Hotel Posada del Lucero

The location, the room, when I checked in Pedro was very helpful and pleasant he helped me with my bags and showed me to my room and even waited until I got in to make sure my key worked. Pedro deserves a raise. It was very refreshing to have such service after a long day of traveling and being tired.

When I checked out Eduardo was not as friendly as the people when I arrived and he had an attitude when I asked him to call a taxi. He needs improvement. A smile and asking me how my stay was goes a long way which he didn’t do but he also seemed bothered that I asked him to call a taxi.

Everything was great! The staff were very welcoming, warm and helpful. The bed was super comfortable (firm mattress), shower was great, staff accommodated every request. Location is perfect and the room was very quiet. We had the twin room C04 which had windows but not towards the staircase which meant very little disturbance, yet plenty of light. The rooms were cleaned extremely well, everything was spotless, the toiletries were luxurious, and the complimentary bottle of bubbly was a lovely surprise. Would go back there and recommend to others in a heartbeat! thank you for an amazing stay.

Hotel itself is very nice, same as the common areas, top roof small but good for chilling a bit, very clean room and friendly staff. I also got a very nice courtesy from the hotel. It’s about 10-15min walk from the main touristic areas

The rooms are not very well isolated so it is very easy to hear a lot of noise from the neighbor rooms - eg. moving stuff around, closing doors, high-hills, even some conversations…

The staff were very helpful, we were there over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, meaning not much was open, but staff were able to get us some ice and had helpful hints as to where we might find restaurants. Room was lovely, modern.

The hotel building(s) having been of historical importance, I was expecting something with character, but it is all very contemporary/modern. Not bad, just not what I had expected!

The size of the pool - its not more than a large bath tub! Also feel the location is slightly further away from all the tourist spots - the busy road can get a bit noisy if you have a room facing this.

A lovely hotel within walking distance of all the sights as well as some lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Rooms were comfortable and staff were friendly from check in to check out.

Disappointed the Rooftop bar was not open whilst we were there, although time of year may have dictated this.

Everything was absolutely perfect, I would stay again. One of the best hotels I've stayed in a long time.

There was a minor boiler failure with no hot water for 1 day. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

The location of the hotel is excellent, one can walk to all major sights, everything is near. It is a historical building, but completely remodeled, only the patios are original. The reception area, the patios and the rooms are all done in beige marble and dark wood, which makes it modern and stylish, but lacking a bit of atmosphere. I had some problems with train reservations and the staff outstandingly friendly and helpful.

I didn’t book the breakfast because it would have been too expensive for one person (18€), but a much better option is to go outside, there are plenty of good breakfast places nearby. In this way you get to taste the typical Andalusian breakfast: toasted white bread, olive oil, a kind of tomato purée and Serrano ham - really delicious.

The location was excellent just a 2 minute walk from Las Setas and 12 minutes from the Cathedral. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating, had I realised that the room was internal with no window I would have booked a different room due to my Mums health requirements, the room was very warm. Though we were offered a room change and given a bottle of cava which was very very kind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower hot. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The daily changing of soap and body products and that they are in a plastic bag - this seemed like such a waste and it would be good if the hotel could move towards being more sustainable.
