We stayed at your hotel because it was suggested by the groom. His family were booked there and as such it was convenient for his friends as well. We have rarely been to the south of Sydney and do not know the Campbeltown area at all. The Rydges was in a convenient location to the Information Centre, Catholic Club, supermarket and to the wedding venue at Catherine Fields. Our room 226 was clean and spacious. The storage space excellent and clean towels were delivered on the 2nd afternoon without request, which was excellent and appreciated. Having sore towels assisted us in wedding prep. There was plenty of room in the lobby and bar areas for our large group to gather.

room was nice, had plenty of space was quiet and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable

everything was fantastic until check out. we checked in close to midnight, the night reception staff member was fantastic, when we called earlier in the day to say we would be checking in really late the staff member we spoke to was great, the room attendant we passed on the floor when leaving was friendly and polite….then at reception we encountered someone who obviously hated their job. there was no greeting at all just a curt “was there anything from the mini bar?”the answer was no. there were no further words spoken by the staff member at all, so we left with a terrible impression of the place.

Bedroom, location and cleaning.

Exactly the day that I booked 17th June, at 1 pm the water in thus hotel, would run out. We booked this hotel to get ready for a wedding, and I didn't expect it. So, I think that information should be sent before our booking, for us to arrive earlie. In addition, we shouldn't don't be charged to stay there at least 1 hour before. Is there any chance to get any discount next time? Because I would like to come back to this area, also recommend it to my friends too. Kind regards. Jaqueline Camilo de Oliveira.

Bed was really comfortable, rooms were clean, good location. Nice new hotel.

Staff at reception were friendly enough but a little off in their service. Wrong room was given to us on check in and we had to move. Menu needs work in the resturant and quite pricey for what was on the menu. Very little signage and direction on how to get to the reception area if you have used GPS with the hotel's address and come to the back of the hotel. No signage near the lift to let you know to go up the lift and there are multiple doors, stairs and options so people that have never stayed there before wouldn't know where to go.

The room was comfortable and well appointed. Bed was comfy, a couple of different pillows meant you could choose which one suited you best. The air con was very effective, room was chilly on a day where the temp got up to 30 degrees! Close location to the Catholic Club was handy, we went next door to the club for dinner and some drinks, all reasonably priced. Parking on site, although if you got there later in the day you might struggle to get a spot as the carpark wasn't that big. Thank You products were provided in the bathroom.

Price was a bit steep for what you got. TV went blank shortly after we got into the room, seems to be a known issue as reception knew how to fix when I rang them up (take room key out of slot and then reinsert to bring power back on again).

location is great, next door to the Catholic club and it’s varied restaurants and also close to the lovely gallery that has beautiful gardens and a nice c ad e for breakfast. room was what you expect for a 4.5 star hotel, although there was no gym

this is minor, but the tea and coffee provided in the. room was terrible, I can’t remember the last time we stayed in a hotel that doesn’t have a pod machine or varieties of tea on offer on checkout they tried too charge us for a bottle of wine and some confectionery that we did not consume, the lady at the desk took our word for it but. it feels awkward and embarrassing

We stayed for a wedding in the area, as we had many years ago having remembered how comfortable and convenient it had been, and we were pleased that the quality of stay had not deteriorated since then. The welcoming staff for our near midnight check-in were delightful, helpful and efficient. The comfort of the bed was great and was exactly what we needed for the mini weekend 'getaway'. The amenities smelled lovely and the restaurant/taproom looked super cool - it was a shame we weren't staying long enough to experience it.

The minibar prices were steep, but with supermarkets just a short walk away, we didn't avail of it (just disappointing noting the trend for complimentary minibars I've had at other hotels recently). And I'm absolutely nitpicking, but a larger showerhead would have been a bit better, but the water pressure was okay.

Room, very good. Bed Excellent. Breakfast good. Walked into the foyer 11-pm Sat, walked towards the Bar/Restaurant. Lady on desk said "Can I help you?" I said "Thought there might be a Cappuccino waiting for me!' she said "Yes at breakfast!" She was conversing loudly, laughing with her fellow colleague and continued to do so. I thought she was unprofessional. When I lined up for breakfast, Sunday 15th, the young man on the desk explained to the group in front of me, all about the buffet. When I stepped up to the desk he took my room number and said nothing! I said "Aren't you going to tell me about the buffet like you told the previous group?" I stood there and said "Are you going to take me to my table?" He said "Sit anywhere." I think some staff training is needed. After COVID I think staff generally seem to think they are "Precious" perhaps because of the shortages?

Probably what I have explained above. Politeness & good service go a long way to making up for shortfalls in any business.

We like how it’s conveniently close to eateries, Campbelltown mall, and MacArthur Square. Great location with access to a gym right next door and the Catholic Club as well.

We stayed here twice now and as much as we enjoy the hotel, one of the disappointing thing for us is the air con. That happened to us on our previous stay as well. We didn’t want to annoy the Front desk as we called about 3-4 times mentioning the air con, so we bought a cheap fan from Kmart, which helped tremendously for the room. The lowest temperature is 20 degrees which I think is still too hot, especially with the humid and hot summer weather there in Sydney.
