Hotel Derby Interlaken - Action & Relax Hub

The hotel overall was lovely. There is a courtyard in the back that's very peaceful and has tables for takeout dining. Breakfast was hearty, fresh and delicious. The site was clean and the staff were very responsive.

There were two areas that did not meet my expectations. One was we were put in what had to be the smallest "family" room, not the one in the main picture. For four adults, two parents and two grown teenagers, it was simply too small. The second issue was that the "kitchen" in the garden was not appointed in any way to allow for any level of cooking. There is a microwave and that's it. No cutlery, no colander to rinse fruit and veggies, nothing as far as I could tell. It would have been fine if we hadn't had such sticker shock at the price of meals. Poor planning on our part.

Location was great, few minutes walking to the center of activities and restaurants, so close to both lakes and to the train stations. Room was not big but smartly organized to fit all stuff in without having any issues, the team in the hotel are super friendly and supportive.

Nothing mainly, but may be different options in the breakfast would be a big plus. still the breakfast options are ok but could add more variants. other than that the stay in his hotel is highly recommended to enjoy small trip to Interlaken

AC is a real gem, as it's very rare in Switzerland unfortunately. The summer was extremely hot, impossible to sleep properly without AC, thanks to the host. The room was small but clean, neat and cozy, everything you need for a short stay alone or with a partner. Perfect location nearby to the bus stop should you prefer goin to Wilderswil or further, not that far from Interlaken west train station, so you may walk through the most beautiful part of the village. Breakfast is decent, good value for money, highly appreciated!

The room was little bit small, but it's ok for a short stay and value for money was good.

Air con and bar fridge and other room facilities were good along with ability to park right next door to the hotel. Although being charged an extra 10 Swiss francs per night for it was a bit much given price of accommodation.

Breakfast was very poor. Limited choices and no hot food other than fairly bland poached eggs. Lugging many heavy bags up stairs up a floor is not fun.

good location with on-site parking. friendly staff helped us with finding and booking restaurants.

shower room was bit small, and parking spot was occupied by huge pickup truck on the second day and we had to squeeze in a very tight 2/3 area of normal spot.

The hotel was a great stay for us. The staff was excellent and very accommodating and so nice. We enjoyed their breakfast and the setup was done well and kept restocked. The rooms were a decent size and the bunk beds in our quad room were just as comfortable as the regular beds. The plushy comforters and multiple large pillows were a huge bonus. Everything was well kept and clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Interlaken.

If I had to say one thing that wasn't excellent, it was the size of the showers and the bathroom. Although this is typical in Europe, it was still a bit tight. However, the bathroom was clean and plenty of towels were given.

Room was spacious, clean and cozy. It is about 10-15 mins walk from Interlaken West train station, there are lots of restaurants nearby. Taking a bus to the hotel is easy too, they have provided us with a public transport pass and a map. Breakfast was great. The staff was quick to help get the toilet seat and sink fixed as they are shaky.

There is a pantry with microwave and kettle in the garden, but it seems to be locked even though it is within opening hours for the pantry.

Location is great and small cozy rooms are very good and clean. Garden is amazing abd garden room for self cooking by microwave was added benefit. Bus connection is near by or Walk to town for shopping and restaurants.

Timings. check in 3 - 9 pm and check out at 10 am. Garden facilities are till 9 pm only. No restaurant facility inside hotel or connecting to it.

Very comfortable room despite being quite small. Having a/c and a refrigerator in the room were very nice. The shower was also very good. Decent breakfast. Parking on site was nice to have. Good location, very short walking distance to the center. Wifi worked just fine. Dark room shades were nice for sleeping in the morning as the sun rises crazy early.

Very little bathroom privacy, frosted glass door. We personally didn't mind this but other people might. Room could have been slightly cleaner. We found a lot of long dark hairs on the floor.

The hotel is in a perfect location for sight seeing. We parked our car there and did everything by foot! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was light but good. Will recommend to friends!
