Urban Anaga Hotel

The room was spacious, clean and cozy. The bed was huge – we traveled as a couple and could have easily fit another person (or two) in between of us 😅. The bathroom was clean and provided a great selection of toiletries including a detail kit and shaving kit. Bathrobes were available. The room also included a capsule coffee maker. The breakfast was great in both selection and quality. The coffee was excellent. We were happy witht he location near the coast in the historical zone of the city. There is a lovely restaurant right in front of the hotel.

The walls are a bit thin, we could hear other guests at times, however it's not as bad as I one would imagine. The shower had an anti-clogging drain floor but it seemed uncleaned for a while and made strange noise during showering. One of our windows was above the smoking terrace for the staff which was unpleasant.

Spacious room, nice design, very clean, good location.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. A lot of noise from the street if you want to leave the windows open. A few times there was a confusion with the number of towels needed and we had to ask for a refill of a shower gel. Fridays and Saturdays can get very loud because of the rooftop bar (however, the bar is nice).

This hotel is good value for money, it was recently renovated and is placed in the heart of Santa Cruz, close to everything. The staff was very kind to us, especially the Romanian girl from reception. Many thanks to her for all the detailed info. The room was big and cozy and the internet speed is exceptional for Tenerife/Spain (~250Mbps). Even if the hotel is placed in the city center and the parking could be an issue, we were able to find free parking spots within a maximum distance of 10minutes of walking.

Even if we enjoyed it, there were a few things which bothered us during our stay and they could be improved: - we didn't enjoy all the noise generated by the bar placed on the 7th floor, even with the closed windows you still can hear it, especially during the weekend when the party is all night long. - we stayed for an entire week, but the bed linen wasn't changed even once, and there was visible dust on the floor of the room.

Just about everything. Love the terrace roof bar. Our room was fantastic and spotlessly clean and as for the cleaning lady, there was nothing to much trouble for her.

Not alot to dislike. We both felt the the young lady on reception at the weekend could have been alot more friendly. She made us feel that that we were an hindurence when we asked her anything especially when she waa eating her lunch at the same time. The gent on the evening was a lovely fella as were the girls on Monday morning.

If you are an OCD clean freak like me that likes a clean room, with no mildew smell and terrible lighting this is your place to stay. Look no further. I cannot express how happy we are that we found this gem. Super clean room, hotel, lounge, bathroom, shower, and everything around it. When we got to the room, we were pleasantly shocked at how big and clean the room was. It feels like two rooms into one. There is so much space to put your stuff. If you work, you can do so in your room because you have space for an office with great lighting. We got a street view room and it is super quiet and very relaxing. The bathroom is sparkling clean, they put to much detail into making sure you have all your needs met, like spare toothbrushes and toothpaste. The check out is at noon which we are used to have checkouts of 10 am. We’re so happy here we are planning on extending our stay. This hotel doesn’t have enough stars to show how nice it is… I’ve stayed at hotels that are 5 stars and were horrible compared to this one. This hotel brings home closer to me. Please note there is no parking on the site. This is Tenerife however and can’t expect to have parking everywhere. The city itself is small so plan accordingly. What we did, we left out bags at the reception and went to park. You have parking within 3-5 minutes of walking. They even brought our bags up to the room.

Very nice shower. Big rooms, spacious and clean. Location is great. Walking distance to city centre. Breakfast was good and simple. WiFi was good. Beds are comfortable. You can clearly feel that the rooms are newly renovated and are stylish and modern. Number passcodes for unlocking door which is a plus, no need to carry a key card.

Couldn't control the ac and room was very hot. Had to open all windows and balcony to get some cold air in. Be wary that the hotel is located on a pretty busy street with a tram, restaurants and bars beneath it so there is some noise from the streets but that didn't bother us.

I liked the size of the room, the location and the bathroom.

The bed I slept on was hard and uncomfortable. It felt like it had metal bars every couple of inches that just made it difficult to get in a comfortable position to sleep. I wish the bathroom didn't have walls that were so transparent. It makes it difficult to have privacy in a room that is supposed to be for the whole family. I wish breakfast wouldn't have been so expensive. At night you could hear loud laughing in the hallway from hotel guests returning to their rooms which woke me up around 1 am.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Urban Agana Hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for a business trip and I must say it was one of the best experiences that I've had at a hotel in my life. The rooms were cozy and modern, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. There are plenty of restaurants and shops right outside the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at the Urban Agana Hotel if you're ever in Santa Cruz de Tenerife!

Lovely, very well located hotel, loved my corner deluxe room with 5 windows overlooking the skyline of Santa Cruz, comfortable, clean, nice decor. All the amenities you need. Nice character with the historic (modernist) aspect of the building, recently renovated. Lovely staff, cool rooftop (noisy a bit, but great views).

What was a bit annoying was the music coming from the rooftop (which is great for city views and a nice atmosphere). I knew it before booking and I strategically booked for Sunday to Thursday, and it is quiet during the week let's say but on Wednesday night there was a full blown party and was quite loud even few floors down. so just be advised. Was also surprised that there is no room service available (despite 3 restaurants on premise), however easy to order via Uber Eats to your room. And lovely staff too in the Vermouth bar downstairs with small tapas.

Almost everything. Big room, slept like a baby, bathroom very nice and everything spotless clean. The breakfast was very good, not only for the stomach but also for the eye. So nicely arranged. I wish I hadn’t left my phone in my room, it would have been a nice photo.

We always sleep with an open window. But could not because of heavy smoker somewhere near.
