AC Hotel by Marriott Tenerife

As other guests have mentioned it may be a little hard to identify the hotel and the underground parking by car. Still, if you follow the google maps route it’s intuitive. Parking is indeed very narrow and you need to make a lot of moves to get in, get out and park. Our car was medium sized and we managed only with directions from the “co-pilot” standing outside 😂 In anycase, if you have a small car is ok, if not and you do not want to stress, you can park in the underground public parking (with fare similar with the hotel which is very close to the hotel - Interparking Plaza Espana). Even though breakfast was very good, it lacks in vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, peppers, etc.). It would have been nice to have some in some days.

I really liked how modern the hotel is. The pool area is small and it is a little bit cold but it was still amazing to chill there. The staff was absolutely amazing - very helpful, funny and polite. The hotel has luxurious feel and in your room you get complimentary coffee and water. The city area just outside the hotel is amazing and so interesting to walk around. I would recommend to double check your special requests - I had to change rooms as my request, even tho it was approved, wasn’t done. The AC in the room is 10/10

I didn’t like that when you open the window it smells like cigarettes, because a lot of people would smoke and throw their cig buds down. Even though hotel is no - smoking one. It’s not a tragedy tho. Also in the room even though it was clean, there were a lot of hairs (in the bath, the bed), which weren’t mine. I was really really disappointed with breakfast. And I think I wasn’t the only one as people were walking confused. For the price you don’t get any yummy cereal, porridge or pancakes. Just disgusting (sorry) Spanish omelet and HARD BOILED EGGS. Guys. You need to do better with that. It was sad.

The room was well equipped. The bed was amazing. Centrally located. Most of the staff were kind and helpful. Fantastic rooftop, great food and cocktails, the lovely waitress offered us a blanket when it was windy.

The loud music we had on the first night from the hotel nearby. They have a rooftop and the music could be heard for miles. We couldn't enjoy the chill out music of our hotel's rooftop because of it, we could also hear it from our room which wasn't ideal . Thankfully it only happened one day and it wasn't the hotels fault. But I did thought the receptionist I spoke to about it wasn't very helpful. It was one time though, the staff was very kind in general

Location and only Location is te only Good thing. It is in the middle of almost everything, so you can walk around city center of San Cruz, and enjoy it.

Driving to Location: Driving to hotel location was tooo hard, the directions in the area is too complicated even with google maps. Breakfast was SIMPLE for a Brand name hotel (Marriott)! Reception: Was only ONE man, sometimes he could not serve customers efficiently. No helper for luggage, which does not match the brand name! Parking: Is hard to find, Too Small and Narrow, and Too expensive

The location is excellent, especially for the Auditorium and restaurants. It was clean stylish and calm.

The Wifi was very unreliable and you had to be on the guest wifi to chrome cast to the tv. I also couldn’t open attachments on emails as it was weak. Sadly our room was right next to the building next door that is having major work done, it was very noisy all day day Saturday from very early! Perhaps those rooms should only be used if the hotel is full until the work is completed!!!

Great and central location, modern and clean rooms, good breakfast and polite staff.

Rooms are suited better for short term stays as there isn't a proper wardrobe or cupboard to place your clothes, only a few hangers. As warned by the staff, the underground parking turned out indeed extremely narrow and tedious to manoeuvre in. But there is a public parking at Plaza Espana on a 3 minute walk for 10Eur/day so there is an easy solution.

Great coffee, ironing facilities, fantastic huge TV comfortable bed friendly staff. Very very clean and aco. For table stay.

No dustbin bags for lady personal hygiene no dustbin bags anywhere. Free Toiletries not replaced next day only enough for 1 person in a super king room. Breakfast way to expensive. Very noisy in room on Saturday night with music going on until very very late.

Great location, easy access to trams, main sightseeing areas, tourist office, restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast service - due to Covid restrictions and the lack of self-service this was a tiresome experience. The serving staff on duty were very good and doing their best but there were not enough staff on duty to deal with serving, replenishing coffee machines and food, and clearing tables. Management should have been aware that if self-service is removed, more staff are required to meet the guests requirements.

The location of the hotel is great - next to the main street and square. Very clean nice staff. There rooms are newly renovated.

There are no balconies for the rooms. The king size room was quite small. The internet was poor. The breakfast wasn't great, but it was ok. There was no toilet brush in the toilet?! The room view was ridiculous - it was overlooking a shaft. No wardrobe in the room.
