In addition to horrendous traffic, the ongoing construction caused unexpected delays in parking the car. So, I would not recommend choosing this hotel, if you are traveling by car.
