Boutique Hotel Bellevue

This hotel has the most spectacular location - right on the beautiful river, surrounded by hills, paragliders, greenery and directly opposite the Eiger/Monch/Jungfrau peaks so you can watch them in sunshine, cloudy weather and at sunset when they are on fire. The owners and all the staff are amazingly helpful, thoughtful and friendly. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could wish for, from continental to cooked, and is served in a lovely old dining room. The hotel is well maintained, inside and outside, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, with lovely walk in showers and easy to use air conditioning. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony complete with table and 2 chairs. The location is perfect for Interlaken West and Ost stations, for the locations for tours to Jungfraujoch, Harder Kulm and so much more. It is also perfect for shopping and a big range of restaurants. Best of all, there is a big terrace on the riverbank where you can sit and have a wine or two, while watching sunset, the river and the mountains. We will most definitely be back here!

Location to West train station and the main street restaurants was a huge plus! The serenity of being next to the river was beautiful! Umbrellas being available to loan for the evening shower plus the free city travel pass was a nice touch. Tea/ Coffee makers in room was a big plus. Reception staff was super friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was pleasant.

2 single beds pushed together instead of a queen or double if not a king bed. Didn't expect that. People above us were walking better part of the night and the pacing was loud enough to wake you up. The folks at reception quickly took care of it when it was highlighted to them.

Beautiful location of apartment on the grounds, lots of green space around us, facing canal and mountains - beautiful! Excellent breakfast spread, and fresh coffee/espresso drinks Clean comfortable apartment with kitchen and fridge, and 2 bathrooms and beds for 6 people. We used the laundry machine a lot too, conveniently in basement of apartment. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wifi was a little spotty to begin with but overall it worked out.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable ( really bad billows which resulted in a neck pain when you wake up ) Ac controller is one of a kind which sometimes you can modify and sometimes you have to call to change the temp or the fan speed Ac filters need to be changed when ever it’s running i have a running nose.

Everything! The location was close to everything needed but also outside of the most touristy areas. The staff went above and beyond with making reservations and assisting w any other needs we had. The room was comfy and had an amazing view of the mountains and river- we could even hear the river as it flowed by. Breakfast was good value. They also had the best candy chews at the front desk that I’m now addicted to. Also had fresh pears or apples available in the lobby all day.

The hotel is very close to the Interlaken West station, There should have been a pickup/drop-off facility by electric cart, similar to what was offered by Alex Resort at the Zermatt station. I had my 2 grand daughters, 6 check in bags, 3 cabin bags & rolling the luggage after changing trains, makes the last 300 meters to the hotel very excruciating.

Nice balcony view of the lake. The staff waited for us for our late check-in and we really appreciate it.

The beautiful part of being in Interlaken to me is the beautiful river that flows through the town and the views of the mountains in the background and those are 2 of the many great features of Hotel Bellevue. Our room was facing the intense turquoise blue water and the mountains - you get this from the room balcony And the from the toiler too! The hotel building looks like a big English home filled with bedrooms furnished with modern fittings which is what we appreciate as compared to modern interior designs that lacked character to me. Also, the toilet has a bidet (this was the ONLY hotel in Interlaken that we stayed in which included a bidet so this is a Major plus point for us). Power plugs are fitted at the right places - plus point for us! Location was perfect with the hotel’s walking distance to the train station and the main street filled with quaint cafes and restaurants. Despite all that, we don’t get any traffic noise from the bedroom. I can only remember to feel so serene while enjoying our cuppa at our balcony. Room size was spacious enough for us to have 2 huge luggage opened up on the floor throughout our stay. The bathroom was Huge for both my husband and i. We were very comfortable in our space- there’s a huge bath tub and shower area. Vanity area was of a comfortable size too. An important factor for me when it comes to hotel stays is the breakfast spread - no complaints on this either. It is complete with variations of its standard Muesli and nuts and sugared cereals, fruits, varieties of bread with toasters. Eggs, salad section, cheese and i think many other food i can’t remember. It was quite a long spread. Anyway, if there was a breakfast rating, it’s 4/5 for me (just coz there’s no live station but im satisfied without it). Lastly, the service here is great! Ms Kiss and team was very helpful and friendly and we are thankful for that. This fussy Singaporean approves and would go back again for more! Value for money: 10/10!

The property is by the river and has a view of the river and mountains. It is very close to the interlaken west train station as well as many restaurants and shopping places. The staff deserves special praise since we were not well when we landed in Interlaken and were out sick through out and the staff took very good care of us. I will definitely stay with them in my subsequent trips. Thank you team Bellevue hotel.
